As a heavy user, I've been using this Brando battery case for a while and I love it:
shop.brando.com/power-jacket-with-cover-for-sony-xperia-z2-4500mah_p11456c1599d003.html
However, it doesn't protect the sides of the phone, and I would like to know if there's a rubber/gel/soft/silicone/matte bumper case out there that I could modify by cutting to fit it with the battery case.
I'm searching for something like this, but with no cutouts for the microsd area:

Hello all,
I am just wondering if anyone knows of good cases for either the 2200/2400 extended batteries.. preferably one that includes pockets for credit card/cash too.. carrying a wallet around is kinda troublesome! thanks
Case?
I squeezed the 2s with a 2200amp battery into a book open type PDair leather case.
It's not completely fitted but better than others.
Cheers,
Sena and EB cases will fit
sena fits well just that it doesnt sit in the cradle too wel..
i actually did manage the squeeze teh 2400 into a brando hard case... can barely move the keyboard though... and the touch screen functionality is almost zero because of the tight fit.. haha not very practical at all.
the eb slipper case http://www.ebcases.com/Detail.bok?no=3301 looks quite good because it actually covers the bottom of the casing.
I used my XDA 1 with the issue O2 case and the thing I notice between that case and the likes of the nice brando rigid casing is that there are still quite a few bits of the unit that are exposed so if you drop it, bits of your PDA will still get damaged if it happens to fall wrong.
I know, it happened to me on more than one occasion.
from what I can see on the meagre picture on the EB case site, the bottom and sides are covered and the belt clip looks quite nice as well. no accidental clip releases there I think.
could someone tell me if the EB case has the camera button exposed for use, and is there a hole for the camera on this case? it's a bit ambiguous.
Hi I currently have the Krusell Cabriolet for my 8125, which makes using it like a phone very simple. However, pushing it out to use the keyboard without opening a bunch of progams because I pushed buttons in the process makes this a little suboptimal. I don't like the book cases or flip cases because I want my screen uncovered for my own convenience (I have screen protector film and I'm satisfied with that level of protection).
After doing some research, I like the simple styling of the crystal clear case for the 8125 (see links below). Because it snaps on individually on both sides, there is no obstruction to opening the keyboard, and there is no flap over the screen. It is not as elegant as a leather case and not as bulky or heavy as an aluminum case.
My only issue is that it doesn't appear that it is sold with a belt clip. From the photos, it appears that there is an opening to attach a belt clip. I checked the Boxwave site and though they sell clear cases with swivel belt clips on other models, they don't do with some, including this one.
So finally...my question is, does anyone know whether I would be able to purchase a belt clip separately or (1) does this particular case not support a belt clip, (2) it would not be advisable to use with a belt clip even if it was possible, due to design issues (e.g., snap on case not that durable or snug a fit and phone might pop off, etc.)?

Do these plastic cases cover the screen? It seems they do not, but it is not obvious from the pictures.
They dont' protect the screen. I have one for my mda, and left it on there for like 5 mins. It makes an already bulky phone bulkier. Plus it just feels cheap, especially when you're sliding the keyboard open and shut. But I got it for $10 shipped, so whaddya gonna do? Check ebay for cheaper prices.
(This was with the MDA case...but maybe the 8125 is made with some true craftsmanship so as to avoid these problems )
Thanks just what I needed
Just wanted to say thanks I have been looking for a case like this.
Take care
Cases don't fit 8125
Regarding http://www.daydeal.com/home.php?cat=2262, those cases fit MDAs but will not fit on an 8125. Although both have basically the same form factor, there are enough differences in the edges of the phones and mail/IE button locations that the case will not fit. I learned from experience.
Currently have xperia x10(hence the forum =), but my case is bothering me greatly. I have a stupid silicon one i bought online, it offers great protection, but makes the phone unattractive and comes off wayyyy to easily. Anybody have any suggestions on a new one? I'm thinking of the otterbox or the incipio one. I'm looking for an attractive case that has somewhat decent protection. Any suggestions?
I have a smoke clear case made of TPU that I got on eBay for just a few dollars (U.S.D.). It's not bulky like the hard plastic or rubberized plastic cases are and it's not sticky like the silicone cases can be. The case itself is bendable and 'rubbery,' but smooth. I think it offers great protection for the price. I've been using it since last year with no problems.
I got mine from an eBay seller named 'dcmugen88.' There are other cases for the X10 that are made of TPU, but the smoke clear one he sells has no designs on it and I like that.
He's selling one now for $3.49 (U.S.D.) and free shipping:

Oh...my girlfriend has an HTC EVO 4G with a TPU case too. She recently dropped the phone into water accidentally, and the TPU case kept almost all the water out of the protected areas. Her phone still works perfectly.
I did not like the silicone case, I wonder anyone took his leather case?
I am looking to get the otterbox commuter case but they want $50+ for shipping also... which is too much IMO.... if anybody knows of any sites please let me know....

Hi
I purchased a Capdase Alumor Metal Case from mobilefun.co.uk, its a really good fit and feels sturdy, I am very happy with it.
I got one of the silicone cases of of amazon and it is muck, terrible fit.
there arent good cases for x10 out there....
I have used many cases. I am still searching for "thee" case.
So far I have used the silicon, and gel/cases and they are bleh.
I did try a leather case, the Melkco Jacka type case.

I really like this case, BUT, and this is a bit BUT, it's poor design.l The phone fits/snaps into place perfectly, however, its a "from the bottom" flip case. The cover, when you flip it over, at the bottom presses the home button. This turns your phone screen on. At this point the cover is now pressing on the home button the entire time the cover is closed. The screen does time out in 5 seconds, however, while in your pocket, it constantly bumps and activate the screen with he slightest touch. Draining battery.
I am about to order this case. So far I have been told it's probably the best case there is for an x10. It's an Incipio case. http://www.myincipio.com/Sony-Erics...on-Xperia-X10-EDGE-Hard-Shell-Slider-Case.asp
What I really want is a Seidio case. Too bad they don't make them for the x10. I have one for my atrix and it;s the best case I have ever had.

I recently purchased Mercury Leather Wallet Case from ebay (Link).
I bought a no-name leather flip case from a local shop (I tried to find the same one on ebay for reference, but failed), and it was very nice case. Good quality leather with little padding. BUT, it didn't have any protection at the top and bottom of the phone. And more importantly, there was a magnet behind the phone on the right side, which interfered with s-pen operation. I started taking out the phone whenever I was home, and then I decided to get a new case.
After searching through sites and ebay, I found this Mercury case. I chose this one because the phone was detachable with a jelly case.
First, the case is not as nice as it looks on the photo. It is not real leather, more like plastic and thin. Stitching is well-done for the most part, but it could be better. The magnet closure is using glue and it is already coming apart. I will have to superglue it or tape it up. It can hold up to 4 credit cards, but it barely closes.
The best part of this case is the jelly case. It is better quality than the usual TPU case. It is slippery to slide in and out of my pockets, but provides good grip in my hands. The phone wiggles just slightly in the jelly case, but a very good fit. On the leather case, there is a silicon-based sticky pad, where the jelly case sticks onto. I have had the jelly case on and off multiple times, but it still holds the case very nicely. If I needed to, I can wipe it with a wet towel to clean it.
And here is the second issue. The cutout for camera/speaker/s-pen is slightly out of alignment. If I align the phone to the cutout, outside edge of the phone is at a slight angle from the leather case. If I align the phone to the outside edge of the leather case, camera is off to the side of cutout. It doesn't affect the camera operation, but it is an issue nonetheless.
For the price, I think it is a very good value, because you also get a very good quality jelly case. When I go out, I stick the phone into the flip case. When I am the office or home, I take it out for easy access to the phone.
Oh, it also came with a screen protector, but I already have one on, so I don't know what it is like.

I just learned that the jelly case included in Mercury Wallet case is exactly the same material as SGP Ultra Capsule Series. I had them side-by-side.
They both seem to be from Korea, so these cases may just have different branding.
Anyone use the Noreve S7 Leather case? http://www.noreve.com/en/galaxy-s7/3219-samsung-galaxy-s7-leather-case.html
It looks like the edges are not completely covered.... if I dropped my phone would this protect it from cracking the glass?
Also, newbie question.... can the leather case allow wireless charging?
Hey.
I don't use the case, but it's pretty nice looking! I doubt it would protect your phone if you were to drop it - there's not enough material to absorb the force from the impact, so most of the force would be transferred directly to your phone.
You could, however, use the case when you're at home and swap it for something more protective for when you're going out.
Yes, leather and plastic cases will allow wireless charging, although metal won't.
Do you think it's relevant that the rounded edges aren't completely covered by the case? I believe the Samsung version completely covers the edges. Would that make the Samsung a better case for protection if I drop it?
