I upgrade my huawei c8600 like as huawei ascend, to cm7 CM7-Ascend-05142011 2.3.4 version and another updated version, my problem was I can't connect internet using phone like as 3g modem with windows dial-up networking. In earlier version 2.3.3 I can use phone like as usb 3g modem. In 2.3.4 I found android modem driver in computer device manager so I tested Query modem but error message appear. I found adb interface device and I can install application with computer. How can I change to phone to 3g usb modem mode or how to solve my problem. Please help me.

I am running the latest version of kies and samsung mobile usb driver. When I try to connect with KIES it says cannot start service on the device. Please disconnect and reconnect.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything already.
Simple and clean 2.4.4

That's most likely because you're not on a stock ROM/Kernel. User preference usually goes like this:
Stock - Kies
Custom - Third-party tools

i am living in india.from the place i live only GPRS facility is available.but i have a pc with a wireless broadband usb modem connection..i want to use my usb modem's internet in my phone through PC.My phone is not rooted and i am familiar with changing roms.Can this be done if so how can it be..please reply..i always wanted to do this since i bought my phone.Thanks.

u can use connectify or if u use intel wifi hardware , just update to latest driver version and use Intel MyWifi technology

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 GT5110 running an Jellybean 4.11 and I try to connet a 3g dongle HUAWEI E1750 to it. The PPPwidget tells me sometimes that I does not have root access and sometimes that It can't find driver. Can anyone suggest a solution, like installing kernel drivers directly on android and not use PPPwidget. I knao that once thsi si done I will need an app to create and APN and connect to my ISP via the 3g dongle. THX

Yesterday i installed firmware I9300XXUGNA8, i think it's the latest firmware for SGSIII. And after that:
1. I can't turn on Wi-Fi on my SGS III.
2. It seems that there is a problem with mobile internet. There is an H+/H/E icon, but there's no internet. I can't download anything, neither open any webpage. But may be the problem is in my operator.
3. When i'm connecting my phone to notebook via USB, it charges, but there's no access to the phone.
4. Android gallery (com.sec.android.gallery3d) stopped working after the new firmware had been installed.
I've made hard reset, but there is no any changes. So now I even can't use my google accoumt on my phone. Any ideas how i can solve this problem?

did anyone manage to connect an usb stick ? i tried with my huawei 3131s-2 and it says in the pp2 widget that no modem is found
