hi all expert,
I upgrade my huawei c8600 like as huawei ascend, to cm7 CM7-Ascend-05142011 2.3.4 version and another updated version, my problem was I can't connect internet using phone like as 3g modem with windows dial-up networking. In earlier version 2.3.3 I can use phone like as usb 3g modem. In 2.3.4 I found android modem driver in computer device manager so I tested Query modem but error message appear. I found adb interface device and I can install application with computer. How can I change to phone to 3g usb modem mode or how to solve my problem. Please help me.
Thanks you
Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 GT5110 running an Jellybean 4.11 and I try to connet a 3g dongle HUAWEI E1750 to it. The PPPwidget tells me sometimes that I does not have root access and sometimes that It can't find driver. Can anyone suggest a solution, like installing kernel drivers directly on android and not use PPPwidget. I knao that once thsi si done I will need an app to create and APN and connect to my ISP via the 3g dongle. THX
Hello people,
i got a small problem. I just bought a sm-g925F and be very happy with it so far. Well the problem is, that i can't connect to the phone via USB to flash another FW because 6.0 isnt aviable for switzerland (AUT) now. For those who think they maybe got a solution: impossible. I already tried everything in every forum. I tried different cables, different PCs, download mode, usb debugging, different drivers, manual set drivers, exit silent mode, wipe device, apply a new usb port on the device (im not that shure if they really did it).
Win 10 gave me a message, that its unable to get informations about the connected hardware. For me there are two solutions: 1. Hardware device of the device core PCB, 2. the Firmware is broken somehow.
ANYWAY i dont want a solution for that. Im just ask if its possible to flash another firmware for example via Wireless Lan oder an SD Card, connected to the S6 via USB adapter.
I am thankful for every reply
Kind regards
Same problem here, USB was working 100% then I got the 6.0.1 beta and now I can't get USB at all.. Are you on the beta?

Nope, i did a usual update to 5.1.1 when i got my phone.
if the device is still working...dial *#0808# and select MTP+ADB and try if u can flash the new FW you want to flash.
Mtp+adb was already selected
May i change these settings?
Get usb otg cable, and push firmware as adb or put zip rom on usb and browse the connected usb via otg in twrp

Hey guys i just got my S6 back!
I gave it to a samsung partner after some phones with the samsung service. They wasnt able to fix this problem. So i decided to give it away to repair it. It took 6 days(!!) whats amazingly fast and they installed a new main pcb, usb slot and another thing (dont know the part name) and it works fine now!
Thanks for all your help.
I discovered last week out of no where I cant seem to use any sort of data with my phone out of its usb connector. I first noticed it after trying to use one of my thumb drives with the otg connector but now no thumb drives will work an adapter I used to use for a game controller no longer works and I cant evem connect it to my pc via usb. The weird part is usb charging still works perfectly. Idk what to do I've tried my best to gently clean it and gone as far as a factory reset with no luck. I really dont want to have to tear it apart and put a new port it.
Bump
Hi , try to dial *#0808# choose MTP+ADB and see if it works ? Good luck

You can try to uninstall all drivers for your device , use USB deview tool to remove hidden drivers .
32 bit
https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usbdeview.zip
or
64 bit
https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usbdeview-x64.zip
Also try with original usb cable , and another usb port , also what you can try is to put your phone into Download mode and plug usb to see if is detected as Serial Port for odin COM . If is detected like that but when you normaly start your device it doesn't detect your device you can flash latest OS for your device and Region . to know which region you need you can download Samsung Phone Info.app from play store it will give you all information you need . For Firmware you can download on updato.com . Good Luck

So I've been using my original usb cable but have also tried others. I've also tried different ports as well as different computers. Also just tried changing to download mode and no luck.
Probably your micro usb port from cell phone is bad and you need to replace , if is on Warranty send them to replace that part if not bring your device in some legit service repair center .
You can try also to clean your usb port with 100% alcohol and some old toothbrush maybe some dust is stucked on contacts , but make sure your device is completely off before doing this stuff. Good luck

Hi all. So I'm trying to get my watch out of demo mode and download new firmware via Odin3. I put the watch into download mode and it connects to the laptop with an IP address but Odin does not see the IP address. I've downloaded all necessary files, installed Samsung USB drivers for Windows
Is there something I'm missing. I've searched everywhere I've found tutorials for issues with USB connected devices buy nothing for devices connected through WIFI
Thanks for any help

Try using a USB cable, idk how the watch connects so try that.
Odin usually only connects with usb cable

The link you provided is for a wireless connection to Odin since the only way to plug into USB port would be to remove the back of the watch and attach a cable by soldering to the MB of the watch itself, the watch connects like a hot-spot through IP address
Im not sure odin works wirelessly...
The wireless is for debugging but odin dosent connect wirelessly...
Pretty sure you need to connect the charging station to the PC via USB, as opposed to the watch. In the article you linked it shows that it has a COM connection, which is almost certainly a local USB port. COM can be used over TCP/IP but it's not a usual thing. You should have gotten a USB cable with the docking station surely?
So last night was success, I did manage to flash the watch with new firmware wirelessly. It is not longer a demo watch, I'm so very pleased since it unlocks the phone full capabilities, launching Odin3 as administrator allowed it to pick up the IP of the phone, took a little over 9 minutes to accomplish.
Thanks for all the responses to my query
