Hi so yesterday i was doing some exercise and unfortunately my phone was in my pocket so when i went to make some push ups on the bar the phone felt to the ground fortunately my screen protector was verry good glas protector if you know Tpix anti blue light so After it felt down my protector broke up and when i wanted to see if the screen was damaged i removed my zerolemon case 10 000mah for note 3 and saw that it was broken. Firstly this wasnt the first time i broke my case but it wasnt that bad cuz it was only on one of the parts so i ignore it but this is to the same spot but the cracking is now connected to the other part of the case so I was wondering if anyone can send me this case in 3d file format so I will be able to print it.

Hey guys, please vote here - who use screen protector with own TP2
And those who use, please describe here who is the manufacturer of your screen protector and your experience, how good is it for you.
Most recent HTC devices have come with pretty good screen protectors included in the box. I didn't use a screen protector on my first device, and I'm not making that mistake again.
anyone knows why they don't install it from the factory?
I voted and i own an x1. I use.
I've seen threads like this before and I've always wondered why there is even a debate on this topic. Why would anyone not use a screen protector?
My theory: The next person you see using a touch screen device with no screen protector, probably doesn't use one because he messed it up when applying it on the device.

well the picture quality without it is much better, isn't it? I have now 3M protector on my HTC herald, and it doesn't look as clean as without it.
You should use the Crystal Clear type. You sometimes don't even noticed that it's being installed.

That's true, but when you use your device for some months without any protector, it will never be so clear as with a screenprotector (that you can replace when needed )

Based on what I read in the accessories forum, I decided to try a Martin Fields one. Had it on for 2 days now - so far, so good. The one that came with the phone kept peeling off at the bottom edge near the buttons.
I didn't bother with my Vario III, as the ones I tried seriously affected the screen responsivness. Of course it got a key scratch in the first 3 months:-(
On my TP2 I installed the supplied one, and will get a Martin Fields one.
However I've got to return the unit (dodgy radio), so it is vital not to scratch it before returning it!
I messed upp my original screen protector
So i bought the Copter screenprotector from Skalshop.se it's a bit rubbery, but other than that it works good. It came with some liquid spray for aplying the protection. A bit tricky to apply but worked good in the end.
Martin Fields - where from you guys are buying them? I don't see them at ebay for TP2
also - are they really the BEST? or they just have the highest price?
The store from which I bought my TP2 gave me another screen protector - I haven't used the one that came with the device. Probably cost them less than US$1-2 to buy in bulk - I never pay more than US$8 for one retail
Using the one supplied with the evice and it works perfetly (I was against screen protetors when I had a Hermes, but with TP I can barely see it)
I once had a device and when I applied the screen protector I hated it. It improved sunlight visibility by refracting the light, unfortunately this made it harder to read fine print on the screen. I also couldn't remove the protector and was stuck with it. Another one I had tried before that one which was removable, reduced sensitivity too much.
Those are reasons not use one. But as long as the available protectors can be removed in case you don't like them, then it's worth trying them out. That way you don't risk your screen unecessarily.

That's right! I use it and it's better than the one that HTC gives us: I have a new one because it was removed while in my pocket.. But now I'm happier!
I´m using touchscreen phones for many years (since my first PALM ) and i´ve noticed that the new screens are much more resistent. I think that you loose quality if you use a screen protector.
Just don´t put your phone in the same pocket that coins, keys,... and use it´s cover when putting it in a bag.
one other advantage with a phone like this should you choose not to use a screen protector is that since the phone has such a large screen and it's so touch optimized you won't get as much wear and tear on the common points of contact (like the "e" on the onscreen keyboard).
I use Proporta Screen Protectors. After I had used then in my Asus P535 I do not want another brand. They protect very well the screen, they were washable and also doesn't change too much the sensation of the touch with the pen or even with fingers.
I dont use one for a few reasons. I dont put my TP2 in any pocket with coins etc. I am pretty careful with it.
Although most importantly im insured on it, accidental damage w/ no excess to when the time comes it gets a bit dodgy ill smash it up and get a new one. If ive still got the TP2 when my contract runs out/upgrade ill probably wap a screen protector on then.
Hello
I just purchased a white Galaxy S2 i9100. The phone was obviously sealed as it was bought from Vodafone Germany.
Now, removing the usual "brand new" display protector (The one with the phone's features printed on and so forth) ... After that, I really thought the phone had a bare LCD, I always cleaned it, etc, shiny and clean. However, after a few days I started seeing a bubble come up....
Then I realized it had a preinstalled screen protector? Really thin and I can see it on the edges of the phone...
Anyone else has experienced this?
Probably it was bought by someone else earlier who might have installed the screen protector and later returned it to the shop for some reason.
Odd. I don't think mine has a screen protector. But there was a very thin plastic covering on the home button, which I found odd.
Mine neither, if it has one you would have seen it at the front cam, the sensor, and the speaker bcz they are left out.. my home button got one too, yay
mine neither, too.
The only Protector was the thing with informations about the phone

Hello new galaxy S3 owner here and I found a problem with this fon. The problem is that it scratches very fast if your not careful. So I was using it for 2-3 weeks and noticed scratches on the back of the phone so I went to the shop and bought a bumper. After like a month I started to noticed little scratches on the screen. If you look very carefully you can see them. Now I worry about the camera and the glass on cam. Is there like a better glass or is it the same as on screen? How do you guys protect your SGS3? I was thinking about buying screen protector ...
Sorry for bad english or if this thread allready exists.
Solution 1: Don't touch your phone
Solution 2: Get the screen protector
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
hh think that the first one is the best solution I'm just a bit worried for the camera... I can get an screen protector but haven't found anything for camera.
For camera lens:
Solution1:Cut the screen protector and stick it
Solution2: Get a case which will avoid lens touching on any hard surface

I was thinking about buying 2 screen protectors and cut one for the cam lens. I was woundering how do you guys have your SGS3 protected? Cause I was hoping that I can use my phone with out any case like you know iPhone. It is made of glass but still good glass not that scratchable. Had SG Ace before, need to get used to bumper
Get a screenprotector (transparent, anti-glare, mirror or private) and use a case which covers the whole back and side.
Then ur good to go!

Hi there.. The first thing you do before even switch the phone on is buy a rubber pouch which will protect your phone including the camera. The pouch sits lower then the camera lens so you cant damage it even if you wanted to....Next you buy the screenguard. After putting the screenguard on and putting the phone in the pouch then start using your phone. Do this and your phone will still look brand new after 5years...:good:
I dont Get this.i have 2 sgs,1 gs2 and have had my gs3 since 10/6 and no scratches, even though i always put my keys against the front glass in my pocket,so i don't scratch the back.i have dropped my gs3 twice 1 time on concrete and once on asphalt, only damage is on the edges, quite bad looking and riffled but not a scratch on the screen and i have never used any protection..
And the way i have treated both gs2 and sgs with bashing and throwing them around and they still work and not a scratch on the glass.
I agree that gs3 seems more fragile than sgs and gs2 and i wouldn't throw the gs3 as i think it would break..
Maybe ive been lucky with my gs3.But nevertheless not single scratch on my gs3.
I am sorry to say but its really stupid if someone is using a smartphone without screen protector and back cover. Never Trust your hands in this case
the safest thing you can do for your mobile is buy a case and put your mobile inside it. scratch guard depends on how you use/handle your mobile, as u already see micro scratches u need to stick a scratch guard as soon as possible
So my boss asked me to replace the screen on his friends note 2...I've done several other screens and wasn't intimidated by the challenge. I ordered glass only and everything went fine and the phone works great...but...the glass seems to make contact with the screen and it almost looks like moisture is caught between. The spot moves and changes shape with pressure...so I took it back off cleaned it again and put it back on...same thing. I ordered another screen and haven't replaced it yet. Was wondering if anyone else has seen this? Fixes? Ideas? Thinking it has to do with the size of the screen and the fact that I can't replace the loca that comes from the factory. Money is the issue keeping him from buying the glass screen assembly.

I read somewhere that a guy put a screen protector between the glass and the screen in order to prevent the two from making contact. Haven't tried it myself so I don't know how well it works but it might be worth trying.
Well I tried installing a screen protector on the inside. I also tried a second screen. neither of these things worked. I ended up ordering a front housing assembly. I'm disappointed in myself...and the note 2

Fell off night stand 2 1/2 feet onto tile face down! Never had this issue before (Diztronic thin case) but it must have hit perfect to break the glass and it's got a nice spiderweb on the lower right hand corner!!!
To make matters worse it appears it has to be replaced with the display so $229 seems to be the going rate.
Before I get it fixed, my question is does anyone have recommendations, i.e. Samsung depot, ubreakifix, et al?
My phone was PERFECT, flawless and now I fear that it will come back looking less than 100%. My display is perfectly uniform and has no pink, etc. I just got a Note 9 and both displays look nearly identical.
What about water resistance? I don't normally dunk my phones but I'm concerned if/when I sell it.
I never use case's like this . Always buying 360 protection like Supcase ( In my s9+ SUPCASE ARES) with front layer of protection . I was using s7 with one of supcase's (Supcase Water Resistant) case it was inpristine condition. without any scratch or anything like it. Water resistans is always less if u do repair in services . They need to brake factory seal wich is IP68. Maybe ask i those who will repair your phone that seal will be water resistant. Wish you luck
My S9+ dropped a couple days ago when I was transferring out of the wheelchair. It hit a metal point on the edge which the plate glass saver did not save ? I was researching for a better case. Thank you ?
