Hi guys,
my phone was of course rooted and runing Jelly Been (do not look at my signature).
I tried to flash last CM nightbuild on my phone puting the file directly from my PC into my micro Sd card (through an sd adaptator) and replug then the micro SD to my phone: OK
I entered into the safetrap and could select the file to run. But an error occured. I could not go back to the OS I was using.
I tried to select other options but nothing worked.
I also arrived to the green robot with exclamation point.
Then of course the battery was out.
Even by pluging it to the electricity it doesn't load battery but I can access to the boot menu (I guess) by pushing together power +vol up +down.

apply update from external storage (I can see all file on my SD. I tried also to put 9.8.2O-124_SPUEM-14_S7_USASPDRICS01RTFE1007.0R_USASPDRJBRTFR_P013_A014_p2b_S1FF_fb_CFC.zip in it and flash but it doesn't work. always stuck at the red motorola logo)
apply update from ADB (do not know what is it ?)
wipe data/factory reset (I did it to try but maybe I worsten my case)

Can anybody tell me what to do using the right option ?
I imagine that I could load a file into my micro SD and then through recovery install it and start again properly my Droid ?
I made a back up of my data previously so I can lose data on my phone. And anyway it is still on my SD.
Waiting for your kind help to reanimate the beast.

you wrote a lot but most of it is wrong, or irrelevant.
I dont think the firmware you posted, is an update. zip but must be flashed with a program like rsd lite.
firmware for the xt910 should be for the same carrier and region that was installed or it may not work correctly.

First off, I'll be brief, but I'm new on the site. I've been around looking at the forums here and there which helped me to previously root my Atrix.
I had intended to return this phone, but it's watermarked which sucks. Whatever, there's nothing I can do about it now. For fear of it not being returnable I decided to wipe the Atrix and unroot the phone. I first ran aRoot to unroot the phone. Everything worked to basic perfection unrooted. I deodexed back to 1.83 to get rid of GingerBlur, which it did. I did notice, however, that the phone would still boot into Tengar's CWM Recovery Mode when plugged into a wall charger while powered off. In a fit of absolute stupidity, I formatted everything that it is possible to format while in the CWM Recovery outside of my microSD card. Now when I reboot the phone it sticks on the "Dual-Core Technology" with Moto logo screen. No boot whatsoever.
After freaking out for a good hour or two I tried a couple of things I saw on this website because I can get into the general phone recovery (by holding down the volume button). All of them have been no-gos for me so far.
The recovery from a soft brick on the wiki gives me "Cold-booting Linux/ Reading ODM fuse: 1" when using Early USB Enumeration and sits on that indefinitely which takes out ADB. I can boot into Android Recovery mode, but, as has been noted on that topic, you can't load any update.zip files as the microSD card is not mounted. I also tried doing a wipe data/factory reset via Android Recovery but that's a no-go as well. On the bottom left it does say "E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command" in AR. I thought about flashing back to 1.83 or older using RSD-lite, but I get "Battery is too low to flash" every time when going into RSD mode.
Outside of these problems, my phone will turn on when plugged into a computer, but only to the same screen mentioned earlier and it takes nearly and hour after the charge has been (presumably) completed. The phone will not charge via USB wall charger - instead the phone turns on. I have no flashing red LED or any other warning messages nor can I turn the phone on without it being plugged into a USB cable.
When AR is run for factory reset:
.Performing BP clear...
.E: open mdm_ctrl ok
.E: bp status before bp power down 0
.E: (0,success -1, failed, 1, panick), return result: 0 after BP shutdown....

E: Successfully read 12 bytes.
BP clear complete successfully.
Formatting DATA:...
Formatting CACHE:...
Data wipe complete.
After which I let it reboot. It sits there at the logo, still, no matter how long I leave it plugged in.
As a side note, last I remember, my phone was set with USB debugging on and to be a Mass Storage Device.
Please, I'm desperate right now. This is going to be my only phone for the next two years, whether I like it or not, and I'd like to keep it (besides, I do quite like it).

i did not understand quite well your situation but in a desperate time this is what i would do:
to bypass the low battery, you need a usb cable:
open like the picture

insert the red one between battery and its connector on the phone (the + on the battery will tell you the correct "slot" ) battery needs to be correctly inserted.
plug to the pc
the phone will think it's fully charged.
then plug a normal usb cable to pc and phone enter rds mode and let the process begin, full sbf (not service) advised
let it go
Well, as helpful as that was, the cut-a-USB-to-charge trick didn't quite work for me. Might anyone else be able to help me? My phone is as dead as a door nail atm.
same here...
Me too, have a very similar problem, but not because of flashing ( I think so ) ..
Chronology : have use phone regularly with Froyo, rooted, no unlocked bootloader yet, no micro SD card ever inserted, can access internet with small download speed.
The problem arise (as per I remember correctly),
first, I install Calc-P (sideload from androiddev dot orkitra dot com) , install then use it, no problem ..
second, update Android Assistant from market, install and use, no problem
third, download then install Smart Taskbar (com.smart.taskbar)
download went fine, but during install, it takes like forever to finish, AND it doesn't!
unfortunately, my battery on that time was dried off, and the-install-takes-forever just died.
after a full recharge, I turn on, and used the phone ok for a while, until I realize there are some app (from market) that I don't regularly use, so I decided to uninstall it.It also, TAKES FOREVER with nice black&white rollover progress bar.
I think, something went wrong, so, panickedly, I turn off the Atrix.
And now, just stuck on Rethink Possible bootscreen, no where else.
-tried android recovery : no go
-tried android boot (no bp) : no go
-tried fastboot : no go
Someone, please, how to solve this.
Problem solved by wiping all data and apply pie crust (from navalynt) onto those already crispied gingerbread ..
This is a tutorial for those who are new to android OS and rooted their phones early out of excitement (most of you might have done that ) of getting to flash new ROM's, kernels and blah.... There might be a few terminologies you don't understand. If that is the case please refer to the all time android dictionary by Diablo67: Android terms, slangs and definitions
I posted the tutorial on my blog too, but I think it will be much appreciated if I post it here too:
If your phone keeps rebooting
If you've flashed a ROM and your phone won't boot into the home screen, it's probably because you forgot to wipe your data and/or cache. It's trying to boot into the ROM, but some leftover data from your last ROM is causing it to error out, and it'll reboot itself over and over again. If your phone's eating a big bowl of boot loops, your first course of action should be to wipe its data and cache, which you can do from recovery mode. This method assumes you're using ClockworkMod Recovery, like the majority of Android users, but if your particular phone uses a different third-party recovery (like AmonRA), you should still be able to find these options in the interface. They might just be in a different place. To wipe your data and cache:
1.Power down your phone. Turn it back on and boot into Recovery mode. This is a bit different for every phone, so you'll have to Google how to do it for your specific model. Usually it involves holding down another button, like Volume Down, as you turn your phone on. HTC phones will have to then select "Recovery" from a menu, while other phones will boot directly into ClockworkMod. You'll know you're in ClockworkMod by the words "ClockworkMod Recovery" at the top of the screen.
2.Use your volume keys to navigate the menus, and your power button to select menu items. Scroll down to Advanced, and choose "Wipe Dalvik Cache". When that's finished, go back to the main screen and choose "Wipe Cache Partition". Lastly, head to "Wipe Data/Factory Reset". This will delete all your settings and apps, but you should still be using the correct ROM.
3.Reboot your phone.
If Your Phone Boots Straight Into Recovery: Flash a New ROM
If, when you boot up your phone, it goes straight into ClockworkMod, then there's likely an issue with the ROM you flashed. Note that some ROMs boot into recovery mode automatically after flashing, so reboot your phone once from recovery mode to make sure you're having a problem. HTC users: if you boot up your phone, it might go straight into the bootloader—check to see whether you can choose "Recovery" from the list before continuing to the next step. HTC phones usually don't boot straight into recovery.
In this case, you'll want to reflash the ROM from scratch. Try again with the ROM that messed up your phone, if you so choose, but if that doesn't work, try an entirely different ROM. The best way to do this is to download a ROM from somewhere on the net and putting it on your SD card. You'll need to take the SD card out of your phone, and you'll need an SD card reader that you can plug into your computer. Here's how it works:
Plug the SD card into your computer. Drag the ROM's ZIP file to your SD card, and wait for it to copy.
When it's done copying, eject the SD card and put it back in your phone. Reboot into Recovery mode.
Use your volume keys to navigate the menus, and your power button to select menu items. Scroll down to "Install ZIP From SD Card" and navigate to the ZIP file you just copied over. Give it time to flash the ROM.
When it's done, reboot your phone.
Hopefully, your phone should successfully boot into the new ROM. From there, you can probably assume that the previous ROM that messed up your phone isn't going to work, and you'll have to find another ROM for now—or find another copy of that ROM that isn't corrupted. Remember to make backups of your working ROMs so you don't lose all your data!

3/4/15 NEW HOWTO ROOT & install TWRP on DL701Q/DigiLand 7" Tablet 4.4.2 KitKat
Ok, So you got your new Super Cheapo MTK8127 quad core Tablet from BestBuy or some other overpriced electronics emporium and want to install root and a custom recovery So it won't suck nearly as bad
Feeling hungry but don't wanna feed yourself??? Open wide......Here comes the airplane requesting permission to land
The Following procedure may "BRICK" your tablet and wipe your porn....You do so at your own risk, Neither Kneee or his lawyer claim to know ANYTHING about android....or anything else for that matter
THIS GUIDE WILL WIPE YOUR PORN!!!
If you've ever seen THIS:http://forum.xda-developers.com/chef-central/android/root-dl701q-install-twrp-touch-recovery-t2980339thread, You know that "iRoot/vRoot no longer works since updating to kitkat. I've BUNGLED my way into a solution, Hope it helps you too.....
THIS GUIDE ASSUMES YOU KNOW HOW TO USE ADB AND FASTBOOT (ENABLE USB DEBUGGING)OR AT LEAST KNOW WHAT THEY ARE AND DON'T SUFFER FROM GOOGLEPHOBIA
#1 Making a backup of this crap software when ADB , FASTBOOT and SP flash tool are working correctly is pointless (IMHO) (inm
Here's Everything you should need:
Stock ROM COURTESY...THIS DUMBASS https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9DmzLnUt5tuaUtJS1FHcjNyX1U/view?usp=sharing
ADB_&_FASTBOOT_executables, no need to install, just extract the .zip to the directory of your choice and execute openCMD.bat with a right click + run as administrator. it will open a terminal window, you can run all your ADVB & FASTBOOT commands from there:https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9DmzLnUt5tuM29vOTNHNEZya2s/view?usp=sharing
Driver installer & MTK_SP_FLASH_TOOL for MT8127 use this to install the drivers and flash the stock rom + custom recovery.img https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9DmzLnUt5tudVlrSEtzSE1tWHc/view?usp=sharing
UBIFS_Modified_CWM FOR FLASHING UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip COURTESY Vampirefo: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9DmzLnUt5tueC04RDFVX3plTVk/view?usp=sharing

STEP 1: INSTALL THE DRIVERS INSIDE THE MT8127 SP_FLASH_TOOL.zip" file you downloaded It will install the mtk usb vCOM driver we need for the mtk8127. if u have questions PM vampirefo. after that, turn your tablet upside down, FIND THE reset hole and jam the nearest tiny object in there until the screen does something different (like go black) release the reset button, hold VOLUME DOWN and plug in the USB cord and the tablet should be reconized as a preloader USB VCOM Port device under "Ports" in Device Manager

So, the necessary driver to save this POS is at hand. after it's done installing the tablet will probably reboot and the remaining drivers will install. (EVEN WITHOUT THE OTHER DRIVER YOU CAN ROOT AND FLASH NOW)
Fire up the MT8127 SP flash tool (run as administrator) you downloaded and you should see this:
Click "Scatter-Loading" and select the scatter file located in the stock rom folder you downloaded and unzipped (you DID unzip it right?) and click the "RECOVERY" FIELD LOCATED HERE:
and select the recovery image you downloaded called "UBIFSRecovery4SuperSu.img......yay, you should be all set up and ready to go!
Make sure youve already unplugged the USB cable AND hit the reset button. HIT THE DOWNLOAD BUTTON (the program is now waiting for your device...no rush) HOLD VOLUME DOWN AND PLUG IN THE USB CABLE, the computer will detect the device, the program will proceed to shove a bunch of ones and zeros down the the tablets throat and it will reboot (hopefully to a mediatek logo).
If so, youre not as stupid as everyone says when u leave the room
Toss "UPDATE-SuperSU-2.46.zip" on a microSD, Power off the device, shove the SD in his home and hold POWER + VOLUME UP until you get prompted to select either RECOVERY OR FASTBOOT, we want recovery so make sure it's selected and press VOLUME DOWN to boot into recovery & install your SuperSU.zip and reboot
once the OS is fully running, run TWRP.exe as ADMINISTRATOR in AUTO mode, TWRP recovery should be installed and u should still have root, if not, you'll need to go into advanced, then mount system before re-installing from zip.
NOW learn ADB and fastboot so I can save my breath next time:
PS, all your GAPPS are gone....quit *****ing, I've got em here: htpa_gapps-modular-micro-4.4.2-20140608-signed.zip(pa_gapps-modular-micro-4.4.2-20140608-signed.zip 85.3MB) & HERE: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9DmzLnUt5tuSl9lME9VZnFJTU0/view?usp=sharing(pa_gapps-stock-4.4.2-20140608-signed.zip 267MB))

Hello everyone,
I've used Mokee 4.4.4. Rom on my XT910. Then I decided to upgrade it Marshmellow 13. First I tried to install it via BMM then had error status 7. Then tried to set it up via Safestrap and I followed the instructions but install had been faild. Then restarted to device and surely no OP will run cause of wipe. I got error to install any OP as
HTML:
"E: failed to verify whole-file signature, E: Signature verification failed, Installation aborted"
via android system recovery 3e qe2/1. Now the device is wont work any OP and it doesn't turn off. Restart it self over and over.
Here my questions
1. How can I install and up to upgrade again to my device?
2. What does "qe2/1" means. I saw somewhere about root. But I was rooted. And if I need to root again. Which version root files need to be install? What will happen if I root it twice?
3. What will happen if I load to old files?
4. Is it about Kernel? Does any new kernel exist?
5. And what's your advices.
Guys I've less knowledgefor phone. Therefore I need your help. I need detailed explanation to unbrick it. Thanks again.
Regards.
UPDATE: Somehow now I can't reach recovery too. I've just reach AP fast boot menu (flash mode active but battery low, and doesn't charging). Can I send any of fastboot files or is there some file for my stiuation?
UPDATE 2: I've clockworkmod backup BTW. boot_3.0.8-g7198280 and cid_800EB95C-000600CC

you were using clockworkmod? not safestrap?
you cannot charge in AP fastboot mode or stock recovery
you cannot flash firmware with low battery
Booting from AP fastboot to charging mode
If the Device will only boot to AP Fastboot and it says Battery Low
Connect the phone/Device ato a Wall Charger (not PC)
-In AP Fastboot Mode hold Volume down& power buttons at the same time for +10 seconds
- When screen goes black...release power button
-Then IMMEDIATELY press and hold Vol - and Vol+ to boot to Boot Menu.
- In Boot Menu scroll down with volume down to BP Tools, press volume up to select
- Device should boot to Charging Mode with battery icon
- Once battery is charged, try flashing in AP Fastboot again
This will only work if battery charging Firmware is still preset and not corrupted
If Motorola Device will not boot to Charging Mode, a Fastboot cable will be needed.
What is a Fastboot Cable

Firstly thanks for answering
I was use Boot Menu Manager and backup cid via BMM. And then erase BMM and install safestrap on mokee 4.4.4.
phone is able to firmware flashing, at least its not warn at this stage. but I'm afraid to do that with low battery. Also thanks for charging trick but i've been tried that. It's not working for me.
PROBLEM SOLVED! I get factory cable and flash it
Ok i need some emergency help please: what i did:
Downloaded stock rom (exact version number of my Infinix Note 10i X659B) X659B-H696AvAw-R-OP-210330V152
Grabbed boot.img, placed on phone folder,
installed magisk apk, patched with magisk apk and put that patched-img to the folder in my PC.
Got minimal adb tools, used adb reboot bootloader to put phone on fastboot (saw fastboot screen on phone) did:
fastboot flash boot_a patch-boot.img
fastboot flash boot_b patch-boot.img
(renamed the file to patch-boot.img for convenience)
Now phone is stuck booting

i only see the "Infinix" start up screen, then a message: Orange State: Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted
Your device will boot in 5 seconds
to be fair that message appeared when i unlocked the bootloader, and beside the data wipe, the phone worked just fine
So where i think i screwed up is by installing it on boot_b too, (guide i followed said that i should also patch boot_b if my phone have a/b system (which it does, also magisk app also told me)
So what i can do? I cant seem to be able to put my phone down on fastboot again to try to patch either the stock image or reflash the whole phone. Or i just bricked my brand new phone? :'(
With Android having an A/B image partition layout the user-runable Android is that in slot A. Slot B is only used to temporarily store OTAs: When update process successfully ends then at phone's reboot whole slot B gets copied into slot A and finally device gets booted into updated slot A. My POV: It's always an idiocy to flash a patched boot.img to slot B.
To get rid off of all modifications you applied so far you're recommended to re-flash phone's Stock ROM.

How you can recommend i reflash the whole rom? I cant seem to find how to get the phone into another state. Volumen Up + Power does nothing, phone keeps trying to reboot.
Volume Down + Power does nothing either
Volume UP+Down+Power keeps the screen off, but i can hear windows connecting/disconnecting every 10 seconds or so. so how i connect it to, lets say, SP Flash Tools (considering is a MTK device)?
Well tried to do it with SP Flash Tools, but after trying to "Format All+Download" with all the checkboxes subsystems selected, i get a "auth file needed" error
Didn't find any of that in the firmware i downloaded :c
You need mtk bypass tool for that
