First of all i have no knowledge on how to fix my phone or flashing.
My question title are based on what i read from other threads.
My Problem Started when:
Connected Phone to USB to Charge
Removed Phone from USB
Lock Screen wont appear
Decided to Reboot the phone
Now my problem is:
After Rebooting, I got stuck at loading/bootloading screen
Decided to go to Factory menu by holding Vol Down and Power
Chose Reboot Option
After that, the phone rebooted nonstop like 5 times and turned off.
Now my phone won't charge, or power up, or even go to the factory menu
Now trying to find how to fix it for hours now
My phone has an internal battery and memory / non removable - cause all the threads about flashing and videos about flashing i watched was removing batteries (but i have an internal battery )
It is a rebranded china phone called Cherry Mobile Omega Infinity.
According to the SPECS sheet:
Mediatek MT6592 1.7GHz octa-core CPU.
How do i fix this problem?
Can someone or anyone help me in a step by step guide?
Thanks in advance! :good:

Hi everyone !
I need your help : my galaxy S2 (1 year and 4 months of age) is not turning on anymore...
I'm on rooted JellyBam 1.1 and have Siyah Kernel 5.1 w/ CWM Touch as a recovery.
I was noticing some problems since last month but I don't know if it's correlated : my screen would turn on and off randomly during the day without any notification or anything.
Half an hour ago it froze, so I removed the battery and put it back on, I restarted once, and was stuck on rom bootscreen, then I did the same, removed battery+restart and then I was stuck on siyah splashscreen. Finally I did this once more and that time my phone wouldn't start anymore...
I switched batteries, did a soft reset (holding POWER 10 secs with battery off) and a hard reset (holding POWER+HOME 10 secs with battery on), plugged it to a computer via USB but nothing works and I don't see the charging sign anymore !
Do you guys have a solution ? I'm no longer under waranty so I don't know what to do...
Thanks a lot !
PS : how can I retrieve the data from internal memory to back it up in case there are no solutions ?
Hello at all guys, I'm desperately trying to install a new recovery to install new rom, I've done maybe a disaster, the phone will not turn on anymore, when I connect it is not detected (with the usual beeping sound on your computer).
I found online a full backup of a MTK6577 (boot.img, preloads, logo, recovery, etc.) I put all these files and made the procedure of flash with the software flash tools, the operation is completed I came out the green circle all that went well, but the phone will not turn on anymore.
The only strange thing is that I can load it with the power supply, this is because I use a cable that makes you see when you are charge(see attached file),this when there is no charging source will turn off automatically.
I have buyed this phone by this store: ([email protected]@[email protected]/snapshot/[email protected]), I tried to apply for a refund, but they are gone (as usual)
I tried to click on the back button (reset), but there is no button on the inside.
I ask for your help desperately, if there is any possibility of recovery in some way, even opening the phone, otherwise they are thrown money.
Many thanks, i hope you help me.
up, please help me
I was trying to install Chainfire 3D and I guess I did something wrong because I'm now stuck in a boot loop.
I have a Proscan PLT9045k tablet rooted. I was running a stock rom and kernel. Whenever I try to boot it up now it just freezes on the Proscan logo, I can't even make it to the Android boot screen.
Can anyone help?

I've tried that multiple times and I'm still stuck on the boot loop. And looking online I could only find a .img of the firmware for my tablet. It's hard to find any support at all for this model.
how I fixed my proscan tablet
I know this is super old but I hope this helps someone someday,
I bricked a proscan (made by curtis international) tablet, I found the proper firmware on the legacy.curtisint (dot) com/support/manuals.asp?p=15 web page
after unzipping all the contents and the zip file that is in the main folder I connected the tablet to the PC via USB with the power to the tablet off
look for RKbatchtool.exe in the batch tool folder, load the *.img file in the main folder in that program, below there will be many greyed out boxes numbered 1-8 iirc
press and hold the power button on the tablet until you hear the USB insert sound from your computer (the screen will stay black but it has turned on to the firmware loading function)
in the RKbatchtool program one of the greyed out boxes at the bottom should now be green or flashing and allow you to properly reload the firmware
let it run and it will auto complete and tell you when completed.
It doesn't cost the manufacture proscan to keep 'copy' of their old firmware stored at google or their own webserver, it's either they don't care about buyers who have issues with the firmware or software as it has bugs and the device is 'disposable' as they sell it for like $50. It's obviously not worth their time investing money on technical support for a product with so little profit. the company didn't even bother to leave digital copy of their manual or firmware for 'free' downloand and no technical support for their product and customers have to come here for 'free technical support' which is bogus.
these 'cheap' disposable tablets have self destruct mechanism if you reset to factory or try to flash it too many times,,just kidding or crap cheap tablets with technical support cause they want to give any technical support. and don't care as it's disposable. cheap garbage.
technical support is the job of the guy who made the stuff not for sites like this or third party websites.
The problem is the battery is too low to bootup. and there is not enough charge to load the android software. it only has enough battery to boot up stage. and when battery is low it shuts down. Plug the usb charger and fully charge the battery for 5 hours. If your battery was drained to 0% and you have not used it for months, you need to charge the batter for at least 6 hours to fully charge it.
it worked for me. and never use the battery to 0%. and not recharge it. always recharge the battery when it reaches say 10%
there is no need to flash the firmware or even reset it etc.
Greetings,
My device is probably about three years old, I was totally satisfied until I noticed sudden change in my phone's performance about three months ago, way too laggy even after doing factory resets and etc.. , battery was being sucked faster than it supposed (even with a new battery), heating up whenever it decides to, not being able to handle hardcore-use which it could handle in the past... etc.
So, I took all that as a sign that my phone needs to be replaced. Last night while I was on my pc and the phone was sitting in front of me, I caught the phone restarting by it's own. I noticed this happening frequently over the past few months, and usually nothing wrong happens, although I had to remove the SD card once.
But this time its a whole different issue, the phone was stuck on "Samsung galaxy s III .. blah blah" , pressing the power button wouldn't turn off the phone and it would turn itself on the moment I put back the battery. I surfed the web for info and found topics that called this "stuck power button issue" and they suggested to smack the power button with battery or smack the phone itself (without holding any grudge against the phone ). I did that and it fixed the issue of the phone turning itself on.
At this point I found out the next issue, the OS won't boot & i would still be stuck at "Samsung galaxy s III ..." screen. So I tried to boot into CWM (Power+Home+Vol Up) but it would loop me back to the same screen 'till death >_>
Then I checked if I could enter download mode and it was a success, afterwards I downloaded a stock .md5 for my phone (and specified country), Loaded it to odin and tried to flash using that, and it failed on me ... check the pic below if you wanna see the error massages
(add http)
postimg.org/image/dz0c0mu8l/
FAIL !! I tried it twice, I can't think of what to do anymore ... Being able to access BBM (I got a habit of making notes there) & Contacts (I am not sure if superbackup was being a good boy and made backups everyday) would be nice .. But I don't think it's gonna happen ... All I really care about is being able to recover everything from my Internal storage, I don't care if the phone becomes unusable or whatever.. I just need the internal storage.
+ My phone is rooted, I have some nandroid backups and the Rom I was using was Android Revolution HD
Update 12/10
I messed around with the phone, and found out that I can still get in cwm, but I keep getting stuck with "can't mount cache/recovery/..." "can't open cache/recovery/..."error
Since the phone is three years old the battery could be the culprit. Try with your friends battery to see if the phone is booting properly. Still if your phone stucks in boot loop then repalce your power button.
I faced similar issue. My phone went into bootloop even when in recovery. It would reboot while OS installation is in progress. Weird. Rebooting while in recovery could damage the recovery itself and next time it wont even boot into recovery.

so my battery was fully empty now.. i even pressed the power button 100 times after the battery was empty, to make sure all current is out of the phone.
plugged in charger... after 10 seconds phone start itself (after viewing the picture of empty battery) and elephone logo shows short and then back to showing picture of empty batterie cycle. After some minutes, and battery is loaded a little bit, elephone logo cycles again.
So rest in piece my p9000, i can nothing, i cant do anything from my pc because its only starting for like 5 seconds, i cant shut it down because of that and i cant get in factory mode
i am so pissed right now
just wanted to install the new update, everything worked fine like all the times before that and now my phone is ready for the trashcan.
Is there any way to reset the software without getting in factory mode?

the phone turns on and off in a cycle of 5 seconds, so that wont work
and i cant stop that cycle.
even if battery is 0% (i even press power button many times so really its drained out). If i recharge it, the cycle starts again without me doing anything. The Power button is not broken or something. it all began after i started new ota update and the phone rebooted like "mkitty" has the same problem it seems
Same for me, I have no idea how to restart my phone. And i dont want to loose all data I have on it.
have you tried to hold the volume up and power at the same time during the restart process to try and force recovery?

Hello,
Yes . I have tried that.
I have a list of options that come up on the screen.
I have tried them apart from the wipe data/factory reset.
But it is still the same result.
Thank you for help.
Any more ideas?
what OTA update version did you update?

It said something about wifi and audio update. I followed the instructions as per a previous update (which worked OK). I never took notice of any version numbers etc.

Its actually a great phone. Do you have twrp installed and can you get access to it? You could always boot into twrp transfer over the ROM and install it from there. If you have installed the vcom drivers then when the USB not recognized alert pops up. Go to settings and device manager. Right click the unknown device and click let me pick driver. You should be able to install it from there
The only thing I can suggest is to take the back panel of and unplug the battery. There videos on how to do this if you search YouTube or the forum. Effectively you perform a hard reset of the phone.
If and when you do get it working just twrp installed and do a backup of the whole phone working before performing any future upgrades or Rom changes. Its just better safe then sorry.
thenk you very much for that
The problem is that when I connect the phone on the off to the pc starts again the cycling through the elephone logo so the pc sees the phone for a few seconds in which does not recognises it and then is like the phone goes off until the next cycle so no time to go to device manager and install manually. but thank you for the comment.
removing the battery will void the warranty. I had the phone only since may.
It's unlikely it really matters. Your phone seller not going to take it back or fix it for free just because it's bootlopping. Well they may so just ask them. If you can't get it into recovery then a battery disconnect or contact your seller are your options
thank you

I can get it into recovery mode but I haven't got any software install in the sd card to do a recovery that is why I thought my only option was the sp flashing tool and the room which I have

Well in that case all you need is a stock rom and yes just flash them with sp tools and it should start booting again. The fact you can get to recovery is a good sign.

sorry for all of this and thank you very much for your help but when I put the phone in recovery mode by pressing the down volume and power key and connect the phone to the pc it is not recognized by the pc so I can't flash the room
