Are the drm keys in the ta partition specific to the device?
I have done some flashing my old tablet to a new one and have lost access to my front camera.
I have a backup of the old drm keys from the old tablet that I can restore if it will work.

Drm keys are device specific. If you restore them to other device you will hardbrick it.

i'm trying to find a way for the ones who unlocked their phones from the official method (like myself) to download music info via their walkman.
but i need someone who used test point method to upload their drms so i can pack them.

Sorry mate,once bootloader is umlocked using official way,the DRM key automatically gone...you can't restore it...

yeah...u can use mp3 editor to edit your mp3 tag
Would sony detect it when someone unlocked the bootloader but relocks the bootloader and recovers the TA (including DRM keys)? Because when you unlock your bl you have to get a key from sony website but are they actually saving who used unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com
I just wanted to ask because I am thinking about bootloader unlock but I don't wamt to loose the warranty of my phone.
I've requested an unlock code from sony months ago, but I haven't unlocked BL yet, but I've made a TA save. So if I take my phone to repair now with original, unlocked BL, they can't say that it is not under warranty. So requesting an unlock code not yet ends your warranty. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say and why
Never mess with Ta..btw sony service center won't know if lock your bootloader after unlocking it..and all rd and noobs be careful on Ta..it may brick your device

Nah.. It will not brick your phone but only do it on stock rom not on custom one...

You can restore your ta in stock Rom with boot loader locked otherwise hard brick. And always restore in stock Rom from which it is backed up..and my advice never play with ta.. To get working be and music info you can get from xda forums

You don't need to unlock bootloader to flash stock ROM.

Used towelroot to root and restored my apps using Titanium backup
Lost root after restore and towelroot doesn't work anymore

you're doing smth wrong, basically i did what you wrote, and everything works flawlessly.
Nvm, I reflashed the ftf, rooted and made sure no system apps where being restored with titanium backup. So far it's maintaining root.
