Hello everyone,
I don't know if this is the right section to ask this, so excuse me if i've chosen a wrong one. (And sorry for my bad english, i'm italian)
I'm a bit confused about audio mods. I've seen a lot of threads about, for example, Dolby digital mod, dolby atmos mod or Maxx audio mod.
I would like to ask some advice to choose the best one (I listen to the music mainly in earphones)
P.S: My device is Xiaomi Mi 4c, with CM 12.1 Unofficial
Thanks!

Hi guys,
With new rooms comming around for our x10i, I ask to someone if knows a way to increase earphone and louderspeaker.
I know that is a problem with this equipment but, with new software coming around, certainly there is a way to change settings for that.
In my work I can't use headphone, so this solution is not good for me.
Can anyone help me, or is a problem that no has solution.
Is there any dev that could make a apk to make this possible?
Does I have to buy a new smartphone?
Regards

Any ROM's based on CyanogenMod should have DSP Manager included. You could use that to increase the volume.
Edit:
You could also try looking for Louder Volume Hack in the android market. It's a paid app and I'm not sure if it'll even work with our phone.
DSP Manager do not really increase volume, just have Equalizer and Bass boost
Also louder volume hack will not make much difference as we do not have a custom kernel. However, DSP Manager does make a little bit of difference with the equalizer set right

Hi
Today, I run CyanogenMod 7.1 on my Samsung Galaxy S II. I just love the bass-boost in Dsp-Manager. The bass get´s real deep in my Beats headphones. It´s just that I like the Miui rom better. I think it´s faster and it´s MUCH better looking.
So I flashed the Miui rom today, and downloaded an Dsp-Manager .apk, installed, and looked forward to that deep bass. But no, not even when I applied the bass-boost, it didn´t work. It sounded like it didn´t boost the right frequenzy. It just didn´t sound right...
Anybody got an idea of what I need to do to get that deep bass from Dsp-manager in Miui rom?
Thanks !

Ps. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong category. Yes, I´m a newbie !
DSPManager uses a modified libflinger.so file, which, I'm guessing, is responsible for the audio enhancements, so just pushing the APK won't be of much help. I, too, would love to see DSPManager ported to MIUI. *talons crossed*
Is it possible to port it to other Roms? I tried to just copy and replace the audiolibflinger.so file and it caused the phone not to boot...
A few days ago I rooted my Moto Z and flashed Lineage OS (build: 18.04.2017) with TWRP.
But when I watched the first YouTube Video, the sound was a little bit strange because sounds under a specific volume weren't played from the speakers of my phone.
It's like a noise reduction, but the complete sound was reduced.
Did anyone here already had that problem or heard of it?
Is there a way to remove it?
Thank you and sorry for my bad English.
Sound Bug also on different ROMs
Hi guys!
I'm a LineageOS user on HTC One M7. I used old versions (cyanogen mod) or also tried different roms (like SlimRom, TeslaOS) for newer versions of Android (currently: Android 7.1.1 with LineageOS 14.1 nightly) and all the results are very similar: either no or very little and squeaky sound on ear audio (call). So i use speaker, but it also works sometimes, or not! There is no problem with music, video etc media; but just on calls.
Is there any else, got the same problem? Could anyone helps pls? Thx in advance...
*I'm also not a native English speaker, thx for understanding
Hi Guys! I'm a little bit confused between Dolby Atmos and Viper4Android. I am a Kenzo user and currently using NOS O latest build.
So please suggest me which one should I flash? Dolby or Viper
and please give the best settings for it if you have.
Thanks in advance
Search FIRE SOUND in XDA (in our forum RN3 Pro)
Have Dolby and V4A and much other tweaks.
I love this mod
Edit: Link
Dolby, but you have to make sure that you flash the working version - some versions seem to work but actually do nothing and to make sound virtualizer work is not trivial.
Try Jetaudio music player, their plugins are actually working and doing the job great.
Hey guys, as the title says, i am looking for some nice sound mods that work properly on a11, i already got Viper, but i remember when i used to have modded devices i had many installed at once like dolby ecc. all working fine together.
I searched a bit but some of these threads about sound mods are really confusing, so i just thought i'd come here to ask. Also i was wondering if AInur Sauron works for a11 too or it stops at a10 ?
Thx a lot
Up.
