So you did s-off and used the GPE conversion RUU?
And the photo is before the GPE RUU?
If what I say above is correct, then the issue is likely due to the fact that the GPE version has very different band support than the AT&T version. Although you haven't mentioned what carrier you are using (and what LTE band and bands are required for that carrier).
https://support.t-mobile.com/message/358933
Not sure, but flashing a Sense radio may work with GPE (I'd say it probably will work). But I'd use something more recent than the 4.4.2 radio, which may cause issues with more recent based ROMs.
Also, how exactly do you intend to flash "your old 4.4.2 Sense baseband"?

To OP, be aware that you should not post your IMEI and serial number (which were in the previously attached photo) on the internet, as these are your private information.
I asked the mods to remove the personal info (for your protection), and removing the entire photo was probably the only way for them to do that.

Yes i s-off and boot loader unlocked and i coverted my att to gpe .
My carrier is MTN ...
I founde my old baseband in the index you made ...and the info of my old baseband was in that pic......
Old baseband : 1.16.21331931.LA11G
And i did not know about imei and serial number thank you.....
Now the flashing the my old baseband on gpe working or break my phone?
Tnx you sir...
MTN :
Currently those handsets which support 1800 frequency for LTE are compatible to use 4G. This information can be on the handset manufacturer's website or the handset manual.

Something is a little odd here. Based on specs, the AT&T version does not support 1800 MHz (Band 3). So either the AT&T version supports bands not specified (its possible), or the info you found is wrong.

According to a few folks on the radio thread, it seems okay to flash Sense radios onto a phone "converted" to GPE; and also to flash a GPE radio to a phone running Sense: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2736921
As with any mods on XDA, you proceed at your own risk. But according to the thread above, you should be okay.
I'm a bit wary of flashing a radio as old as the 4.4.2 Sense radio, as it might not be fully compatible with a more current ROM. But I don't think it will brick your phone, just might give you some bugs.

Phone is currently downloading the 4.2.2 OTA update...I'm rooted with custom recovery with super CID and s-off so it's obviously not going to take. Is there any way to get it loaded, or do I just have to wait for a ROM to be released? Also won't the kernel's not match even with a ROM? Is it possible to side load with a RUU? Don't care if the phone gets wiped....not much on it. Sorry for the noob questions in advance.
What ROM are you currently running? 4.2.2 isn't officially available on AT&T yet. There are several 4.2.2 ROMs in the International forums that work fine. Since you're S-off, you can flash almost anything. Start here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2119

Currently just running plain old at&t stock rom on 4.1.2. Hrmm...thought at&t just released it. Phone just downloaded a big 256 mb firmware update so I assumed that was it. Basically I just want the updated firmware with stock everything else..need wifi tether and other rooted functions. I figured (maybe wrongly) that by going s-off you can downgrade to stock RUU's that would allow you to then get OTA updates. Maybe there is more too it than that.

That's a firmware update for radios and some other stuff. It improved the signal quality for me. It's available in the developer section here as a flashable rom, stock and rooted: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2391148

And you can flash almost anything with s-off. Downgrade to bone stock or put 4.2.2 on. Even convert to the Google Play Edition if you like the look of stock android without Sense.

Not unlocked as in the boot loader I mean unlocked as in all bands for carrier purposes... Meaning you buy the phone and then at that point you choose which carrier you want to use for the device. That is what's called the unlocked international variant.

That isn't a developer edition. This is what I'm trying to tell you guys.... That is just the unlocked, unbranded by carrier (you choose your carrier gsm version) ................. A "developer edition" of a phone comes usually by HTC or it's manufacturer with an unlocked boot loader, or a bootloader that is easily unlockable like a Nexus device. The bootloader will differ from the standard version of the device as in locked carrier branded. A subsidized device would require an s-off and unlock method usually not compatible with a site like HTCDev, the international unlocked will have the same bootloader but it's not carrier branded so you can easily unlock (not s-off but unlock the bootloader only) via HTCDev, then a Developer Edition of a device comes fully unlocked or as stated easily unlockable and full fastboot commands manufactured for specifically that ~~~~~> Developing on!

Seems like you are asking 2 different things. Do you want to convert to stock international to receive OTAs for the international version; or just flash Viper custom ROM?
If you want OTAs, you can convert by flashing the desired stock ROM, stock recovery, and corresponding firmware.
If you just want to flash Viper, then update your firmware as described in Post#7 of the Viper thread (in the "international" M8 forum section): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51623014&postcount=7

I am not in US. I live in Turkey.
Is there any difference between us developer edition and euro?
Ok cid/mid is different for euro devices. I was under impression you were in states with an att device. Different regions have different versions,id look for one for your region or do the cid mid change, then follow steps for flashing.
Did you successfully convert it? and how? because i want to convert my m8 to international version to get OTA updates and to be able to turn hotspot ON, but this is my 1st htc and i know nothing, at all.
Q&A for AT&T Stock Backups, Recoveries, OTAs and Radio IMGs
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.
Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for AT&T Stock Backups, Recoveries, OTAs and Radio IMGs. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.
Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
When i resturned to stock. I only flash the stock recovery at rom. And i dont the radio. What radio does? Do i still need to flash it?
Little explanations needed !!!
Hi guys, just joined this HUGE community where you can find almost everything you need for your satisfaction:good: !
But since i`m noobie would appreciate some assistance in explaining how to unlock my M8,and install Android Revolution HD ROM !!!
I spent like 5 hours yesterday reading all kind`a info about how, where, why etc ... and the more i read, the more confused i got
Things i got to find out about my M8 = *software statusfficial* *Locked* HBoot-3.19.0.0000 Radio-1.22.30306251.27G CidNum- HTC__Y13 Version Main - 3.33.401.6
So the things i`m clearly too dumb to understand is STEPS from A-Z ,to get Android Revolution HD over Original(full with crap )ROM !?!
Would appreciate if some smart developer could explain step by step what should i do first, and what last... should i get S-off first,or should i unlock it first,or make it bootable ...as i told, i read so many info ,and got rally confused about all that process :silly:
Sorry for my bad english ,and tnx in advance for all who cared to shine some knowledge in my darkness

This forum section is specifically for the AT&T version of the M8, which your phone is not.
You want to post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help
But all you need to do to install ARHD on your phone is unlock the bootloader via HTCDev.com, install custom recovery and flash the ROM.

Its not clear what you are trying to do, or what your current configuration is. The radio is the software that makes your phone work on the cell network.
If you did not specifically flash the radio (s-off required) its still on some stock radio. Although it might not correspond to the software (main version or OS) version you are on, since its also not clear what software you are on.

AT&T is a carrier in the US. If you didn't know what it meant, then you shouldn't have posted here.
If you don't know an abbreviation, than look it up. There are a variety of threads that already explain what you are asking about, or just Google for it. Here is one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52484527
It doesn't tell you what AT&T is, but it explains a great many other common acronyms and terms.

where would i find the firmware for 4.4.4.? I tried downloading the android revolution custom rom 22.1 but i couldnt get any wifi after flashing.
didnt realize i had to update firmware(however when i received phone i was on 4.4.2 and i tried doing software update and was told up to date)
i was told go back to stock and take stock update but i never received one in the first place.
is there a way that i can flash 4.4.4. firmware now that im bootloader unlocked/rooted and s-off?
would i flash zip firmware then reflash android 22.1 or the other way around?
sorry for the noob questions but after searching for awhile i can say im honestly stuck without having to go back to 100 percent stock and hope i get an ota update
there is no att 4.4.4,if on an ATT variant, change your cid to BS_US001 and flash the 3.28.1540.5 ruu if you really want 4.4.4

is there a way that i can flash 4.4.4. firmware now that im bootloader unlocked/rooted and s-off?
would i flash zip firmware then reflash android 22.1 or the other way around?

This is discussed in a great many places. Euro firmware and instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2696282
US Dev Edition firmware here (included with WNC's ROM): http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-htc-one-m8/development/att-4-4-3-2-22-1540-3-debloated-sense-6-t2837365
Assume you are on AT&T, since this forum section is specific to the AT&T version. Note that Euro ROMs may create some network issues on AT&T (most prominent of which is LTE issues with Google services). The best combo for AT&T is WNC's ROM and the matching firmware.

there is no att 4.4.4,if on an ATT variant, change your cid to BS_US001 and flash the 3.28.1540.5 ruu if you really want 4.4.4

i guess thats where the confusion lies. Its not that i want 4.4.4. i thought i needed 4.4.4. to run the custom rom.

correct i followed those instructions and downloaded the latest firmware from that link and i still couldnt get wifi to work on the revolution 22.1 rom. i then followed the directions went s-off to try and find a firmware for me to run the rom and couldnt get anything to work.
Yes i am on att. currently 4.4.2 rooted with s-off running twrp as my customer recovery.

What did you try to flash ("couldn't get anything to work" doesn't' tell us a thing)? And what was the result?

your right i should be more specific. i went under the firmware section for the revolution rom and downloaded the firmware (3.32.531.2.zip). Now learning that this is euro rom and not att specific rom i guess the firmware i installed had nothing to do with att. the result didnt change. it was as if i flashed the rom without the firmware again. everything worked fine just no wifi. Before doing any of that i did a backup with twrp with just stock settings. right now im rooted and s-off. Looking into the rom you suggested and reading before i do anything. Its quite confusing this go around for me not too sure why.
appreciate everyones help though ! :good:
Backup your files [email protected] pics music etc, change cid and run the 3.28.1540.5 ruu, this is the same device(att variant) as us developer edition, will put you to latest compatable firmware and enable you to run any 4.4.4 builds out.

Did you flash the firmware with fastboot, following the instructions from the first link I supplied?
I think you are doing something wrong, which is probably why WNC is suggesting the RUU (which is a executable, and pretty much self-running).

yes i flashed the firmware with fastboot. i read both those posts before attempting even watched a few vids to make sure i did everything correct. However i think i am just going to go with WNC rom. i honestly had no idea there were euro roms and att specific roms. I figured everything in the att section was att specific. live and learn

What is your current hboot and radio numbers (both are displayed in bootloader).
Also, you often have to flash the firmware zip twice in order for all the modules to install.
Connect phone to computer with fastboot in power settings turned off, open a command prompt navigate to your adb/fastboot location and run adb reboot bootloader, once phone reboots it will connect to fastbootusb ,once this is established run this command fastboot oem writecid BS_US001then run fastboot reboot-bootloader,once this is done can run the ruu from fastboot connection.

The hboot and radio numbers indicate you are on the latest firmware. If you did in fact flash the firmware twice, I would be confidant the firmware is all properly installed. I would try either:
1) Flash the desired ROM again after wiping data, cache and Dalvik
2) RUU as WNC suggests
3) Try WNC's ROM with corresponding firmware
I recently unlocked my M8 and flashed the most recent build of Skydragon and updated the kernel to 3.4.0 Skydragon 3.1.5 and just realized today I cannot take any incoming calls when on LTW. Outgoing calls seem to work fine on LTE though. Any ideas? I tried to search around the forums but didn't see anything specific to this ROM. I am using AT&T service and Skydragon build is LRX22C.H5
This belongs in Q&A
Hey!
Same issue. also on ATT but I was able to get it to work by turning on the call forwarding to VM or the VM number for about 5 mins. then turning it back off. make sure your data is on when doing this not on wifi during the whole process.
Then place a call out then a test call to your phone.
Good Luck.
UPDATE...I lied...it doesnt work after a reboot. not sure whats going. going to see if i can reflash the radio
Make sure your firmware (radio, hboot, etc.) corresponds to what is required by the specific ROM build. I haven't seen firmware mismatch result in this specific bug. But random severe bugs are no surprise, and expected with wrong firmware. And as the previous post somewhat surmised, having wrong radio for your ROM might be causing the issue.
Also, running a Euro ("international") based ROM and/or Euro based firmware and having LTE issues on AT&T's network is similarly no great surprise.

You sure about those Skydragon versions numbers? They don't seem to correspond to Skydragon Sense or GPE, especially current version numbers.

I flashed the kernel separately.
I ended up going back to the factory ATT ROM for now. I would change the firmware versions if I had S-OFF but I dont.

If you only flashed the kernel, you did not flash all the firmware. "Firmware" contains much more than the kernel. Firmware also contains:
hboot
radio
WiFi module
Bluetooth module
media module
possibly other modules
as well as: kernel, stock recovery

Yes, I know. I am S-On so I could not flash firmware. I rolled back to the latest AT&T RUU ROM until AT&T releases Lollipop and the new firmware drivers. Once the drivers are released I will unlock and flash.

I'd be curious to see if its the firmware, or the ROM itself not playing well with AT&T's network. It might be either, or both. Although running a LP ROM on KK firmware is sure to cause issues, and never a good idea.
You didn't answer my question whether you were talking about Skydragon Sense or Skydragon GPE. But I'm assuming Sense. This person seems to have the same issue on ARHD, which like Skydragon Sense is also based on the Euro 4.16.401 ROM. (but like you, he is on KK firmware and s-on): http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-htc-one-m8/help/flashed-revolution-hd-incoming-calls-to-t3044736
I wonder if these Euro ROMs would have the same call issue when used in conjunction with Dev Edition 4.16.1540 firmware; although s-off would be needed to do that experiment.
