I have tried to update my LG D620r to android lollypop, but whenever I try to do it over the phone it downloads the update and when it tries to install it, gets error 0x1111002.
Then I tried to update with the LG PC suite and the LG Mobile support tool, both times the phone tried to restart and displayed "Secure Booting Error! Cause: boot certification verify" followed by a purple screen that says "DBI apps Watchdog reset"
Besides that the phone runs fine with kitkat 4.4.2. I have tried factory reset 4 times, didn't help. The phone isn't rooted, though I have tried to root it using "towelroot", but it said the phone doesn't support it so I didn't try anymore
Anyone know a solution?
Hello, anyone?

I got my Prime 2 days ago and after charging and powering it up for the first time, it began downloading a firmware update. I chose to install it, the Prime rebooted, and after the android logo with moving gears, it showed an android logo with an exclamation sign.
I rebooted it and then I got a notification that said "system update failed(2): unknown error". I then attempted to manually check for a firmware update, but I got "There is no update available for your device currently".
I tried copying the ASUS update zip to a microsd, I tried draining the battery, I did multiple factory resets, and it still won't update or even find OTAs.
I also tried with the installed version again (8.8.3.33) and even that resulted in the android + exclamation symbol.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this issue? Or at least what could be causing it?
So I rooted my phone so I could I could install font/language that wasn't available stock. It's been several years now and the phone is locked because too many pattern attempts. Tried reseting via Google account but seem none of my password I could remember works.
I am able to boot into "download mode !!!"
Does this mean I can still revive/reset my BLU?
I remember boot screen had option but this is only green screen with "download mode!!!"
Need help with next step. Maybe this is my opportunity to install lollipop or kitkat.
Hello
I have Lg P710 II phone rooted. Yesterday I deleted probably settings.apk. I knew that I have to be aware when I'm using rooted Android, but it happend.
I can't enter into settings, I was trying to do factory reset but I'm stuck at the "Unfortunately, settings has stopped". I can't even run my phone in download mode.
I hope you can handle this issue.
I performed a factory reset / wipe data. It boots but doesn't boot to home screen. it gets stuck on (update check failure to connect to server) though connected to wifi and internet working.
I have tried rooting with jmz package after installing Pdanet v5 but the rooting fails and says phone not connected / drivers not installed.
device manager says phone connected and drivers working
Please any help on how I can bypass this update check or root the nabi device??
Thanks for your solutions
I'm in the same boat. I had to do a factory reset, because all of a sudden, I was asked for a password that I never set up, after a reboot. Online the only solution I found was to factory reset. But, after the factory reset, I found out that Nabi is no longer supported by Mattel. They supposedly released a final update to remove unsupported apps and basically turns the Nabi into a normal android tablet, but my tablet will not update because it fails to connect to server. Have you tried to contact Mattel to get any support?
Samsung A8 (2018), (SM-A530F/DS) homescreen stuck in "phone is starting" after update
Hi guys, yesterday i did a software update for my samsung A8 (2018) phone and it was going normal until i received an error message at the end of the update. My phone continued to boot successfully but now the homescreen is always stuck in "phone is starting" message.
The phone itself works and i am able to open other apps via google playstore but the homescreen is unusable. I have tried doing cache partition wipes and factory resets, i also thought it was a soft-brick so i tried FRP hijacker with the soft-brick fixer but it just says "check connection" even though my PC successfully scanned the port of my phone. When i open my phone in recovery mode it says "firmware is not valid" at the end of the command line.
I have tried searching online for similar issues but most users have experienced bootloops which is not exactly the problem i have right now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
@Verthingale
Taken from Samsung:
Devices with Android 9 or higher will automatically enable file-based encryption if it has a PIN, pattern, or password set up. During the boot process, the phone will display "Phone is starting..." and the screen may be blank for a few seconds while encryption is taking place. However, if you feel it takes too long for your phone to start, you can disable the encryption to cut a few seconds off of the boot time.

Hi jwoegerbauer, thank you for the reply however unfortunately i don't think the "phone is starting" protocol is actually working. I only experienced this problem right after the latest software update and that was about last night, I have actually tried waiting for the phone to load up but it actually never does (even though i left my phone idle and waited for hours). I am fairly certain that it is a glitch/bug caused by the error at the end of the software update however i am not sure on what to do in such an occasion.
So as to clarify, the software update DID NOT complete as there was an error/failed message right at the end of it but while looking up in the internet i found out that apparently software updates are permanent and cannot be reverted back?
If that is the case then i am really in a pinch right now as i cannot go back to my old software version and yet the new one also does not work.
