Hi,
After I tried to use debloater to remove bloat, I wasnt able to boot my phone after a restart.
I am no longer able to go to recovery to do a factory reset after I impatiently turned off the phone during the process.
Right now, I can access the phone through the bootloader page with various option, is there any other way to do a factory reset my phone.?
Thank in advance,

I have a Sprint Galaxy S2 and I am out of the country without access to a store. I recently was unable to get my phone past the starting screen. YES IM AWARE OF THE ROUTE AS TO HOW TO DO A HARD RESET! First I took out the SD drive and did the proper way to get to the RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS (and lets be clear, the factory screen did come up!). However, this is where I screwed up, I accidentally cleared the "cache" one I believe, not the "restore factory". It then took me back to that screen and I was able to do the normal factory wipe. It never really restarted like it did with the numerous other posts on how its "suppose to reboot itself". I now turn it on and it just goes back to the Galaxy start up screen again, only now, I cannot even access the factory menu. Can someone please give me a step by step process on what to do? I have seen the word ODIN everywhere and I have no idea what that is...
I was having all sorts of problems earlier with apps not working, etc... I couldn't even add a google account. So I tried a factory reset from the settings menu, and that didn't work. So then I tried a reset through safestrap a complete reset including the system files, and now my phone gets stuck at the Samsung boot logo.
I'm thinking I might need to use odin and completely restore my entire phone. Does anyone have a tutorial on that? Or is that the way to go?
I checked this topic but I saw that most answers are from 2014 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2769341&page=3&nocache=1
In this year Z2 got 5.0 update and I want to ask if there is good way of getting into recovery mode. When I reset device it doesn't show notification light it justs restarts.
I need to do factory reset or somehow bypass pattern lock screen on android 5.0, my brilliant sister forgot what her pattern is. Can anyone give me some tips how to do that?

The gesture file is in /data/system/gesture.key
All you need to do is delete this file.
If You have root access, adb debugging enabled then you can probably do it via ADB.
If you have unlocked bootloader then you can just delete this single file from the recovery (by flashing boot.img).
If You don't have an unlocked bootloader then you could try to find a way to just install some recovery (idk if it's possible).
However, if You can't connect to your phone, then the only option to get rid of lock screen is wiping the phone.
You can do it by flashing new ftf file and leaving "wipe data" option checked (it will also wipe Your internal storage).
Actually I found even easier way to factory reset device.
You can get to your devices on google play and from there factory reset your device remotely. Nice trick to remember.

OH yeah. You're right, didn't think about that as Google anti theft isn't such a good app.

Hello all,
I have this LG K7 X210 variant that belongs to my niece. Because the phone was quite slow and almost full their parents decided to factory reset it.
However now at the initial setup after the reset, it always asks for the previous Google Account that was on the phone. The problem is that they don't know/remember neither the email nor the password!
I tried to factory reset it as well by booting into recovery but the same results. The reset finishes without errors however it still needs a Google Account that was previously used in the phone!
How can I bypass that? Is there any way to flash again the stock rom? I can't find anything for this variant online.
It's been over a month that phone is in this state!
Thank you!

Hey your phone FRP Locked by Google. You can bypass it by watching some tutorials or by using LG Up to restore again. There's a guy with a thread called LG Aristo 2 Tutorials by TeckNight and he has all the stock firmware and links to recover your phone.
I have s9+ that I didn't know to remove Google FRP from before doing factory reset. So I go through the google recovery only to get thanks for having a recovery email but we still can't verify its you. It does not have service on the phone she switch to ATT got another phone I was going to reset and sell it for my daughter who no longer uses this phone. Is there anyway to get the phone working since google, Samsung and Verizon has been zero help. Someone said to flash combination file and that would do it. But I'm struggling to find the right file. Looks like from the recovery screen it is android 8.0/r16nw/G965USQS2ARF4. Any advice on how to recover from this google lock out would be much appreciated. thx
Did you have try wipe data / factory reset from recovery mode?
re
