[Q] Problem with flashing rom??? HTC Desire S! Please help!

Hello,
I have a mayor problem with flashing my HTC Desire S.
I have S-Off and the phone is rooted (i have the superuser app and can allow superuser clearence).
But, when I flash a new rom it all goes well until I restart the phone. The the phone gets stuck at the HTC boot screen (the white one with the HTC logo).
I have tried Miui, CM7 and some Saga Rom. Both with Rom Manager and with a manual recovery. I have also tried Boot Manager without any result. When I flash I wipe the memory, cache and Dalvik cache.
The only thing to do then is to restore a backup and go back to the original rom.
So, please help me. What am I doing wrong. I have swiped the internet for answears without any result.
My Phone:
Android version: 2.3.5
HTC Sense-version: 3.0
Softwarenumber: 2.10.401.5
Kernel-version: 2.6.35.10-g9ac6c7a
Basebandversion: 20.4801.30.0822U_3822.10.08.04_M
Versionnumber: 2.10.401.5 CL156318 release-keys
Thank you!
How long do you wait (when it's at the HTC screen)?
At the most I wait for about 30 minutes.

Well you aren't doing anything wrong, so you'll just have to continue wiping data and flashing roms until one works.
Allright. Thank you. The strange thing is that the roms seams to work on other phones of the same model. What could differ from my phone?

Are you sure all the roms you are flashing are made for your device?
I think so. I have been downloading them from Rom Manager and XDA and verified that they are for Desire S or Saga. Could it be anything wrong with my HBoot version?

[q] htc desire sv root?

Please let me know if Desire X Root will work for Desire SV? Or if there is any way to root it?
Almost all HTC phones have the same rooting method:
1. Unlock bootloader using HTCdev.com website
2.Flash some ZIP files
Look on the Desire SV forums.

@Stereo8: Did not understand "Flash some zip files"
Could you tell me what are they and availability...
Can you be specific going forward, if possible..
@padu333: I struck my new Desire SV just by using Desire X recovery,
So, be patient until we get SV recovery images.
Could anybody give Desire SV root files and procedures
Thanks in advance...

Come on, there is no Desire SV forum yet, plus, he needs a working clockworkmod recovery for his device first.
There is a tutorial on making a clockworkmod recovery on this forum (link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1952935) OR go to
http://builder.clockworkmod.com/ and try to build one that way. The recovery image you need to use the site, you'll have to get from a ruu for your device (search for poster "football" in all forums and see if you can find the one you need)

i say better wait for the desire sv [dsv] forum to build up first. anyone who attempts to root or do whatever to their dsv should know the consequences of not having the resources to go back to stock or recover their dsv from problems that maybe faced.
a forum in general combines ideas, discussion from all over, which minimizes the ultimate chance of bricking your device way before you have even enjoyed it.
when will desire sv have a forum?
