Cannot mount emmc/sd. Aparted says bad superblock. Nextbook NX008HD8G - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

What happened was that I chose the wrong nandroid to restore by accident it was for a different device. It soft bricked the tablet, but I was able to bring it back. Now it boots, and runs android, but TWRP says "cannot mount emmc" and also "cannot mount sd" The external sdcard0 does mount and work in TWRP but when android is booted I have to change permissions to the sdcard0 folder to get the external card to mount, and the internal sd tries but wont mount. Aparted recognizes the internal card if I manually change to its directory and is able to create partitions and so forth, but it still wont mount. Aparted repair says it has a corrupted superblock. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for reading

Internal SD Card NonMountable, NonReadable

I could really use some help.
I have no idea what's going on, but my microsd card basically got corrupted somehow. So I had to format it as fat32 again from windows. Sux because I lost my saved games, etc.
Anyways, now my internal Sdcard (ROM) isn't mountable anymore. When I try to mount it, nothing happens. If I try to view /sdcard in astro, nothing shows up.
it's like it doesnt exist anymore. So how is this possible? I rebooted, and you would think my ROM would be jacked up now because my /sdcard doesn't exist.
Any insight? Running vegan 5.1 with pershoot kernel. Been fine, ever since my micro got corrupt. Maybe I lost permissions or something?
Another example is when I goto gallery: it says "sd card unmounted or not present" is there a way to remount your internal rom sdcard?

try to format it thru phone
Tried that a couple of time and it didn't work. After a couple of reboots it worked now. Thanks.
Still got a question though.
What are the correct settings for formatting the sd card from windows?
Is it necessary to partition it from CWM? What are the correct setting for this?
LE: Ok. I got myself deeper in trouble. I managed to format the sd card from CWM. I mounted the sd card and copied update-cm-7.2.0-RC1-p500-signed.zip over. I wiped the phone's memory and tried to install CM7 and got the following error: "E: Can't open /sdcard/update-cm-7.2.0-RC1-p500-signed.zip (bad)". I also tried with update-oxygen-2.3.2-LGP500-KANG-signed_v2.6.zip but doesn't work either.
I was thinking of trying to partition the sd card from CWM but i'm afraid i will make it unable to mount back again and this time i got no android to format it from.
Also it seems that formatting the sd card from cwm doesn't really work. The files are still there though it says that it completed.
LE2: I managed to mount sd card from cwm and copied over a cwm backup folder i had in my computer. Takes a while to copy it like it really does something. But after i try to restore or remount usb storage the files aren't there anymore.
can you tell me why do you want to patition your sd card? do you want to create second partition (sd-ext) or what?

Just format your SDCARD from SETTINGS - STORAGE, after that proceed with the instalation of CM7 or whatever you want. Don't partition your SDCARD if you don't know how to do that and if you don't need partitioned SDCARD. It is not necessary to do that if you don't use an APPS2SD app, so don't waste your time with that.

cannot acces internal sd

as topic title says, i cant acces the internal SD anymore.
did a full stock flash via odin, but still get the same error.
when phone is booted up it gallery keeps crashing (cant find the internal sd).
also in cwm i get the message E:Can't mount /sdcard
i tried unmouting and formatting, but still not accesible.
is there a way to reformat the internal SD via adb ?

[Q] my prime is completeky empty, who to install?

I stupid did formatted my /data and /system on my prime.
It is now completely empty, i can get normally into recovery mode but cannot install any software at all.....
When i try install install from sd card it says simply: 'no files found'
I got an external SD inserted but this is not reqonized by fastboot recovery.
When i go to 'mounts and formats' the /sdcard /data etc is not mounted, when i use 'mount sd card' nothing happens, mostlikely because all is formated and there is no /sdcard found.
I booted into USB mode and uplaoded a CW rom into the drive which is mounted on my pc, created a folder called sdcard and place in there the CW mod, try to install it bu no succes. It simply does not see my sd card.
Tried: adb pusk cm.xxxxx.xip /sdcard, but get an error: closed
Simply i cannot install anything.
My question is:
- how do i access the external SD card where my rom is located to install?
- how can i recover the prime so i can use it again?

[Q] Wont go past bootlogo (no internal storage in TWRP)

Hi
So I was playing around with the internal memory settings on my P780 and tried to partion my external 32 GB sd card so that my phone would recognize it as an internal storage. Anyhow, when i turned of my phone and inserted my 32 GB card and then turned it back on I didnt get past the Google bootlogo. So I fired up TWRP and from there I cant mount my internal storage since it says its on 0 MB.
Ive tried the factory reset button, another sd card, and even to re-flash my rom with no succes. When I flash, the log says:
E: unable to mount /emmc
E: unable to mount /data
E: unable to mount /cache
E: unable to mounte /system
any ideas on how to make my phone detect the internal storage again?

What did you do to your internal memory?
Did you tried to reboot the phone without external memory ?
Did you removed the external memory when your phone booted second time ?
Did you done any backup to your system ?

I went in to the storage setting and tried to make my external SD card as default. When I was done partioning my SD card I turned my phone off and put the SD card inside and then switched it on. The phone said that the card was damaged and I therefor formated it. I might have taken out the external card when I booted the phone the second time. There is no backup. My computer dont recognize my phone when I plug it in and i cant browse the sd nor internal storage. I was running the lates SLX rom and everything was running perfect up until this point.
Thanks for the reply Stympy
Problem solved!
I first tried to flash via SP flash tool, but failed and hard bricked the device. Then I followed the steps Stympy posted in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-p780/help/lenovo-p780-mt6589-device-hard-bricked-t2890675
And flashed on a stock rom, and now my phone works normally again.
So the lesson is kids: if you mess things up, just hard brick your device and then flash it.
