music scope play list - Ubuntu Touch Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
By playing a song i can add this song to the play list of the music scope.
This is very time consuming.
Is there any other way to add hundreds of songs or a complete directory to the music scope play list at the same time?
On some previews i found a note stating the support of .M3U play lists. How to do this?

Is there an answer to this question?

[APP] Music Streaming App

Hi all,
This is my first post and Id just like to say I love the site. So much amazing and useful stuff is posted here and I thought i'd make a contribution.
GhostTown is a Music app that allows you to stream unlimited music - any song by any artist. Results from searches for artists are grouped by albums with other songs and collaborations with other artists also listed.
You can also add songs to your favorites lists and even create playlists too.
Best of all it's free and available in the market.
I found it by chance the other day and is quite possibly best random app ive found!

[Q] Looking for specific music player feature

I am not sure how exactly to search for or find this specific feature when searching the android market for an audio player.
What I am looking for is an audio player that keeps track of the current position of the audio file being played, in a specific album, so that I can continue playing from there the next time I open that album. It should allow me to switch between albums, and keep and restore to the last track played for each album (or playlist). It should obviously also remember this for when I close and reopen the player.
Is anyone aware of such a audio player?
Thanks for the help
Michael

[Q] S-Voice and Music Control

Hey guys, I posted this in another forum, but never had any responses. I've also searched this site quickly and didn't see anything regarding this.
How well does S-Voice control music? I always play my music through bluetooth in my truck and I think it would be great to be able to change songs through voice commands. I've seen videos showing that S-Voice can start playing music, but none showing that it could actually play a specific song on request, (i.e. play *insert song here*). If S-Voice is not currently capable of doing this, would rooting the phone accomplish this with certain mods? I have never rooted a phone and I am looking forward to taking the dive with the GSIII.
And finally, when using S-Voice to play songs, will it only play through the stock music player, or could you play songs through Google Music?
Thanks guys, I really appreciate your help!
Hi there I assume if you make a third party music the default it would play from there but maybe not as then it wouldn't have the integration, I could test it if you like. And as far as music control goes its very good you can do loads of commands such as:
play
pause
stop
skip
then more advance commands like
play > alex claire too close
play > playlist bike songs
That is awesome... I do hope there is a way to make Google Music the default player as I much prefer streaming my music as opposed to taking up storage space on the phone.
Well I downloaded PlayerPro as I can't get Google music in the U.K (not legal anyway
) and I made it the default music player. Unfortunately even after doing this S-Voice will still open the song in the default Samsung music player.

[Q] Some questions about how Google Music works

Hi,
I have a few questions about Goole Play Music All Access. Hopefully this is the right place to ask. Just to calrify, I have a lot of music from other MP3 providers, or from my CD collection on my device. I plan on keeping it that way, because I don,t want to lose the ability to play songs with different players.:
Does your choice of Thumbs up/Thumbs down affect Radio play, if the files are on your device and not on the cloud?
When you choose Radio Play, does it mix songs from your personal library (assuming they only exist on your device)and the cloud?
I have set up my Thumbs up list do automatically download songs to my device. If I "Thumbs up" a song that I have added from my library to my device, and the same song exists on the Google Servers, what happens?
Does the choice of High/Medium/Low quality affect the quality of the song saved to my device? If so, is ther a way to listen in Normal when not on Wi-Fi but to download high quality files to the device?
I would like to have the Thumbs Up/Down control on the lock screen. Is this possible?
I find the qality of sound of the Google Play Music app to be lacking (compared to PowerAmp, for example). What other apps will give me the same access to the Google Play Music All Access?
Is it possible, when playing songs on the device only, to skip certain songs altogether when using "I feel lucky?" For example, I have a lot of spoken word, or music backtracks that I don't want to hear in my shuffled songs. In other players I just put them in a separate folder and tell the player to ignor that folder, but that concept doesn't seem to exist in Google Play Music. Unless I'm wrong?
Thanks,
L

[Q] Google Play Music Duplicates (Locally Stored & Cloud Stored)...

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for preventing duplicates showing in Google Play Music.
I have my primary music collection uploaded to Google Play Music (cloud stored), and I also have a handful of song stored locally on my device. The songs on my device are used as alarm tones, etc.
I have found that having songs stored locally & on the Google Music cloud, will cause duplicates. Just wondering if anyone knows a way to get Google Play Music to consolidate each track entry within Google Play Music, so the cloud & local tracks only show as a single listing.
Using the .NoMedia file in my devices music directory is not an option, as this prevents my alarm app from detecting the local songs.
Thanks for any help.
