Does anyone know if there is an iGo tip that will work with the G Tablet? Apparently we need a 12V 2A 1.7mm center positive tip, but there is no way to search like that on the iGo site. They only want you to give them a product model number, and they give you the required tip.
Just wondering if anyone has any insight on this.
Thanks
I've got a bunch at home from over the years. I'll see if I can find one that fits.
I took a look at my various connectors I had lying around and it looks like the PSP connector fits. Its the older model PSP and it's center positive like the gtab. I have an iGo as well but my model only goes up to 9V and 1.5A so I can't test, its model 23-1401. Hope that helps.

iGo Netbook Charger in Office Depot Clearance
I found my local Office Depot had the iGo Netbook Charger in the clearance section for $9.99 which contains the 212 tip that fits the G Tablet. I've tested it out and it charges the tablet. It features a USB plug to charge from for other devices.

Such an excellent find for US buyers.
This is the basically the same wall unit selling at it2steve's (+ and additional auto/air cables).
http://electroniccrap.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5_12&products_id=4
The least I could find this on ebay was $23 (shipped) the wall version is $16 (shipped).
Just ordered one,
Thank you again,

IGO tip for Viewsonic MORE INFO NEEDED
OK, So I have an old 130w IGO, and the 212 tip only fits the 90w version (I need what is called an S series tip)... anyone figured out which of them it is? I would like to not have another cord and transformer to carry around..
Warning about the iGo 212 tip
According to my digital multimeter the iGo 212 tip is NOT the correct tip to use for our G-tabs. The 212 tip according to the iGo charts is for HP and Compaq laptops and they most likely use 19V DC, which is also what my meter says that tip is outputting.
Our G-tabs require 12V DC and you are seriously going to mess it up by using the iGo 212 tip when it is outputting 19V DC.
My understanding of the iGo system of tips is that the different number tips are "smart" and not only provide the correct size connector, they also allow outputs of different voltages.
The iGo 401 tip on the same adapter outputs 12V DC which is what the Asus eeepc 1000 requires and the 401 tip states it is for the Asus eeepc netbooks. So the iGo adapter IS outputting different voltages when using different iGo tips.
Bottom line: DON'T use the 212 tip for your G-tab. The voltage output is WRONG!
The clearanced iGo that is being sold at Office Depot comes with 4 tips; 212, 207, 206, and 401
212 is 19v and fits
401 is 12v and is to big
206 is 19v and is to big
207 is 10v and is to big
I have run my g-tablet on the 212 for several days with no issues, but now knowing the voltage difference will stop using it.
My free gifts for pre-ordering Note 8 in Thailand have just arrived. I received:
AKG S30 Bluetooth speaker
Samsung Protective Standing Case
Noris digital stylus pencil (only for those purchased and still own any previous Note series)
People who preordered also received 6-month brand new sealed unit replacement warranty (which I already used for defective mic), and free 1-year accidental screen damage warranty.

Here in denmark i just bought the phone and no xtra came with it ?
Hi
I purchased a Tab4 10plus with a bluetooth keyboard case. One of the plastic clips that holds the case to the table broke the second time I used it. I have gone over the Lenovo website carefully and can't figure out how to file a warranty claim. Does anyone have information on how to file a claim? The website seems to be structured to discourage claims.
Thanks
John
Finally got hold of support for the keyboard case. They offered to sell me a replacement at full price. Claimed it was abused and that was the best they could do. I intend to send it back for a refund. This will be the only and the last Lenovo product that I purchase.
I have the keyboard case for 6 months, that plastic clip wouldn't break easily, but I think you could buy a replacement unit for around 10 bucks, why not search on eBay ?
Hey Folks, I damaged my Mate 20 pro recently, the front screen (glass only) is cracked and so is the rear cover. Im not sure how much it will cost to fix it including labour but I thought I would try and source the parts first. I don't trust the small phone shops as they might fit an unofficial screen glass So where can I buy genuine parts in the UK, The Huawei site is too expensive to it needs to be from a recommended stockiest. Many thanks
Hi, you are going to have to replace both glass and oled display. They are fused together and not individually swappable.
AliExpress do service packs:
#Aliexpress £76.22 38%OFF | Original 6.39'' Display with frame fingerprint Replacement for Huawei Mate 20 Pro LCD Touch Screen LYA-L29 Digitizer Assembly

Whilst i cannot promise its genuine, they say they are an official seller so if it comes and its a load of crap, you could get aliexpress to refund. They don't get paid until you confirm delivery.
The 'estimated' delivery is usually crap, I get things in 2-3 weeks max usually.
Obviously the discount has a 'risk'.

Ok many thanks for your reply. I will give it some thought. It may make more sense to buy a good used device and sell mines for spares or repair. Something i need to think about, thanks again my friend
