Hi all
I have a redmi 4 prada on 7.5.25 China developer.
I cannot enter edl mode, not with the regular (adb reboot edl) when the device is on connected to pc nor with fastboot mode.
It just reboots to android again, not edl mode,
Any ideas?

EDL reboot might be disabled in this ROM version. Try via tespoint (got to open the phone though).
Just google redmi 4 testpoint.
Turn off the phone completely
Turn it on by pressing ALL 3 buttons at once, and try to plug the USB in fastly
POWER + Volume UP + Volume DOWN
This is how you enter EDL mode
If it doesn't work you need an EDL cable, you can also mod a regular MicroUSB into an EDL cable
So I have Asus Zenfone 3 ZE520KL, after i upgrade the firmware to OPR1.170623.026.WW_Phone-15.0410.1802.44-0 I cannot get in to EDL mode anymore. Not from adb roboot edl, fastboot reboot edl or keys combination. Someone please explain this situation. Thanks.
hi i have a redmi mi 8a and this no fastboot ,no recovery ,no power on, only edl mode when try flash appear need authentication edl ,
Some will have the firehose programmer of this model to be able to skip the EDL authentication and be able to recover phone

Hello dear friends, my redmi note 9s curtana is unlock bootloader and eng rom installed, device have not problem in USB socket etc... and detected in recovery, adb & edl mode, bu it is not detected in fastboot mode. what is the solution?
