Imei number wrong?!?!? - Sprint LG G3

So, I broke my note 4 and purchased a lg g3 from a "friend". I'm not 100% what all he did to the g3 but I can't get it to activate on sprint. It is a sprint phone, completely paid off.
I know he rooted it but that's about the extent of what I know.
The big issue here is that the imei number under the battery is different from the imei number showing up under settings. Sprint says the imei under settings is what is being sent to them and its not even loaded into their system.
I'm at a complete loss as to what is wrong or how to fix it. I'd really like to get it working as I've bought the device already and would be out my cash. I'm also using a gs3 which is painfully slow.
Any and all help, input, or information would be greatly appreciated.

I´ve solve this in my LS990
I´ve made some search and solve this in mine, IMEI now is the same in back

How did you fix this?

Hi,
I have the same issue with my LS990 so please , How did you fix this?

Got Scammed with htc raider but can i fix it

Hi
i bought a htc raider from kijiji locked with rogers. the person who gave me the phone told me that it is locked with rogers so at the spot i just checked the functions like wifi etc and nothing much. after when i inserted the rogers sim card it did not recognize the sim card and still said no service. there were not signals coming and there was a cross on top of the bars. i tried it with other rogers sim card and the same problem. went to setting about phone network and every thing was disabled . i reset and hard reset but the same problem. i tried to get the imei number by pressing *#06# it just showed the letters"IMEI" but there were no numbers beneath it. i went to setting to check the imei number but nothing was mentioned there either. there was a imei number pasted on the rogers box and under the battery so i called up rogers to ask about the phone and they said it was refurbished phone and it is out of warranty so they cannot help me out.
is it a possibility that the guy tried to unlock the phone and could not do it correctly. is there any ways i can do some thing about the phone. every feature is working fine but the every thing related to calling features. its like now a ipod of android
please help me. if unlocking , unrooting is the option please tell me or paste a link to do that. if you require more information to resolve this issue please mention in the comments and i will let you guys know
thank you

[Q] Galaxy Note II (was) Flashed to Boost Mobile with problems

I've tried to make this brief, but there's a lot to tell and this isn't a simple yes/no question.
After several hours of searching for answers with Google and here on XDA, I'm hoping I can find some help here. A friend's wife has a Verizon Galaxy Note II (SCH-i605) that was flashed to Boost Mobile a few months ago by some shady cellular store which no longer is in business. So taking the phone back to them isn't an option. They did a half-ass flash considering the device didn't have 3g or mms working. At some point within the last day or two a factory reset was done.
Here's where it gets weird. After the reset the phone no longer had service. No phone or (1x) data that it had up to that point. I was asked if I could figure out what was wrong. After a long time investigating the problem I finally discovered the reason the phone didn't have service any more was that the ESN didn't match the MEID! And no, it wasn't changed by my friend or his wife (they definitely have no idea how to do it). Nobody had done anything to the phone up to that point aside from the factory reset.
Some quick background info - when the phone was flashed it was done via MEID/ESN method. Let's not go into any detail on that. So after realizing that the current ESN (verizon) didn't match the current MEID (boost) I was puzzled. I'm not new to flashing, and have done a fewl flashes myself so I'm familiar with the whole procedure. What I don't understand is how/why this ESN change happened! I would have suspected someone tampering with the phone but it isn't possible.
Now, my friend lives on the east coast and I'm in California so I couldn't physically look at or do anything with the phone. So using TeamViewer I remotely connected to his computer and gave him instructions on what I needed him to physically do on the phone, and I operated the software. Connected to CDMA Workshop I looked everything over and the only problem I noticed was the mismatched ESN. Tried to change the it back with Workshop but it wouldn't stick. I didn't think it would, but tried anyway. I Tried again with DFS but it didnt work either. For reason unknown DFS didn't load the proper EQF for the phone, and instead used a generic Qualcomm EQF. Yellow light at the bottom instead of green. Long story short, I then noticed that the Boost Mobile NAM and data profile settings were gone as well. Strange, right? Especially since the MEID was showing the same Boost number that was there since the flash.
In my experience on Samsung devices, only the MEID needs to be written and the phone calculates and applies the ESN (or pESN). But this thing apparently has an IMEI which I'm not familiar with. Never owned a GSM phone. So I don't understand how the ESN could have changed/reverted itself, the NAM and data info reset, and so on. Can anyone with experience in this area give some input on what the problem would be and maybe even offer a solution? What is required to perform an MEID/ESN repair on this device? I want to do what I can to help him out because at this point his wife is very upset (to put it mildly), thinking it's his fault.

Has he tried just going into a Verizon store I know that might seem dumb as an answer but you just go in and tell them to do a complete factory restore/reset.. have them change back the info.....
Not sure but if i remember correct if you use ODIN (havent used ODIN on this phone yet) theres a box to check to do factory restore or factory reset which will put all old info back ... I will look into it and reply back .. since i got my note 2 i have used odin again but when i had a epic 4g flashed to boost i remember i had to make sure that box wasnt checked
But you see...They don't want the Verizon settings on the phone. The Note 2 WAS flashed to Boost Mobile (which they currently use), but it's currently non usable because the Verizon setting already ARE back on the phone. That's half of the problem here. The other part of the problem is how to get the device back onto Boost's network.
Update- just found out from DFS tech support that the demo version of this software isn't capable of writing meid or esn on this phone. An update costing $35 is required to have that ability. Is it possible with other software (free)?

That's strange because I flashed an i605 from a Gusto with a demo of DFS and everything went fine including the ESN/MEID.
I now want to flash it to Boost mobile because the reception of Verizon isn't that much better in my area and I'm grandfathered in to the 10c a mintues pay as you go.
Note II
If I factory reset my note II will it still be flashed to Boostmobile? Do I re-sell it as Sprint or Boostmobile?

Galaxy s4 i537

Hello, having issue with a null/null IMEI after factory resetting the phone. Also the service menu is blank so there are no options. I have researched a lot but am not finding a solution for imei that either I comprehend or works. Im not amazing smart with these things, but with some help I know I can get it fixed. I bought this phone and got screwed over my own fault just looking to fix it

[Q] Managed to unbrick VZW GN2 but lost imei

I picked up a bricked Verizon Note2 off someone on craigslist. I managed to unbrick it but the only way that i could was by flashing a stock rom without root. I tried earlier stock roms and so forth. Nothing stuck. So now it has stock 4.3 on it. The problem is apparently the efs folder is corrupted or files are missing or whatever, but I cannot connect to verizon network. In the settings the imei and meid is unknown, baseband is unknown, network is unknown, mobile network type is unknown, etc., etc.
I am really at a loss as to what to do. I have been pouring over xda and various other threads for the past few days and cannot seem to find a fix.
The good news 'might be' that I have my own Verizon GN2, which is also stock 4.3, but not rooted. So basically the same phone, except my GN2 has the ND3 build (i took the OTA update) and the borked phone has the MJ9 build.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what i can do to rebuild the efs folder or whatever it takes to get this phone to pick up the VZW network?
Naturally I do know what the iemi is because its under the battery.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Just an update if anyone cares... At one point I put the phone in airplane mode and when I tried to take it out of airplane mode it would freeze. Battery pull, rebooted and soft reset several times and it never came out of airplane mode. I called Samsung to report the airplane mode problem, not mentioning my initial issue at all, and after they took me through all of their steps of reboots and resets he decided that I should send it in and they will reflash all new software to it, and they were "really sorry" that this has happened to me. I pouted for about 2 seconds before printing out the mailing label.
Does anyone know what android version they typically send back? The most recent Verizon version or the original Verizon release version?
CL
Thats what happens when you use CL
I knew it was bricked when I got it but in worse shape, that's why I only paid $80 for it, other than that it's in great condition. Sending it off to Samsung is the best I could have done to get back into working condition. Not a bad flip.

No signal

Hi all, I recently got an S4 SCH -I545L from a friend to help him
But I faced an isue with it, it receives no signal at all, It just shows an icon with a circle inside in diagonal
At first the I thought it was siölocked so i strugeled to get into service mode using shortcut master for the conventional dial method didnt work. But to no availm after following the desimlock procedure, still nothing(Seems like it wasnt even simlocked since i found no NV golden backup)
Then out of a sudden when explorimg secret codes i found out that my IMEI says unknown, so i tried every possible thing to fix tha
I tried to install Xposed so as to install Xposed IMEI changer, but I was unable to install xposed for various reasons
Then i tried a lot of things i found on the web, but still nothing, seems like this issue is very complex
Im running android lollipop 5.0.1
Regards, hope someone can help
Come on, s o no one can help me out here ?
Really?
In the whole XDA community?
This is really sad
I don't know if my problem is exactly the same as yours, but I also have a no/very low signal after adding an AT&T SIM card to this phone:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...rizon-samsung-galaxy-s4-sch-1545-att-t3459764
So far as I have googled, my IMEI number is clean.
EDIT: For your particular problem, it might be helpful to know what carrier SIM you're using and whether that SIM is specific to the phone or not.

I used a SIM tool app to verify SIM card, and it said it's locked to Verizon, but a lot of properties are listed unknown, so it's definitely not connected to the network
I think it's a CDMA/LTE phone but I tried and none works
