Special thanks to CyanogenMod, SlimRoms, Omni and all the rest who make their source open, we can't do this on our own.
Until I sort the first post out properly for OMS I will put the link here for the OMS build folder
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=70703
For now it doesn't come installed with Substratum so you will have to install that from the playstore. Also for now OMS builds have slim navbar but hopefully that will change very soon.

Not at this point. Probably won't be either. We find the majority of users don't stay on one rom long enough to use it. We have a weekly release so with no nightlies there isn't much point to it.

This'll be the 4th or 5th ROM I've flashed in 3 days X-D
Does this use layers? Or cm theme like DU?
Also, any plans to port DU fling over? That navigation experience is awesome!
Thanks!

It's got nova enabled as the default launcher. So if you've ever used nova or apex that's what it looks like out of the box. And it's a slim rom ---> there's no central spot in the settings for added slim tweaks. There are a TON of them, but you get to hunt for them...that's part of the fun

That's a very true statement theme chooser is a pain in the but to add. I have been working on it for weeks and just when I think I have all the conflicts taken care of and build I still had x,y or z bugs. I had to take a break from it. Lol
Thanks for welcoming feature requests.
These are two slim features that were not put back in Kitkat, nfc polling when phone locked, and disable volume buttons when in vibrate mode and only allow volume change from onscreen slider.
Currently on official slim 7.4, will definitely try your build after work.

So far so good. I see lockscreen notifications was added. Will put rom through its paces. :good:
the slimsaberkat rom for the galaxy s4 was one of the best roms for it. incredible, nearly ridiculous battery life (with alucard kernel). reason enough to give this one here a try. hope you have done well with the kernel according battery life can't be that my s4 lasts way longer than the 1+1 with same usage

Yeah think it was a one time thing. Also noticed that the battery and data traffic in status bar overlap a tiny bit more noticeable when you have both incoming and out going enabled

Ya, we don't really like the traffic monitor as it is. Centering the clock helps with this but we are looking for other implementations of it.

I'd say its about a 9 stability wise. Everything seems to work. Needs some testing out in the masses to let me know what needs fixing still.
I use it as a daily ROM for weeks now.

Well in my opinion CM is a based on AOSP however it's not AOSP.
The reason why some people ask CM or AOSP is because if based on CM obviously we'll experience known bugs and so forth however if based on AOSP we won't experience the same stuff and we have reassurance that its built from AOSP, less bugs, less bloatware and a better stock experience. And that's why we ask, so we know what to expect. CM is not AOSP for many XDA users, correct me if I'm wrong.
What is the size and the original file system (Fat32, ext2...) of your SD card before formatting for internal use ?

You mean almost stable? What about the video recording bug that affects the other N ROMs for OP2, is it solved?

Video recording works ! Use footej camera for 4k recording and slowmo recording , or use google camera for 1080p recording .
can you tell if any navbar mods you have added?

Substratum legacy themes work !
Eg. Domination , inversionUI , ModernUI themes.. Themes are not purely stable from their side .. So expect bugs if any .

Not sure if it is worth spending the time integrating, a nougat rom already has it included
Nevertheless, by all means integrate it if you'd like to! Downloading ROM now so will let you know how it goes

Not a good practice to paste links of other ROM in a specific ROM thread.
We all must respect the devs work.
Good to see it here. Great work man! Now lets move towards OP3.

Cheers for the heads up. I've removed the link
Many Many Thanks for this bro
Which Xposed package would you recommend to flash on this ROM? This ROM is the best Nougat ROM for OP2 as of yet. Very happy.
