PLEASE DON'T USE THIS!!!!! Using Cfroot makes your phone susceptible to the eMMC super brick bug! So flash something like siyah kernel to keep your phone safe.

I'd advise you to use 4.1.5 as version 5 is still in beta. good luck

PhilZ-CWM6 stock kernel, with root, Busybox, SuperSU app and safe from eMMC brickbug.
Flash it in stock recovery.

If you want to be 100% safe, don't screw with it, and just use your phone normally.
If you flash a safe kernel you'll avoid brick bug.........

look into the siyah kernel. which is what most people used to root there 4.0.4. once you flashed the kernel and have clock work mod, flash a custom jb. be careful.

[Q] Which version of JellyBean for my S2?

Hi, I have a unlocked unbranded S2,
About Phone:
Model Number: GT-I9100
Android Version: 4.0.4
Baseband Version: I9100XXLQ6
Kernel Version: 3.0.15-I9100XWLPT-CL941023 [email protected] #3 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jul 27 18:08:15 KST 2012
Build Number: IMM76D.XWLPT
Kies:
PDA:LPT / PHONE:LQ6 / CSC:LPA (XEU)
Kies says I have latest firmware. But if I wanted to manually update to JellyBean, which version do I use? The Nordic Countries?
Thank you very much.
Yes, LSD.

Beware of the DEA.

u got 2 options. first is: wait until kies says there is an upgrade for your phone (would be lsd) or u flash lsd from this forum here manually.

[Q] Upgrade to Android 4.3 on a Galaxy S2 GT-I9100

Hi,
Apologies if this has been asked before, but could only find a thread relating to an AT&T version.
I am looking to see whether its possible to upgrade my S2 running 4.1.2 to 4.3.
My specs from the phone are:
Baseband Version I9200XXLS6
Kernel Version 3.0.31-462349 [email protected] hash 3 SMP PREEMPT Tue Nov 6 02:42.23 KST 2012
Build Number JZO54K.I9100XXLSJ
I understand this is a Philz Kernel?? Will this need changing or upgrading to allow 4.3
Grateful for any advice on a straightforward, easy and stable change if this is possible
Many thanks from a Noob
