Same issue, Google account gets stuck during browser sign in
I have the same problem with my recently repaired (and factory reset) Samsung tablet. I am prompted to sign in using the browser and I get to the same My Account page as pictured above. But after following all the links and doing the various checks, there is nothing else to do. When I hit the device context menu, I'm given the option to exit the browser sign in, but nothing else. Any help would be appreciated.
Samsung Note 10.1 2014 Edition
I figured out my tablet's problem
My tablet was unable to finish the sign in process with the Google 2-factor authentication enabled. I hope that this helps @supakwong or anyone else who encounters this problem.
Solution: I went into my Google account settings and turned off the 2FA and then tried adding the Google account to my tablet again. The sign in process immediately worked and didn't require me to sign in using the browser. After making sure I could access things like the Play Store, I turned the 2FA back on.
After turning the 2FA back on, in tablet required me to log back into my Google account, but this time it worked great.
Ugh. This is ridiculous. I was hoping there was a better solution than turning off 2-factor, because all my application specific passwords etc will need to be redone.
And... there's our answer. Just create an application specific password and use that to set up your account on your device. Worked like a charm for me. No removing 2-factor.
It's seem happen to not specific phone, I got this problem too.

Hi everyone. My Nexus 7 upgraded yesterday to 4.2. Everything is running correctly except that all of a sudden, last night, I could no longer access Google+ or Google Messenger; instant upload (which goes to G+ stopped working); and none of my apps will update. When I try to refresh Google+ I get the following message:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Hitting refresh only returns the same message. I tried logging out and logging back in and it will not take my log in. Instead I get an error message telling me that G+ is unable to connect to the servers. I checked my internet connection and everything is working correctly. In fact I have no problem accessing Gmail, calendar, youtube Drive, GVoice, Etc (all on the same account).
When trying to update apps sitting in the update list, I get the following error if I try to update them individually:
If I hit update all, all the updates fail with the same error:
By comparison, I'm not having this issue on either a Galaxy Nexus or a Transformer Prime, both running 4.1 (they both continue to work correctly).
I'm at my wits end and short of doing a factory reset and hope that fixes things I have no clue what could be going on. Of course trying to find someone to speak to at Google is like finding hen's teeth. If anyone could advice I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Wow, really helpful. This is why I hardly post here anymore. You ask for information and some numb-nuts always has to answer with something stupid like "just root it".
I was actually wondering if you have root, I will never encourage people to root when a problem can be fixed in a different way. Upgrading to 4.2 doesn't have to mean that you did it using stock-software.
Found a fix (no thanks to AmeesingNoob). I had to purge the Nexus 7 of all the Google accounts (Settings -> Accounts -> Google Accounts -> select the actual individual account(s) -> open settings menu -> remove account). You can remove all the accounts and your device will still function. Now make sure you are on WiFi and add your Google account back: (Settings -> Accounts -> Add Account). once you do that several Apps (mainly Google ones) will prompt you to allow access. once you get past that, everything should be back to normal - no need to do a factory reset and no need to root.
Hi guys, i'm just a newbie on android phones and rooting phones, recently I have just bought a SGS3, and I have rooted it following the instructions on a thread on CF-auto root, and I have successfully rooted my phone, and I used an App called Freedom, which enables me to buy golds or coins in apps for free, and after awhile, I unrooted my phone, but after that, I cannot access Google Play, it says no connection, I think I was caught by Google Play for buying golds or coins for free. I have unsyncing my account, and creating a new one, but when I create new accounts or logging in, it always says "can't establish a reliable connection to the server. this could be a temporary problem or your android device may not be provisioned for data services. if it continues, call customer care." BTW, I have checked my connection, and it works properly. Can anyone help me with my problem? Thank you
reflash generic firmware
Try to go to Tools-> Applications-> google play-> clear data, then delete account from accoun and sync, reboot and re-create account

Sent from my muffin LIFE! Under maintenance.!
I just upgraded from an LG G4 to a G6. I set the phone up as a new device and did not do a restore from the G4 or from any other device. I installed my apps one-by-one.
Just recently, the phone started playing the default notification sound and I am unable to determine what app might be triggering the sound. Is there any way to determine what app is triggering the notification? Is there a log somewhere?
The attached file is a screen shot of my notification shade.

Hello
as a first step i would recommend a cache cleaning:
From the home screen, tap Apps.
Tap Settings
Tap Storage
Under device storage tap Internal storage
Wait for the menu options to finish calculating
Tap Cached data > clear
Wait for the cached data to clear; depending on size, it will take several seconds to complete.
Reboot device
=============================================================
Goto settings > accessibility > Turn off notification reminder. -if enabled-

Hangouts and Gmail are reported to cause this problem please check your gmail inbox incase there are new messages coming to you each time this happens as well as Hangouts if you are using it.
I suspect it's something to do with "location services" "... we've located you...."

Yes, but since it happens intermittently I don't know if this resolved the issue.
Hello,
When you first open a new phone ( in my case galaxy s8+ ), you are prompted to enter your google account.
if you have a backup you'll get the following screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
In case you chose not to enter a Google account at this stage, and you decided to do it later, you won't get this option.
for example, you will be able to sync contacts if you enter a Google account later, but you won't be able to restore your applications or call history.
I couldn't find inside the settings how to perform this special first-run syncing. is there a way to perform it without factory reset?
Maybe sending an intent with ADB to the app that is responsible for it?
Thanks,
Ana

There is a option in Google drive app to manage device backup, I think you can restore it from there, not 100% sure but I think I saw an option like that on the app.

Sorry but I don't think you can without resetting your phone, or at least I have not heard or read about anyone restoring from drive without resetting. You can install apps from the store and restore the app data automatically after installing, I think the option is in the backup and reset section in the settings menu of the device.
SOLVED
nvm
This will not give you the opportunity to make a full backup, but it will partially allow you to get into the cloud and save your data. I was able to create a backup on the Honor 50 and after that I restored it on the Huawei tablet.

1. Naturally, you must have Huawei HMS Core services
2. Perhaps there should be a frame
3. Install this version of the cloud (you can't update, only it works)
4. After installation, immediately open and give all permissions except geolocation (I gave it to it, but it seems to me that it interferes)
5. To log in to the cloud, you have two options
1: Through the button in the curtain
2: Installation Manager tab in AppGallery
6. Two buttons do not work, "Settings" and "Memory Management", you should not touch them - the cloud flies out of control
7. We saw the cloud, but they don't allow us to make a backup, the program writes an error both during recovery and when trying to create a backup, the "System Dispatcher" prevents us from doing this.
8. In developers, we set to allow debugging and debugging only when charging. Install ADB AppControl on the PC, connect the phone through it and remove the ADB "System Dispatcher".
9. After the backup, the dispatcher must be returned, without it we lose battery control, etc.
The data is saved only partially: contacts, messages, photos, videos and some programs. I can't save the settings because the dispatcher is turned off. I'm sorry, I'm writing through a translator, I hope it's clear.
Hey there I'm trying to install the cloud app into my honor 50 but I'm always getting this error. Do you have any idea what is the conflicting app? is a while that I am trying to figure it out but I am unable. T

I had a conflict if I tried to install "Files" from Huawei first. If you did not install this, then try to install from a third-party file manager, I put all of the X-plore.
