ok...off lately some of u might have noticed me creating many new threads for various reasons for HOX+ international(INDIA).
This thread will sum up everything from the beginning: plz do read:
ok...so the problem started when suddenly my HOX+ got stuck in airplane mode (which apparently is a quite a known issue among HOX+ users). and my imei and baseband went blank. I was then on stock jellybean and unrooted.
In my endeavor to solve this thing, i decided to flash a custom rom to see if it would solve the problem.
So i flashed cm11 and cm12. I noticed that "stuck in airplane mode" was fixed but the imei and baseband still remained blank.
So my next mission was to fix that up. The only solution that I found on xda was to go back to stock rom as some of the members claimed that it does fix the problem.
So, first i searched for the RUU. I came across this:
RUU_ENRC2B_U_JB_45_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.17.707.1_Radio_3.1204.168.32_release_299722_signed.exe
But unfortunately, my hboot was 1.72 so using the above RUU gave the error 158 every time!
Finally i stumbled across this for my stock rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2512762
it worked like a charm and i was on my [upgraded-official jellybean] stock rom!
But my happiness was ephemeral. I noticed all the problems were back! stuck in airplane mode! no imei! no baseband!
So i have reached from where I started-only change I have unlocked my bootloader.
Here's my current HOX+ info:
Code:
(bootloader) version: 0.5a

Can anyone of u advise me what to do next!
any help would be grateful!
ps: i assure you no more new threads will be created by me unless absolutely necessary regarding my HOX+

I recently acquired an HTC One SV from Boost mobile to try to fix. The previous owner ran a tool meant for a different phone to try to root the device. When I received it, it was stuck at the HTC splash boot screen with a message on the bottom saying that this is for development purposes only. I have tried going into the bootloader and flashing every image that I could find of boot, recovery, and radio. I found images that were supposedly stock and it still does not boot.
Suggestions say to take and flash a RUU to the device. The only official RUU for the region (OTA_K2_CL_JB_45_S_Sprint_WWE_Boost_2.06.653.5-1.11.653.1_release_3244713ijuyqp8g1s0xuaw.zip) I could find does not flash with an error #12. I then tried to find a method to turn the device to S-off but cannot find anything that can be done when not booted into ICS. Does anyone know a way to turn the phone to S-Off within just the fastboot OR does anyone have a backup that will fit my phone using CWM or TWRP as I can boot into them. I also ran into issues with links not working such as the system.img file located in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292432

I'd guess you forgot to do a full wipe before installing this rom. So in recovery wipe /system, /cache and /data (don't wipe internal memory!) and reinstall the rom.
Full wipe done many times... cache+dalvikcache+data+system done
Hi Reaper,
Thx for the response..I have tried wipe many times ,it has not worked.
cache+dalvikcache+data+system
fix permissions done
Still i have bootloop ,this is the case with elegancia, ViperXL+, InsertCoin ROMs as well.
Currently one that has successfully booted is CM version lloir but have this baseband unknown issue.
Pls guide on this. I will owe you one.
Suspecting RIL issue but I don't know how to solve it.this can possibly done by RUU stock but I can't find it.

The above link is only one I have .but can't download 1.15. version

mmh... i'm sry, but since it seems you did all necessary steps i think i can't help here because i never encountered or heard of this problem.
the only other thing that comes to my mind is: how long did you wait for the phone to boot? first boot may take quite some time, shouldn't be more than 10 min though.
i only have the international one x+ and the site is the only one i know that contains RUUs for both versions of the phone. hope the download links will be working again soon.
good luck!
No probes buddy..anyways hoping others can help me..
Cheers..

Hi, as title states, i purchased a HOX+ 64gb which did not boot, tried factory settings etc etc and always got stuck, tried finding an RUU and could not find for my version....
Anyway, been reading for 2 weeks on here and tried a few various things to get it to boot.
All failed until Android Revolution.
I put a custom recovery on, think its Team Venom Mod of TWRP
Unlocked The bootloader following instructions on here HTC Dev.
flashed boot.img extracted from AndroidRev8.0 zip (did not flash in fastboot so used a script that allows to flash from recovery on this forum)
Flashed the rom from recovery, and brilliant, the phone loads up, wifi bluetooth all work, just IMEI is unknown.
I've tried a few other roms from here, and they all do the same, only thing i have not tried is nandroid backup, but ive not read about them enough yet to trust myself in what im looking for.
I will post fastboot getvar all shortly, but at present im trying a locked bootloader with an RUU i just found while writing this....
Any suggestions for me to try??

anyone can help me with this? or a link to an RUU that would restore to stock??
Hi All,
After around with my phone for many hours attempting to flash the latest android I have managed to break my WiFi, as I can no longer turn it on. I believe this is due to flashing an incorrect firmware file but I am not sure.
Currently I am running Android Revolution HD 30.1 but I also had the same problems with 4.X roms as well. My recovery image is: openrecovery-twrp-2.8.4.0. I was previously on 4.4.3 stock image which was rooted.

The last firmware file I flashed was: /db_mirror/Firmware/HTC/HTC_One_M8/401/3.28.401.9.zip (xda7.androidrevolution.org)
Any help with either what firmware to flash or another way to fix the WiFi will be most appreciated.
Just realised I have posted this in the wrong section, my phone isnt A&T I am UK based and I bought the phone SIM free. Unfortunately I cant seem the delete the thread...
I read in multiple places that you need firmware 4.16.401.9 for htc sense lollipop. For now try to use CM12 and see if your wifi works that way. If so then it is just a matter waiting for a signed firmware to get it to work with sense lollipop.
hello, i have been trying to flash my HOX+ international to stock rom using ruu-but everytime i get an error 158: IMAGE ERROR
saying that it cannot update and asks me to get the correct ruu.

i have relocked the bootloader.

any help?!?!?
stop spamming here and start reading faq-threads
I think it would be more helpful for you to create one thread and then post everything you've tried instead of creating a new thread for each issue. This would allow people to see what you've already tried and would keep all your issues together.
Thanks and good luck,

can u plz give the link to the thread....the thing is all the qts i find are for at&t phones and some telus phones........no posts for international HOX+
I know its annoying seeing so many threads by me, but the thing is my only phone is useless and I can't afford a new phone.
Every reply i get for my posts are like yours asking me to read the forums and frankly I have but no solution for the international version
