Hi everyone, i'm a new user!
During the installation of a new ROM, when i flashed Cyanogenmod 9.1 rom, my phone had some problems because of a wrong ROM
Now the screen is off, the LEDs do not work, but the phone will turn on (it vibrates when I press the power button). Probably is on but does not display anything.
How do I run the flashtool, if my phone does not turn off (and therefore can not go into flash mode)?
Thank you
Hi there, I rooted my device at the first place. Then installed CWM and a ROM manager to install Cyanogenmod 10.2 Unofficial after. But the thing is I cannot access the recovery menu on my phone. I tried all kinds of VOL(+/-) + Camera + Power keys combinations but all I got were the S/W Upgrade display page and Hard Reset. I even installed some optional apks to boot manually right inside the stock OS itself (which is ICS Android 4.0.4 V20H Official) but the buttons of the very app didn't respond. More clearly, when I press the reboot app's buttons (don't get me wrong, they were both visible and selectable) nothing would happen. What should I do to solve it? Thanks.
Ok I feel stuck in corner right now. I was testing a CM14 rom, decided to go back to CM13 by restoring a backup through TWRP. Once the restore was complete the FP scanner was acting out a little: it would detect my finger twice (without recongnizing my fingerprint) before not working at all. PIN unlock is working fine
SO I decided to reflash a angi kernel version that was initially working with my CM13 rom (version 2.01r2 i think). After that, my power button and volume down are not working AND when I try to unlock my screen I get a black screen, then I see marshmallow default wallpaper and the screen closes... :crying:
How can I reset to recovery without the power button and when I can't unlock screen???? Other then waiting for the battery to drain out....
Please help me....
what happened to power bttn?
Run edl.bat on computer to boot in EDL mode, then flash MIUI rom with miflash

Well, it´s difficult to know exactly what cause this sudden dead. When I receive myy device from AliExpress I noted that bootloader was unlocked and when I try to flash through miflash tool (it works with device in fastboot mode) it says permission denied, it means that something was wrong in this unlock-procedure; I don´t know if you purchased in this conditions but this is an alert signal.
I could to enter in fastboot and how was unlocked I flashed TWRP and used a custom rom, but you know if it is a similar case that could help you.
First of all check your battery charge and be sure that you are pressing correctly vol down + pwr at same time without realease any till bunny appears but if you have a locked bootloader you can´t use miflash tool. Also you can try to enter in fastboot at same time that you connecting to charger press vol down.
There is a special mode EDL (download for Xiaomi) that is used to flash a rom without unlock bootloader, of course this method is hidden for any user.
You can Google these two options to enter to EDL mode; Normal method is pressing the three buttons at same time that you connect device to pc till vibrates then release but not always works that.
- Deep cable EDL
- Test Point (you need to open the cover)
Then if succesfull you have to download your fastboot rom image, drivers and also miphone tool (if not the same that miflash tool) this tool works in download mode to flash Xiaomi devices
Recently, this is a question to be asked by me, but since I've found the answer I'll share it with you.
Bootloader Unlock
First, you need to unlock both USB debugging and OEM unlock in your developer mode in your phone.
After that, backup every important file in your phone in your sd card or any storage (If you don't have then skip backup)
After you have backup and everything follow this step:
1.Press and hold volume up and down as well as the power off button., release if you see changes in your screen
ALTERNATIVE: If the method above doesn't work then proceed to this.
1-A. Plug in your phone while being power off in your pc using USB and then hold volume up and down. release when your screen changes.
If none of the above doesn't work, you have to try it again and again. Sometimes there is a bug that delays your button. I tried these methods 5 times before one of them work.
After that, you'll find blue screen or anything in between. Hold volume up.
This will leads you to a screen where it needs your permission to unlock the bootloader. Just press volume up to confirm.
And boom! Done! Hope it works. if you encounter any problems just comment below

To unlock the bootloader on your Samsung device, turn off your phone.
Press and hold Volume Down + Volume Up keys together, then while pressing these keys connecting the phone to PC with USB Cable Data, release all keys when Download Mode appears.
Now long-press the Volume Up button to unlock the bootloader.
Again press Volume Up key to confirm the unlocking.
Congrats! You have successfully Unlocked the Bootloader on Samsung Galaxy A10.
