Cm for sirius device is more better than aosp

AOSP is worse because of kernel 3.10, but I still choose it.

Can I ask why do you choose it over cm ? Is it faster or something?

Faster and more stable, and kernel 3.10. CM has some problems such as bluetooth connection or suddenly get soft reboot, or some crazy issues when your device works for a long time without reboot. And I think have no reason for trying a unlocked bootloader ROM with kernel 3.4.

That one uses kernel 3.4 so it's hard rock. You can find AOSP build from Sony source in fxpblog.co

That is not pure AOSP. I am telling about AOSP 5.1.1 by FXP team..
Fxp team aosp 5.1.1 is alright but its camera is really bad and the rom has several performance issues
I'd love to switch from stock to cyanogenmod but i keep getting random soft reboots
Aosp is harder to port but provides a faster and smoother aswell as a more pure experience
Cm is easier to port but same as aosp, if not done properly then its not worth

It's not right. AOSP is more easier to port but it's not popular as well as CM so there're less developers do that.

I know Rajeev, had to do it often enough
Although I prefer the dd method from inside the phone. (terminal use also is beginning to be quite annoying with selinux and noexec-mounts, by the way...)

Has anyone tried it? Are there any bugs? Is it any different than UmBreLLaTeaM SPAINTEAM one?
...and what kernel does it use?
Based on Chinese 18s.
Kernel Version 3.18.20
Thanks for the ROM!
I tested it briefly but switched back to stock 19S when I couldn't find the option to use volte.

Official CM builds, as CM doesn't officially support devices that don't have kernel sources. Plus there's more chance of getting newer android versions in the future.
Hello all my friends. I have com back and bring you Christian Kernel (previous as Chriszuma)
This is a beta testing, not for daily use, becareful when using.
In this verison, I only update for android N support, use newer uber 5.3, and overclock.
Please test and tell me if it work or not. Thank you so much

I'm sorry but I didn't read the title correctly. I thought it was for both otus and surnia but couldn't find otus' link. Then I realised it was only for surnia. Again I'm very sorry for the blunder.

It works. It boots at least. Over clocking does not really work though. Performance is better with normal stock frequencies.

Device:- XT1521
ROM: AOSCP 3.6
Any other module flashed:- No
Sent from my Motorola XT1521 using XDA Labs
I've been using this kernel since it came to us on both AOSCP and aospextended. I'm thinking the overclocking may have been counterproductive. Experiencing more lag than usual, even with animations off its obvious. I can't say it's hurt battery life though, at least. I haven't really gave er time to settle but little ole surnias chruning out the expected SoT's
I will update on weekend. Please wait
Pls build it for Otus coz otus doesnt have a single kernel to use. Its a humble request. @nguyenquangduc2000
can anyone tell me, when will i get android 8.0 oreo rom ? where to get it for surnia ? and if it doesn't exists

But if you're to eager to try Oreo out than Compile one & have fun as devs for this device are currently doing the same, please respect devs & don't ask for Oreo roms for some time

It's always wise to not flash any build that's unannounced by the developer.
I totally understand you're all really eager to get oreo but if you flash any zip without knowing, there are chances it can be a risky zip.
Anyone can just rename something to a ROM zip so that'll look attractive but can be malicious
