Hi all,
Someone has rooted my s6 edge (Android 5.1.1) for me. How can I know if the rooting process tripped the phone knox or not? Is there any simple method?
Thanks,
Ahmed Kassem

Just boot into download mode by holding volume_down+home+power and look for knox warrenty void. It doesnt mean its void its just the name. If it says 0x1 or 1 it is void. If it says 0x0 or 0 it is not void.

Also push up when it asks you. To leave download mode hold vol up+vol down+power until the screen goes black then let go and the phone will boot normally

In Kinguser there is a option to unroot.
Some devices cannot be updated even after you unroot, and you will need to reflash stock...
thanks and will it have no knox tripped? so i can have still warranty for the device
and how can i reflash the stock must i install custom recovery or something or can i do it in the official recovery wipe everything and go to bootloader

You can reflash it.

You can just reflash it with Odin and it's very easy to do. And it will not wipe your phone a reflash.
Btw there's a thanks button

Hi Everyone! I received my Redmi Note 5 on Wednesday and tried unlocking the bootloader. Unfortunately, it got the point where I cannot access my phone at all. When I factory reset it and start it up I cannot log into my MI cloud as I get an "Access Denied" error message. If I try to log in on account.xiaomi.com I get "Too many login attempts" since Wednesday evening. I read in the ToS that they can block my account for 24 hours (possibly this happened), but more than that has passed. I emailed Xiaomi support 1,5 days ago, but still waiting for a response. Any idea how I could use my phone or change the mi account?
Thanks for any help!

Unfortunately, I was trying to unlock the bootloader without having to wait 360 hours, but due to the many accounts changes my MI Account was locked along with my phone. I am waiting for Xiaomi support to get back to me....
Is there any way by which we can remove the irritating warning showing device as unlocked during boot with device actually unlocked. For e.g for older Samsung devices with unlocked bootloader the warning/counter was being reset using an app called Triangle Away, in MI/Xiaomi devices, this warning(not warning though, but showed device as unlocked), could be remove by simply flashing some splash.img file, the splash maker of which was available at xda.
Don't we have anything similar for Huawei P20 lite (ANE-AL00 C675 variant)? As far as I know, splash.img concept is just for Qualcomm/SD devices, but our device has Kirin chipset. So things might be different for Huawei P20 lite.

I need to send back my Honor 9 for reparation.
The phone has been rooted in 2017 with the Magisk method, bootloader is unlocked, TWRP Recovery is installed.
It looks like there are many tutorials to root the phone but I didn't find one to completely revert it to factory settings.
Thanks in advance
Still on nougat ? B1xx ?

hardware problems ?
Attached the specs.
The problem is that a little portion of the screen is burnt.
Ok great.
-I don't remember quite well if using STF-L09C432B130 service repair firmware in Firmware mode will lock again your bootloader and bootloader FRP.
-I'm quite sure the russian scripts for honor9 will lock again your bootloader after flashing STF-L09C432B120 or 130 in fastboot mode ; at least the 2017's version of these scripts.
