I have a Sprint Galaxy Note 3 that is stuck in a bootloop.
Whenever a battery is in, the phone starts up and reboots a couple seconds later, no matter what boot mode it is in. I can't get in to download mode or recovery because of this. Tried a different battery and that didn't solve the problem.

It restarts a couple seconds after booting no matter what mode I put it in, rather that be download, recovery, or normal boot. Does it as soon as the battery is inserted. Could the physical power button have some sort of problem?
if you have an external sd card, remove it. then try; they're notorious for causing weird issues.
I've also read in the past where people take out the battery for a day or so and it cures strange ailments as well.
Other than that, it sounds like a hardware malfunction. Download mode for sure should be stable as that can't be replaced b flashing or odin; sans perhaps loading the wrong device's OS.

My Samsung S3 is stuck! It keeps restarting!
It doesn't reach the enter pincode, but keeps restarting showing the "Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300" screen. Then cycles starts again.
Here are the things I've tried:
I have already removed battery, put back in; still the same result.
I have also tried to hard-reset, but it just turns off and restarts.
Same result when trying VOLUME DOWN + HOME + POWER BUTTON; goes back to restarting and the Samsung S3 screen.
It was working fine last night, but when I left to do something, I came back and found it restarting over and over again. Didn't update any apps.

No download mode then you require a service centre .
Looks like damage to motherboard .
I'm having the same problem. It happened last night. Phone just shut off and wont turn on. There is another post that just went up today and they are having the same problem. I have been able to get it to start up a few times it by continual pressing the volume and power.
Had the same problem and be able to start recovery after many trials. Some ones removing the battery

Has anyone made a tool/application that you install on your PC that forces the phone to boot into download mode? It would be great if anyone can come up with that especially for issues like this where the is stuck in a perpetual boot loop and you can't even go into recovery or download mode.
!!!! I found the fix for this!!!
I was experiencing the same problem. The quick easy fix for this is to do the following thing. Take the motherboard of the phone out and clear the power button by pressing it several times. Make sure it is not stuck. Then, put the motherboard back and power on the phone. The problem should be gone.
mine doing same thing but i can get in download mode thats all though
Well I was undervolting and underclocking my i9100 for a few months and it would suffer from freezes and stuff like that nothing much as I would be able to perform a hard reset and reboot with my phone completely working everytime that happens. However today, I just locked my phone after taking a picture and I could not unlock it after that. I pressed the power button and home button but the screen would not turn on. So i just took out the battery and tried booting the phone. It was stuck in a bootloop where the boot animation would just keep on playing. So i force shutdown it and booted it into recovery. I had CWM 6.0.4.6 installed and when i booted into recovery, it gave me the message it cannot mount something and cannot load last kmsg and blah. I took no notice and tried to format cache. During this point, the recovery hanged and i force shutdown my phone again. After which, I could never turn on my phone again. No splash screen no nothing. I think it is bricked. And yea btw my usb port is not working anymore and it can only be used for charging. And i was running cm11 infected. Can you all please help me thanks!
so no recovery nor download mode?
Sadly, no

Yep i cannot even boot into anything no splash screen no nothing pressed the power button for like so long i even removed the battery for 2 hours and popped it back in not working
Try this - take out battery, then press and hold volume down+home+power and put battery back without releasing buttons. This may get you into a download mode where you can flash stock jb via odin.
I had the phone on the newest PAC-MAN nightly, and I rebooted to my recovery (CWM 6.0.4.4) and flashed another recovery (TWRP 2.7.1) However, after I flashed it and went to reboot to recovery, it would not boot, simply vibrate until the first Samsung sign flashes, and then reboots. I cannot reboot into recovery, and trying to put it into download mode just does the same thing. Is there any way to someone force it into download mode so I can flash stock or anything? Thanks so much
I believe it's Volume up + Power to get it straight to download mode.
Your power button is stuck so it keeps resetting. Try flicking the back of your phone by the power button with your finger.

You're one of hundreds plagued with this problem. We should start a club!
Glad you're up and running again.
Hey! So in short I've managed to software brick my a20e.
As soon as you turn it on it goes to "an error has occurred while updating the device software use emergency recovery function in the smart switch pc software" but the device is not recognised.
So I did the logical thing of going to Odin, downloaded stock ROM anddd.. doesn't let me boot to download mode. I'm stuck on "an error occurred" screen.
Any ideas on a fix for this?
You can either drain the battery by just letting it boot loop/error screen then give it a little charge and see if it goes into download mode. Or see if it will go into recovery mode that would not require a PC USB connection.

K the fact Recovery is gone is kinda bad but the last time I bricked a phone it took me a while to get it into DL mode due to the button combo and make sure it has a couple of % of charge so if you get it stuck again you can boot loop it dry and try again. Also, consider if still possible to install TWRP and a custom ROM TWRP is more reliable in humble opinion for recovery.

As soon as I plug in a charger it turns straight on to the error, power+ vol up+down just reboots the phone back to error can't get to download mode at all.
I checked the combo is turn on then hold volume up + volume down + insert USB. I use this tool so I do not charge the phone: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32977246421.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.6dd94c4dMbXeKj
And the combo can be found here: https://www.hardreset.info/devices/samsung/samsung-galaxy-a20e/download-mode/
Hi
yesterday my tab s6 screen got unresponsible without anything else happened..
Then i found out that if i used the pen - the n i could turn it off from drop down menu.
I did that but then when i tried to turn it on it got stuck on that bootloop!
I can not access recovery mode - only download mode.
When i put it on charge it starts booting without showing battery percent and boots over and over until battery is drained.
In download mode i tried to flash Bootloader and firmware - but no luck ( odin proceduce succeded but the tab is still in the same bootloop )..
Still can't reach recovery menu..
Any ideas?
Recovery Mode is tricky to get to on this tablet - The timings of the button presses are difficult to nail. Assuming you weren't trying to flash anything to your tablet prior to it boot looping, I don't see any reason why you couldn't access Recovery Mode.
Reboot Tab by pressing and holding both Power (Bixby) button and volume down. Once screen turns off immediately press Power and Volume Up, let go once you see Samsung logo.

Have you done anything to your tablet prior to bootloop? Tried to flash anything, deleted anything?
Again, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to access Recovery this situation is exactly why it's there.

I opened NBA 2K Mobile and then i went away for like 20mins..
Then i opened the tab and screen was not reacting - only with pen.
I think the USB debugging is not enabled - is there any ways how to enable it without rooting?
Just tried to install a firmware through download mode - Odin shows "passed" and my tab is still in the same sh** ..:/

I cannot connect back to Odin also. Always setup connection failed.

UAE..
"setup connection failed" is a USB error. Try a different cable, or a different port on the computer, or a totally different computer
