At the first loading of flashed rom checkbox "Data Allowed" in the Mobile Network Settings ENABLED by default
I do not use unlimited Internet therefore
I need some flashable patch update.zip which I can flash after the rom for switching this option to DISABLE
It is Really? Where android save this setting?

It would probably be a lot easier to use an app like tasker to crate a profile that on device startup disables mobile data. Then before you switch ROMs backup your tasker profiles and the taker app. Then when you switch ROMs just immediately reinstall tasker and restore the profile to disable mobile data and you should be all set.

I think it is longer than manually swith "Data enabled" option off, am I right?
May be my English so bad...
May be I need to start this topic in another Threed ? Advice to me.
Look, I download some Custom ROM (Cyanogen based for example, it does not matter). I wish to Flash it. After "wipe data" all my settings deleted. I flash the ROM. I know that by default data access over mobile network is ON. I should to take out my SIM card before first load of ROM. After first loading finished
I manually swith "Data enabled" option OFF. I turn OFF smartphone. I connect my SIM card. I turn ON smartphone.
So many stupid steps just to try and test new Custom ROM....
I wish some patch (like GAPPS) to flash it immediately after the flashed ROM for switching OFF "Data enabled" option
Help me please :crying:
You could try changing the build.prop settings or something similar in radio configuration options and create a flashable zip (Look at this guide forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1611615) that modifies these properties using edify scripting that you could then turn into a flashable zip.

Flash ROM without sim card, boot then disable 'data'. Once done, insert sim again.

Hi,
Perhaps I have found a method to unlock the LS990.
I dont know, if this works with us carriers.
I have tried it with a non US carrier and it works for me.
Needed:
Root
Root Explorer
Shortcut Master
1. Replace the two files in /carriers/apps with the two files below with Root Explorer
2. Reboot your phone
3. Open Shortcut master and select search
4. Search for apn adn select com.andoird.settings.ApnSettings and then click Launch
5. Select on the Top Right new apn
6. Fill this form out with the apn from your provider (If you don't know the apn look it up in google)
Done
Now everything should work
Still to do:
Disable the Hand free activation from sprint - I have not found the right app now
In the GSM mode my phone shows only GSM in the status bar and not G E H or H+ - Does someone know how to change this?
Automatic selection of the apn, this can perhaps be done with the file /etc/apns-conf.xml
I hopeed I could help some people, if the unlock was succesfull please give me a feedback
This is at your own risk.
Please do it only, if you know what you do!
Tried and it works. Indeed shows gsm to be as well but works.

Do we have to change the permission of those files. I am unable to get gsm signal after replacing the files. Shows a small x on top of the network bar, also the APN is not sticking.

On USA carrier?
No I am using it international
I could it only try on iternational carriers.
Perhaps everybody can write if the phone was used with sprint before and if it was activated.
My phone was not activated and I didn't use it with sprint.
I have done a factory reset before, so that everything was clear.
This is great man!!!
My phone was not activated and im now using it with a Mexican carrier (telcel) with no problems
So how many till now has been able to unlock this? Is it on a particular firmware only? Just wanting to be sure in case I buy this. Oh And is it permanent?

I located in China. I try the sims from CMCC/CU which is the two GSM carrier here and receive the same error.
I covered the two files and set the right permission same as original files, 640 and 600. I don't know what happened. I will take another LS990 to try again.

Hey guys,
I wanted to make a post about this issue as I spend some time searching the Internet for a solution.
My girlfriend had this problem on her OnePlus 6T but I understood later it wasn't related to the phone.
What happened was the internet connection didn't work except for some apps like WhatsApp and Messenger, and there was an exclamation mark next to the mobile data icon.
This indicates that the internet server cannot be reached, and this issue can have many causes from what I saw on the forums.
So the aim here is to list all the possible causes and the associated solutions, instead of posting on a 2 year old thread.
#1 You have used all your data
This was actually her problem, and I'm glad I saw a guy asking this question on a forum because it is so obvious we don't think about it.
And I suspect this is the most common issue, with some people saying the problem disappeared a few days later. So in this case you know what to do!
#2 OTA update issue
Apparently an update can reset the APN (access point name) settings and make the phone connect to a server that is not configured to provide internet
1. First go to settings
2. Mobile Network Settings
3. Access Point Names
4. Open the three dots on the right hand corner
5. Reset to default
6. Reboot
If it still doesn't work make sure your 'APN Type' field contains at least "default, supl".
Next option is to enter manually the APN settings, for that:
1. Find a webpage from your carrier explaining which settings to enter to configure the APN
2. Go to Mobile Network Settings/APN
3. Click on the "+" and enter the settings
#3 Unknown issue
Here are some other possible solutions to the problem:
Change preferred network
1. Go to Network settings
2. Mobile network
3. Change the preferred network to 3G
4. Wait until the exclamation point disappears, now it should work on the 3G network
5. Switch back to 4G
These methods have not provided results from what I've seen, but if none of the above solution worked you may want to try!
Clear the GPlay services cache
1. Go to settings
2. Applications
3. Google play services
4. Memory usage
5. Clear cache
Clearing Cache
1. Power down the phone.
2. Wait until the device is completely off.
3. Then press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time.
4. Continue holding these two buttons during the initial OnePlus splash screen.
5. When the OnePlus logo goes away, you can let go of these two buttons.
6. And then wait until the phone boots into Recovery Mode.
7. If you have a password set, you will have to enter the pin to decrypt(basically unlock access to storage) here.
8. Tap on the language of your choice.
9. Tap on the Wipe Data and Cache option.
10. Tap on the Wipe Cache option.
11. Tap the Yes option when asked to confirm.
12. Wait for the phone to clear the cache partition.
13. Then tap on the Reboot option to restart the phone.

Hi guys,
I am facing the same issue on my moto g82 5g from recently. I have tried the mentioned steps but still facing the same issue.
Please help
It seems it can't boot with Treble project, someone port a MIUI for XZ1 please.
I'm not sure if it difficult to port one because of DRM key. I'll be glad thought there is a beta or bugs ROM

Made by ISA SAMET but Rerard (on telegram, I don't know his real/xda name)
MIUI FOR XZ1.
Bugs: NFC. mobile data is tricky, minor UI glitches.
Files itself is self explanatory, First of all FORMAT data, push the 3 folders into internal storage, push the backup into /sdcard/TWRP/backups/(your device's serial/
restore the backup and flash corresponding zips.
after booting up install those apks.
after installing the apks, flash the magisk modules and reboot.
create a mi account on login into it from your phone, DO NOT TURN ON FIND DEVICE.
also open dialer and type *#*#86583#*#*
and you can login into gplay.
also mobile data is tricky, go to settings, sim card & mobile networks, access point names, select the apn.
In my instance you can't switch into 3g to 4g from the settings, that's why I provided network signal guru app.
for switching into 4G, open up NSG, 3 dot menu - lock rat - lte.
you can install open camera from google play.
