Left phone on TWRP. 10 year old messed around with it and went to advanced wipe and wiped everything including the internal storage. Now I have no Rom and USB debugging is not enabled. Can I still sideload? Any other way of getting a rom on my phone? Hopefully you bright people can help? Not an advanced user at all!
Thanks

Tried Nexus driver and Android composite driver and get error: device not found when trying sideload using mfastboot. Not looking good. Android driver does open up explorer and shows the phone's storage but it wont let me copy a rom accross.

Don't worry mate, just flash a Row with odin. You can download it from sammobile.com

Thanks. Tried that. Found the firmware but it failed at last minute. Am in download mode but Kies 1,2,3 and switch wont recognise the phone and Odin fails. So I'm romless still!

You don't need kies. It is a very simple process look:

Tried to install Line Runner after updating to ICS on my Galaxy S2, but got the message:

Anyone else noticed this? Did some searching and only workaround i've found is to unmount my sd card before i install the apps that gives me the error. Am not sure if this is a ICS issue, or some compatibility issue between ICS and the app maybe?
You rooted I'm assuming. This is being discussed in the cfroot thread. Unmount sd, install app, then remount sd.

I got same problem too, but i found a solution. Maybe it will help u.
1. stock rom with cf-root--> install fail..
2. After that, i flash back stock kernel with odin --> install success, but without cwm
3. Use Ktool to flash cwm5.3 ---> install success and with CWM now..

Hehe yea, found it, thought it maybe was a standalone tool for the PC, something like Odin
Anyway, that worked, flashed back to stock kernel, and flashed the cf-root kernel with ktool from the market, CWM reports correct kernel, and i can now download Line Runner without the error.
Though i am curious to what the problem is, maybe something weird with the flashing process and the new cf-root?
Hi Guys,
Sorry for asking, but I've been scratching my head and trying to get this sorted for a day now.
Did lots of searching, have plenty of info, but still no fix.
What I was trying to do was flash Nameless 4.4.3 rom..
I made a mistake of clearing/wiping all areas (div/cache/and SD card), so it wiped out the zip files I had copied across... Yeah, ok, so I make mistakes!
I had cwm on the P7500 , so flashed TWRP 2.6.3.0. That worked fine, and I can book and run install rom etc.
Since then, I can't get my P7500 to connect to my pc (or laptop). Both are running win 8.1.. In device manager, I get Other Devices -> GT-P7500..
I tried ADB Sideloader on the P7500, and adb devices on the PC, but with no driver, it's not showing any connection.
Can anybody help? I'm happy for any and all suggestions...
Sorry if this has already been covered off and there is a solution. I have seriously looked all day, but not found one (even downloaded the USB samsung drivers 1.5.33.0, but that doesn't seem to have helped, unless I've stuffed that up as well!)
Go to settings, select storage and in the 3 button menu on top select mtp and you should be good to go ☺

Try following the steps here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957423
Its not aimed for our tab, but its more or less the same steps.
Alternatively, you can also go to advanced in twrp and select adb sideload and sideload the ROM zip and gapps into your tab. In sideload mode, adb devices won't work, only adb sideload will.

Hello,
First of all, im sorry for creating a new thread for this very common issue.
the reason i decided to create a new thread is because i tried everything to solve this problem but no post on the internet was helpful.
so here it goes,
My brother has a galaxy S2 i9100 and it was rooted. few days a go he decided to factory reset the phone before unrooting the device first.
the phone then got stuck on Samsung galaxy S2 boot screen with yellow triangle at the bottom.
since then i have tried following but no method has worked so far...
1. downloaded Odin and the firmware file (tar/MD5)
2. i put the phone in download mode
3. i open Odin and only ticked Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time
4. clicked on PDA and selected the firmware file
5. after it finished checking the firmware in Odin i connected my phone and hit the Start button.
6. the process got stuck on boot.bin.
now, i have tried the above process with the following combinations,
3 different USB cables,
3 different Odin versions (Odin_3.10.0 , Odin3-v1.85 , Odin307)
3 different USB ports on My windows 7 ultimate X64 computer
2 different firmware files downloaded from different websites.
and restarted my PC several times before starting the procedure again.
The process always gets stuck on the same place (boot.bin)
i have also uninstall and reinstall the drivers.
finally i downloaded the Samsung Kies to avoid the driver confusion.
i also ended all the Kies processes from the task manager before running Odin as an Administrator.
i have also fully charged the phone few times and tried the whole procedure many times.
also kept the battery aside for few minutes before starting the procedure
somebody please help i have no ideas left anymore.
sorry for my bad english.
Thanks and Regards
You can try to include a PIT file in your upload to repartition internal storage. Also You can try to do the upload using Heimdal instead Odin. To use it you cannot load tar file directly but you have to unpack it to individual bin files. Have luck!

Thanks for the replay but can you please provide the correct links for the both files and the procedure ?
also i read somewhere that if the procedure fails after using the pit file the motherboard could get damaged !
thanks

What you're asking is Impossible.YOU CANNOT SIGN AN ZIP FILE WITH SAMSUNG'S KEY.Meaning stock recovery won't flash it.
