Backup with Titanium and try to reinstall from scratch with SEUS.
phone is not rooted, and i can't do it. so there's no way for me to get titanium backup.. or is it posible to put Titanium backup into non-rooted phone ?
if i dont care about what's inside in phone. should i do the backup with titanium ?
restarts
I had a similar problem before with my X10i. It would restart and couldn't turn it back on again (stuck at start up screen). I returned it for warranty, to keep it short i argued quite a lot with them and in the end got new x10. Aperently it was motherboard problem (they were trying to persuade me it is just a software problem so they just reinstalled the software, and gave it back to me, but it was still restarting).
I know this doesn't really help you with your problem, but i just wanted to post my experience with my x10

Sometimes It Will Just Freeze On The Main Screen When I Come To Use It & Even Reboot Itself Sometimes...
Any Ideas On How To Fix This @ All Cuz It Doing My Tree In Doin The Same Routine Daily 5-6-7 times....!
Thanks In Advance..!

2.3.3 Android Version
2.1.71 BB
2.6.29-00054 Kernal Version
3.0.1.g.0.75 Build
Rooted?
If not, may be the motherboard. I've got the same problem with mine, and I'm going to return it to store for a fix.
You may also want to try to plug it to the computer and open PC Companion and try the "repair" function. But backup everything you need first, I don't think everything get's deleted but be aware that it may happen.
Do u overclock it?

Hi, I got a similar problem. Since a few weeks ago, flashed a ROM and when I've tried to use the phone, it keeps turning off randomly, sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes after hours. So, I tried to take it back to the clean original 2.3.3 ROM, but it keeps happening. ¿Any idea? ¿Any solution? Please, help me.

Didnt PCCompanion/seus fix it? And still persists?
Then it's time to get a new chipset.
Or a new device.

Hi,
I have got my Xperia U ( 4 months age ) making a dive into the w.c. :crying:
Since then it is impossible to turn on bluetooth and with wifi it even goes worst, as if I try to turn wifi on my cell goes into a continuos loop of reboots.
I have tried several things; trying to dry it on rice, trying to re-flash with a newer versión rom from Sony, going into safe mode... I have even try to make use of guarantee  which obviously has not worked.
Is there any way to try to recover it by software ? Is it purely a hardware malfunction ?
Years ago I reflash on a HTC Wildfire only the part of "radio" which involved gsm/gps/bluetooth etc, I have not find anything similar for Xperia U, is it possible ?
Thx in advance.
Any physical accident ----> surely hardware problems...

Going into safe mode for flashing new rom?
Use flashtool to flash latest firmware, if problem persists after that nothing we can do to help you, then probably hardware failure due to physical damage.
Flashtool: http://androxyde.github.com/index.html?1364069462000
latest firmware can be found searching the forum.
I'm kindly posting this question to help my friend's X10 Mini Pro.
The phone is hardbricked two times, the first one is we accidentally flashed the wrong .ftf file on Flashtool last month and sent to repair center, it came back to life. The second one is that the phone did not power on after turning it off (happened almost 1 month after the repair). So here's the problem:
So the phone vibrates shortly everytime I'll try to turn it on but there are no signs of led and screen to lit up. The good news is the computer (I'm using Win7) recognizes the phone when I connect it but a couple of seconds, it just disconnects and reconnects again sometimes it just normally connects with no interruption. I tried to flash back to stock using Flashtool (the .ftf file)
According to the message log, it successfully flashed so I disconnected it and turned on the phone but still, it just vibrates and the screen did not turn on. Tried Sony PC Companion-failed I don't know if the bootloader is STILL unlocked after the repair because I unlocked the bootloader before the first hardbrick event happened. So I'm thinking about what if he accidentally accepted an OTA update? maybe that's the reason of being hardbricked? what do you think? I really appreciated your help
