Hi all,
I've been reading this forums for years but just decided to become a member, so I guess I'm new as a member.
I'm not sure if there's a better place to ask this, but I was wondering if there are any ROMS for the Galaxy Tab 3(GT-P5210) model.
I have come across ROMS with 4.2.2 version, but nothing newer. I have searched quite a bit and still haven't found anything. Appologies if I'm not looking hard enough.
I would like to root my Tab 3 and put a custom ROM with hopefully Kit Kat on it. Also info on how to root the Tab 3. I have just done my Galaxy s4 if that helps.
Thanks in advance for your help

Re: Galaxy S4, sprint sph-L720 with Lolipop- 5.0.1, bb-L720vpugoh1
I've spent a few hours reading related threads here and other sites, looking for the best solution to downgrade from lolipop.
It seems that most of the S4 threads having successful unlocks are outdated from 2014 to 2015 and some having more than 150 posts, it's a little tougher to follow all the steps.
So if anyone can share a recent scenario where they were able to downgrade/upgrade this same S4 phone and get a domestic unlock, any help or direction will be greatly appreciated.
Any answers to these questions will be of great help: Will update to Nougat 7.0.0 help or hurt with getting unlock?
Is a downgrade the only way to getting this model/fw unlocked?
By having updated FW with Knox, does this kill all chances of a downgrade?
Thanks in advance for any replies!
Hi,
Complete Android Newbie here, please apologise my beginner question.
I'm looking for a way to root the new Samsung Galaxy S9 running latest updates, without tripping KNOX.
I've seen rooting tutorials around but they never mentioned Knox specifically. Would like to understand the options first, before starting to mess things up.
Thanks for your input!
Cheers

unless we get lucky and get root-able engineering bootloader.
I doubt we will see other method that's not tripping KNOX.
Not without sacrifice. This is a chose you make. Knox or root. Having both defeats both.
Hello, this is my first time posting on here.
I have an old Galaxy S3, USA version, T-mobile, SGH-T999. I was wondering how to update it to make it usable? From what I've read online the best way is to root and put in a custom ROM. The problem I'm having is finding the latest ROMs. Is there any way to find the latest official ROMs for the phone? And if I download an unofficial one, how can I know which will run well on my phone? Do I just simply get the latest unofficial ROM?
Lastly, if any one has any step by step guide or video on how to root and install ROMs it would be much appreciated as I've never done something like this before. Sorry if this has been posted before, I'm new to this site and have been having trouble navigating and searching old posts.
Thank you.

I suspect the reason that you haven't gotten any responses in the last day or so is that you are on the wrong part of the Forum! This is the area for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7" Tablet, not the Galaxy S3 Smartphone.
You might want to take a look over here for the T-Mobile S3.
Hope that helps clear things up

Oh wow my bad lol, thank you for letting me know!
Hi!
Not sure if posting into right section..
I'm wondering if someone is able to help me deknox my Galaxy A6 A600FN?
I have read something about "kitchen" in this forum but I guess there are people more used to this type of customisation than me.
The thing is that my work phone is preconfigured with the Knox Cloud MDM and prevents me from installing certain apps. So I would really need help removing the Knox from a rom if it is even possible? I'm not to familiar with this but I guess I need to flash it with the help of TWRP?
