Where can I get a genuine or atleast reliable stock or slim battery for the g3? Went to amazon and saw some people saying it didn't work, battery life was horrible, phone shut off because of fake battery, etc. I got my g3 from craigslist (as I do most my phones) and it came with a 6500mAh extended battery which is great (I mean its outstanding) but I wanna get the stock look and feel. Also a battery door with nfc. I have the att version so ik qi charge wont work but I want nfc for payments. If you could please attach a direct link so I can purchase.
Lol no one? I'm certain someone has had to replace one of these before
Well then...
Bump
I bought this one from ebay (stock LG battery that works great):
http://ebay.to/1jW1ppG
and this back cover:

nfc and wireless charging works.
Polarcell batteries are great.

I have a friend that works at AT&T and he just sent me a pic of this product they just got in. It is a spare battery charging system with the spare battery included and it is listed at $49. It is on the AT&T website just Google "spare battery charging system galaxy note at&t" and it is about the 6th one down.
(Sorry I'm a noob and can't post links.)
Does anyone have this? Is it worth the buy?
Here's the link for the assist....

personally I'd buy something similar from amazon or ebay before I blow $50 on a charging solution...
OEM original is a huge ripoff!
I bought this, 2 battery with battery charger for only 14.99$ !
I used this battery for 3 days now (I charge it nightly when I go sleep),
and I can't tell the different between this cheap battery and OEM original!
this cheap battery lasts just as long as original OEM!
the battery also weight the same as original, it's possible the battery made by the same company, just a different label.
battery charger works on AC and on car with microusb charging!
I highly recommend it!

The product has been in stores at launch date of the g-note, don't know why your friend's store just now receiving it. As for the item, it does what its design to do. Just make sure to connect it to a charger with more than 500mA or else it will be an all day process. I wouldn't and didn't pay $50 for this product.

If you want the OEM one order it from amazon instead. I bought mine for $30. Better off saving the $20 + tax vs buying it in store, you can pretty much buy 2 for the price of one.

I appreciate the responses everyone. I think I will stay away from it now and look into some other power solutions.

Update us later to see how the batteries hold a charge after some use. Seems like a really good deal
Not that I'm questioning u and ur after market battery, just heard a lot of bad things about non OEM batteries. They may be cheaper but they don't last as long as the OEM ones even if they are larger mah batteries

not all non-aftermarket are junk.
I used to have aftermarket battery for Sony x1,
that battery rated the same mAh as OEM
but battery is much lighter and doesn't hold that much charge.
this aftermarket battery for note is heavy, weights the same as OEM.
I have been using this aftermarket battery for 4 days now, it lasts the whole day
I have no need to swap to the other battery. (I charge phone nightly when I go sleep)
I wish someone would make a charging solution that would work with most cases...
So my OEM Samsung battery is about junk. Wondering what people suggest to get as a replacement and why?
Im looking for something that fits the stock battery cover. I had one of those 4400mah batteries but the cover that came with it didn't last long and there was no case that fit it well.
So what does everyone recommend?
I have 2 anker batterys, and while they both work and have about the same longevity of the stock battery, I encountered 1 issue. One night I left my phone on the charger with the anker in it and woke up to find my phone almost too hot to touch and the overheat symbol on screen. I ripped the battery out, and it was swollen to about 1.5 times the thickness of normal. The phone and battery still work fine, but id rather buy a different brand next time. That's my 2¢ if it helps any.

The case comes with all korean version smartphone within the package, as most korean smartphone comes with 2 battery as standard, you can also get it with a purchase of a spare battery, but will depend on which country the battery is sold from.
call samsung cust. support, tell them you lost yours... maybe they'll send you one for free or a small fee. if you can't find it from any online outlet, just call a place that you know has them, and ask. if it's something simple (say a battery case), i usually say i lost it, and the rep is sometimes nice and sends me a replacement at no cost.
yes you get with sammy battery and charger kit
I personally would not lie to get something for free. Thats just downright wrong.
The case comes with Samsung batteries. If you buy a Genuine Samsung battery it comes with the case.
You can try on Ebay which is full of those plastic covers. And they are cheap too.
Hey Folks,
Have a G3 on the way to the house (replacing the Flex) and want to have a case ready when it arrives.
So cpl questions that hopefully somebody has some insight to:
Better to have an extended battery (w/large case) vs. several backup/spare batteries?
If extended, has anybody had experience with PowerBear brand?
Any chance that there is a wallet type case that would accomodate the phat battery?
Thanks for the feedback.
I dont have any extended batteries so I cant really comment on how they perform.
But I dont like the added weight and bulkiness of the extended battery, unless you're going to be putting your LG G3 in a bag, then I guess its okay.
But if you're going to carry it in your pocket, then im assuming that extended batteries aren't exactly pocket friendly.
What I have right now, are 2 additional batteries and the LG G3 battery charger.
Plus I have a 18,000 mah power bank.
So when my main battery dies out, I have 2 spare ones, I'll just replace it, then throw the depleted one in the LG G3 battery charger and charge it using my powerbank.
I just usually leave the charger in the car or inside my bag, and just carry the spare one.
So 1 battery is in the phone, 1 battery is in my pocket and the other battery is in the LG G3 battery charger which is being charged by my power bank.
I have a spare battery charger that I charge in the office. When I get into the office I swap in the full battery.
This has worked great for me and I hardly ever have to worry about running out of juice.
The only caveat I have to point out is the strain the backplate takes from opening and closing the phone daily.
After about a year of opening and closing the thin plastic plate some hairline cracks have appeared around the area of the NFC antenna.
Even you have extended battery, eventually you have to charge it. At that moment, you lose your freedom.
Good, now I have a spare battery charger
Where to buy new original battery and charger?

I've bought mine at MPJ. The shipping took long but I'm glad to have 3 batteries! Really a great option!

I'm looking at buying this battery. How protective is the case? Or is it just a back cover ?

For the 2 batteries I've bought (see link) you don't need to change the back. They fit with the normal backcover...
For the bigger battery you'll need a special backcover, I don't have experience with this one..
I prefer the spare batteries because they don't add bulk to you phone, when a battery is dead you pop in another one and you're good to go
Hi guys,
due to shut down problems (which probably I'll discuss in another thread) and a "not excellent" battery duration, I want to buy a Mugen one (https://mugen.co/mugen-power-3100ma...s985-t-mobile-lg-g3-d851-at-t-lg-g3-d850.html).
Can you tell me if it supports NFC and wireless charging? Nobody won't to specify... nor the buyers!
Thank you.
Afaik wireless charging and nfc are dependent on the battery door..as far as u use the original battery door that has nfc and wireless charging circuit it should work.

I don't really believe in those capacity inceases...
IMHO a few spare batteries are a safer bet, you'll have to change the battery along the day but I have a better feeling with this batteries (thanks to all those explosion and overheating issues you read)
