Hello,
I have received the update on my Nexus 9 yesterday and installed it. Thats android 6.0.
Around the end of the installation I got some error, but it didn't suggest anything that I can do so I just rebooted my tablet.
Since them I'm stuck in a boot loop, around 8 hours. Any ideas what I should do?
The device has never been rooted and is with locked bootloader.
I have the same issue for almost a week now. There doesn't seem to be a fix besides contacting Google or HTC to see if they will replace it.

I downloaded the update and phone stock recovery opened and then android with exclamation mark came. I restarted phone but it stuck on boot loop. I didn't install any recovery like CWM/TWRP or didnt flash any rom. Just rooted the phone. Any help guys?? My device is MediaTek 6582 and now recovery is also not opening.

I visited the service center today. They are telling that Rom is corrupted, so we have to change the motherboard. They were saying that they will possibly deliver in 4-5 days.
They told me may be a software issue if resolved then will give by 2-3 days.
What I feel is the Chinese rooting software curropted the recovery and thus its not going to recovery also. So that may be the issue however unless someone posts how to flash the recovery we are helpless
hi all, just got phone today, I know it's 2 notes behind, but this one was affordable, I have read and searched for 3 hours and no luck with root. Odin want recognize my phone, I've been rooting and flashing ROMs for 7 years, and I have never encountered this issue with Odin. But this also my first time using Odin with windows 7. Hello guys!
After many weeks of attempting to update my LG G Stylo LGLS770 to 6.0 I am not able to! My provider is Boost.
About a month or 2 ago I attempted in rooting my phone by using KingRoot...after a week or 2 I removed this root from my phone, but it seems that there is still something indicating root.
Can someone explain to me? I have factory reset my android phone over 4x. Once I get the update for 6.0 I install it..it goes into installation mode but after about 15 seconds the android shows up laying down with "error" underneath it. It will not update! I have received the update option again but I will not install it because I know it will not be successful. Can someone please help? Maybe my phone is soft bricked or bricked. I'm I the only one experiencing this?
Open to all suggestions...please! Thanks in advance!!
I updated my Moto G 2015 (Model # xt1550) to Marshmallow from 5.1.1, and after the completion of update I saw the touch screen wasn't responsive. NOT AT ALL! I was stuck on home screen. I'm briefing the steps I took to get around this problem:
1) Downloaded and flashed stock 5.1.1 but it gave me a "Verification signature failed" error.
2) Contacted Moto and got a link to the original 5.1.1 firmware. Couldn't flash as I kept getting "preflash validation error"
3) Did some reading about this and realised I had to unlock the bootloader to get rid of that error. Contacted Moto for the unlock key (they said I'd void my warranty if I unlocked the boot loader which is surprising because I can't find any other way out of this and neither is it my fault if the touch got dead).
4) Unlocked bootloader, flashed the stock 5.1.1. Still got the "pre flash validation" error. Did some more reading and learned that it wasn't possible to downgrade to 5.1.1.
5) Flashed TWRP and booted to recovery, but the screen still didn't respond to touch. So basically, TWRP is also no good right now.
I don't wish to install a custom ROM. I like the stock Android and am befuddled about this bug. Can't find anything. Could someone please help me with this. I truly appreciate your help.
P.S. There's nothing wrong with my screen or any other hardware for sure because my phone hasn't had any blow so far.
Hello there.
Ive had my Alcatel (android version 5.1.1) phone for about 3 months now and a while ago I wanted to root my phone so that I could install some Xposed modules, and I ended up using Kingroot. The rooting process failed but I kept it installed so nothing much occurred afterwards. A few days later I decided to install Kingoroot to see if maybe that could do the job of rooting my phone and it also failed. I was tired so I powered off my phone and went to sleep. The next morning, I powered on my phone and to my surprise it was stuck in a bootloop. I attempted to wipe the cache partition and factory reset and then reboot my phone, but it didnt work. Please not that I wasnt able to unlock the bootloader, so I cant flahs any ROMS. No system file is missing to my knowledge because it always stays stuck on the metro pcs screen with no error message. I appreciate all the help I receive and thank everyone who responds.
Thank you.
I have exactly the same problem with the exact same phone and the exact same carrier
were you able to fix it? if so, could you please tell me how.
