ExtSDCard and massive storage access in CM 12.1 - Samsung Galaxy Alpha

Hi people,
Sorry for my english and my ignorance about the functioning of the forum (is my first post).
My question is if the CM12.1 project for Galaxy Alpha A5 includes the ExtSDCard access with apps and/or massive storage option connecting to computer with USB ( really anyone prefer the MTP option )
Thanks a lot

[Q] CM9 USB mass storage issues

This is a repost from the Q&A forum I've posted a few hours ago, so I apologize. I'm just trying to get as much insight as possible on the problems I'm facing.
Complete noob here, let alone first android device and coming from Iphone. After I got my first Android device; the Samsung Galaxy Note (I717) I opted to go for another operating system to enable the tethering feature. I was successful in rooting my phone, installing CWM, and successfully flashing my ROM to the latest CM9 ROM.
However, I have a few simple task that I simply cannot accomplish, they are as follows:
1. Computer can no longer see phone as a mass USB storage device. I have enabled USB debugging mode on phone through settings.
2. No music player app can see my music files I have loaded on my microSD card, of which I have manually loaded through the computer to the microSD card.
3. the gallery cannot see my pictures I have transferred into the SD card.
However, all these files can be seen and accessed only through the OI File Manager app on the phone.
I do not know what I am missing.
Can somebody help Please?
Thank you,
Jeff
I have a similar post in the Q & A, its not the ROM, I believe it has something to do with custom kernals\ICS OS and the hardward of the galaxy, I dont think its completely compatible, hence the reason samsung hasnt officially released it. Both times Ive flashed to ICS on my galaxy note, my usb mass storage abilities have been lost. I can no longer connect VIA USB either.
Hmmmm no problems here?
I have used all of the ICS roms released since the first leak, through all of the CM9 updates, hybrid tablet...etc. I haven't had any particular problems connecting my phone to my PC, unless I was using the 15 toggle mod....
All if the ICS leaks you have to go under setting - Wireless and Network - more - USB Utilities - USB mass storage...
On the CM9 ROM, when you connect to PC, you get a notification that you have to acknowledge, then choose USB mass storage...
Like I said, both methods worked fine for me, unless I installed the 15 toggle mod on the leak..
Cheers!
The CM9 rom is an unofficial beta build. It's very good for what it is, but you shouldn't expect a beta build to be an every day rom. I had issues with USB transfer too.
Here is how to connect your gNote with CM9 in USB Mass Storage mode:
Settings>Storage>Press the menu key>USB Computer connection>Check the box against "Mass Storage".
Now connect as usual...
Enjoy...

[Resurrection Remix 3.0.3] Activate mass storage mode.

Hello Everybody
I Flashed Resurrection Remix 3.0.3 in order to taste some brand new Jelly Beans.
Almost everything works, but when I connect my GS2 to my computer, I have only two choices of connection types : MTP or PTP.
I'm on Kubuntu 12.04, and it seems that only Mass Storage works in order to copy n' paste some files in the internal memory.
Is there an app, a mod or something to do to recover Mass Storage?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Sorry if I make mistakes, english is not my native language.

[Q] HELP - Cannot see internal & external SD card on Windows PC

Hello everyone.
This is my first post (edit: second!)
Recently this afternoon, I installed ArchiDroid 2.2.4 ROM and Boeffla kernel onto my Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300.
I'm really puzzled why I'm unable to see both drives. Previously while on Foxhound ROM, I was able to use both drives perfectly upon complete installation.
I'm no Android expert, but I found out that I can use TWRP recovery to manually mount USB storage (i.e. external sd) but the internal sd drive still won't appear.
Help would be appreciated!
EDIT: It's okay, problem solved. I realized my Nexus 7 (2013)'s driver was used instead of that of S3.

[Q] Samsung galaxy s4 usb mount (internal)

Hi Gods of the Internet - Please help!
Trying to help out a friend:
He has a Galaxy S4 (I9500) Android 4.3.
He took a video on christmas day - one that he cannot afford to lose, but then deleted it (like a professional noob )
Now he wants to try and restore it.
"Use any recovery software" - they said BUUUUTTTT Can only get the phone to connect in PTP or MTP modes, which cannot be used by the recovery software.
So I put on TWRP for the guy but cannot mount as USB (not sure if this is what that functionality is actually for anyway).
In short, If I can get the phone to connect as a USB mass storage device (Internal SD card NOT EXTERNALSD) then my problem will be solved - anyone know how to fix this?

[Q] [ROM] [4.4.2] CyanogenMod 11.0

Hi,
I installed the final build of CyanogenMod 11.0 from here for my Archos 80 G9 and I have a little issue : I want to use the Internal Storage instead of the sdcard1 when I connect my tablet to my computer because I haven't one.
Sorry for my bad english and thanks in advance. Have a nice evening !
To explain better : For example with this final build, when I use Cyanogenmod File Manager it sends me to the external sdcard folder instead of the internal storage folder. And when I try to connect my tablet to my computer, I can't access to the content of my internal storage. @Quallenauge I need your help please.
Thanks.
