Hello
I am currently in a big problem. I just accidently wiped all my data. I didn't backup and cwm is not installing aokp rom. The boot screen only stucks to "Free Xperia Project" Logo and does nothing else.
I tried flashing ics firmwire again but it failed. I also tried pushing cyanogenmod rom to my sd card my it keep on giving no device error.
I dont know what to do now. Simply cant even explain it properly. Can someone help me please.
Did you try repair with SUS or PCC?
If you can still enter CWM or you even get a boot logo then your ok, it will be an easy fix.

PCC and SUS are not able to detect XPU because XPU is not able to connect to pc.
Yes I can enter CWM and see boot logo.

Enter cwm, connect the phone to the pc, open something like "mounts and storage">"mount usb storage" in recovery.
Copy the rom that you want to flash from pc on your internal memory, unmount usb storage and flash the rom :fingers-crossed:
Can you connect in flashmode? If so,flash stock ftf file.

Hi guys, so basically I installed a new rom on my Xperia U but I found another great rom but the thing is, I have to flash C10/B54. and I recently made a clean install of my W7, so I had to install all softwares again, so I installed flashtool and my flashtool driver, and everything was succesful.
But when I tried to flash a stock rom with flashtool and connected my device in flashmode I receive the following error :
"Drivers need to be installed for connected device."
I installed my drivers like 6 times and the installation was succesful but yet I get the same error.
It fails the first time.
1st.connect your device in flashmode then try flashing the ftf..
Press thnx if I helped.

Didnt work, tried it aswell :l
Try using different usb port
Just once or twice connect phone in flashmode and let windows install drivers by itself
Make sure ftf file aint corrupted or damaged while downloading
as for a fresh machine just install drivers and reboot the system and then connect your fone in flashmode and then let itself install drivers and then start flashtool and then proceed further....... and also try different USB ports as mentioned by sanket........
Hi I tried everything I can think of and still getting this error, anyone has some more ideas?

assuming u had the drivers installed in normal mode.. going in safe mode will prevent the driver installation failed error. try if the other method didnt work.

I am on Samsung Grand Quattro. I have a rooted device. My phone has cwm installed. I tried to backup my existing rom and flash a new one. the new rom was flashed correctly. But now my phone directly boots to cwm. I tried to reflash cwm but my bootloader is not recognized by my PCs. I tried adb to go to bootloader but phone boots only to cwm. Please help me reflash cwm using odin. :crying:
You can either use cwm to flash stock recovery and exit the bootloop or enter on download mode and reflash cwm
Did what u said

And about download mode, have you tried it? Do you know how to enter on this mode, right?
(BTW, are you calling "download mode" bootloader?)
Bootloader is accesible

It can be a problem with your drivers. Have you already installed Kies? This program provides drivers for your device, so Odin will be able to recognize it.
And, well... if you can't enter on download mode, I think you will need to have technical support

just saw ur post buddy. thanks for taking the trouble and helping me out. I fixed my phone just now. I charged it a little. Kept trying to go to bootloader. Once it started i reinstalled the drivers. Voila, bootloader connected. I immediately used odin to flash fresh cwm and my rom that i had already installed started working. Thanks!:good::victory:
I rooted my GT-i8552 and installed CW recovery mode with stock rom, and everthing worked well. When I factory resetted my device from security and backups, everytime the device is rebooting in CW recovery mode, no sign of OS, everything is gone, I think, because no matter I remove battery and restart device, it is booting into recovery mode only. So I tried to unroot and install stock rom using Odin, but in every PC I've tried, it is showing "driver installation fail" even after re-installing software properly.
So what to do in this case?
I want to install stock rom again.
Any help?
Thanks
If you are in CWM recovery, you can flash a zip file of any custom rom. If you aren't, you don't have other option than flash firmware with Odin. Ensure that your PC is connected and let it search on internet for drivers, and it shall be recognized... or install Kies, this program ships drivers for Samsung devices
Still booting into recovery mode

I tried to install this custom rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2557882
But it is showing me error E:unknown volume for path [/sd-ext] while wiping dalvik cache. After it shows successful wipe message.
When i reboot system after installing rom and gapps, it still boots into recovery mode.
What to do now?

You should pick another rom, this one is unstable and a lot of things don't work. Trust me.

Use Odin to reflash CWM, and tick the option "Auto Reboot". It will solve the bootloop.
