For $22, I got this:

Took an old dictionary, and made this:

It works really well with the Nexus 6.
Cool idea!

This is a great Qi charger, like all Qi chargers, if you're not going anywhere for a while. The LOWEST price that I've found and it works with the Spigen case on. Pictured is the charger on my nightstand next to my bed and alarm.

I have a couple of these, and highly recommend them. They're also VERY easy to mod to remove the annoying beep they make when charging starts/ends. I keep that on at work, but I removed it from my bedside one.
I have this same charger & it doesn't work with my Nexus 6. I have 2 of them. I couldn't get either of them to charge it. I used them with my Nexus 5.
I saw this thread and ordered one. Works great on my Nexus 6.
I had made a wood stand for my phone a while ago and just cut out another piece for this to sit in and now my phone will charge when I set it in my stand.
For the light, I was just lazy and put a piece of tape on it.
Anyone with the naked playstore case that can confirm this will work?
I use the Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear and it works with no issues.
Hi guys! I've been eyeing a wireless charger for a while now. I have the D855 which includes Qi wireless charging capabilities
.
Last time I purchases a generic charger for the Note 2 it got really hot for my liking.
I've had an eye for this one... Aukey N12:

Unfortunately I can only find this one on eBay Australia:
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=171730898638&alt=web
But it's $80+ down to $6.99 which is concerning.
So are there better alternatives (I assume there are heaps)?
Thanks!! [emoji4]
Will wireless chargers charge through some/all cases or covers?
It would be a pain to have to keep removing a cover (for example gel or plastic one) to be able to charge, espeically for those that are a really tight fit.
The Nokia wireless charges work flawlessly
The Nokia one is great but hard to find cheap.
Try the WCD-100 which is from LG and you can get it from Ebay for under $40-50. It works perfectly with the LG G3 (with a case). You just need to make sure you have a 1.5Amp USB charger as the WCD-100 doesn't come with a wall plug, just the USB cable.
I have several wireless chargers, the ones I like best are the Itian desktop charger and the Ikea Desk lamp charger. I have the Itian at work and the Ikea on my nightstand next to my bed. I need to put some clear rubber "feet" on the Ikea charger for easier alignment, and maybe find a way to add the charger for my G Watch R, but both work well. I should also add a disclaimer that I have only used the Ikea charger with the LG quick circle case, bit the Itian worked with the thinner cases, not so much with the leather book case (plastic and leather between the phone and charger)
@Aid777
It really depends on how thick it is. I reckon <4-5mm will be able to. I hope to get one soon and I'll let you know when I do.
guys - which pad do you recommend? I already have a case that's compatible with a pad

I use this guy. Works well with the Nexus 6 and my case. Has a littel grip with the rubber pads and has a light to let you know it is charging. You can also put your phone in on its side and adjust it a bit to make it work that way as well.

I have used many pads and stands and none of them have any trouble charging through my two-layer Ringke Max case. Here are the chargers I've used:

get a knockoff tylt or make your own. follow my link. I have a tylt I dont see why a knockoff would be any different
Ochee charging pad works great.
I'm using this one since my Nexus 5 and it works wonders with the Nexus 6 as well...

In addition to the Spigen F300W mentioned earlier, I've used the Choetech Iron and am currently using the well-known Tylt Vu.
They all push about 650-700mA (according to Ampere) while charging through my Spigen Ultra Hybrid case. For reference, Ampere reads about 2300mA using the turbo charger.
I use the same powerbot that I've had since my nexus 4 and 5. Still works fine.

I really like this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Itian-Wireles...=UTF8&qid=1454555937&sr=8-7&keywords=itian+qi
Had it for over a year.
Also use this in the car (with a couple of mods to make it work better):

I'm looking for the thinnest Qi charger available. It doesn't have to be fast charging, just super thin. I have the Ravpower Mini charging pad, but it is slightly too thick for what I want to do with it. I want to glue it down to my RAM mount so that I can charge wirelessly in the car while in use. Thanks!
My old nokia qi chargers are slim enough and do charge my s7 pretty quick

I took apart that Nokia 3 coil and mounted its guts in the center console lid of my Silverado. Works like a champ through the phone case and the plastic tray of the console.

if u know how to Solder and have good hands u can do really cool things with something like this :
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Qi-Wireless-Charger-PCBA-Circuit-Board-With-3-Coil-Wireless-Charging-Pad-DIY-h-/111787743471?hash=item1a071198ef:g:qPwAAOSw0HVWDzzK
that's the thinnest Qi charger available
I have an Itian branded one that works okay, but is too picky about placement for me. There's no semi-current information that I can find on what wireless charging stands people are using with their Shamu's. Looking for something that works out of the box without frankensteining something together.
I've got one of the Itian stands and a couple of other stands that look like they're the same device with different branding and I've had good luck with them over the years so maybe you just got a bad unit. The best wireless charger I have isn't a stand though, it's a Yootech pad. I have it sitting on the arm of my recliner and it works marvelously
Tylt Vu workshop really good. Quite expensive though. There's other though with the same design and 3 cols for charging. Have a look on Amazon.
The round Samsung one works great
Samsung Mini wireless charging pad Qi EP-PA510B
Works perfectly.
perfectly = how much amepers?
If you have not bought one yet Tylt Vu works really well. I just picked up on off of eBay for $20. there were plenty more available.
