I Recently replaced the Lcd screen and digitiser on sony ericsson x10i. but i still can't get it work.why?how to calibrate the Lcd screen?
DonĀ“t need to calibrate.
If you replace it, everything have to work without calibration or something else.
Hi Guys,
After replacing the lcd and digitizer on my S3, the display is appearing upside down?
The touch screen works as if it is the right way round, but the lcd is displaying as if it is upside down.
I've also tried another lcd/digitizer and got the same results!
Is there any way to solve this? Even if it involves using ADB or the likes?
Any help is much appreciated!
Thanks
software has nothing to do with this ( i believe ) ,you connected the display wrong .
Are you sure you bought the original display ?
Hello everyone.
I have a problem with my smartphone Sony Xperia Z2. I dropped it and the display broke. I bought a new display. When I connect he went crazy. He began to open the application, clicking like 10 fingers working on it simultaneously. Because I thought that the display is faulty, I've exchanged for a new one. But now even bigger problem. When I turn on him, he does not show anything on the screen except the backlight. Do you know what the problem is and whether anyone had a similar problem? So, when the smartphone turns on, lights up only the backlight but nothing on the screen showing a. At first, there is a lot of vertical lines on display, and once he just fade out, and from that moment display is blank only backlight working. I try to update software, but nothing change. Restarting, and turning off also nothing.
Please help me solve this, for me very frustrating problem.
anyone?

Did you ever get this resolved?
I had this issue after a screen replacement for a shattered screen. I was sure I had damaged something in the process (ribbon flex cable, motherboard, etc). Turns out the replacement screen was faulty. A new working screen solved the issue.
I have an Xperia Ray Running on LX CM13.1.
One day capacitive touch buttons started showing ghost touch continuously. I then restarted and capacitive buttons stopped working.
I then activated onscreen buttons and some days later they started showing ghost touch continuously. I then restarted device and that part of screen also stopped working.
With in a fews days ghot touch spreaded up and finally bottom half part of touchscreen stopped working.
I tried hard formatting and even I flashed stock firmware but didnt fix the issue.
As I know it is a hardware issue, Will I have to replace my entire display?
Display part is working properly but touch is irresponsive.
Thanks
It seems like the Ray has the display stuck to the glass/digitizer with LOCA adhesive, so yeah, you need to replace the complete assembly, unless you find some service center where... Nah it's not worth the hastle lol.
I replaced my Mini Pro's display a bunch of times. It's sad to see a perfectly working LCD display go just because of a broken glass/digitizer.
Hey guys, recently I had my Z2 sent to a service shop because it wasn't turning on or charging. The guy at the shop said that it was the battery fault and he changed it, but he also told me that the screen was not working( flickering, ghost touches, unable to work on it). So he put my old battery on and when I went home the phone actually turned on and booted up, but still I had the screen problem. So whenever I touch the screen it doesn't respond and it touches by itself. Tried putting it on rice for 20 hours, dried with a hairdryer and assembled dissamssebled the screen jacks, still the problems wasn't fix. Do I really need to change the whole LCD or is this a problem that can be fixed?

Yes, you have to change the screen, or more precisely, the digitializer.
But since the LCD and the digitialier come in one-piece, you have to change it as a whole, but at a much lower price, as your screen can be sold again and recycle the good LCD panel.

So replacing the LCD would fix the problem right? That's great then because I found an LCD with a very low price (20$), completely new on ebay and I sucessfuly dissassembled the old LCD out of the phone. I'm gonna buy it as soon as possible. Thanks man.
