Sony Xperia M4 Aqua will get the Android Marshmallow (6.0) system and it will solve the low internal storage problems...
When the update will come, i will buy a 32GB+ sdcard and this phone will be the best device i ever had.
The function:

Guys, what do you think about it?
It will be great. Now we just have to hope Sony releases the source so we can get to rom building
Just make sure you buy a really fast SD card, normal class 10 won't cut it.
This was the fastest that I was able to find in my town http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Extreme-microSDXC-Adapter-SDSQXSG-032G-GN6MA/dp/B010NE3QS0
I'm using it with link2sd and I don't feel the lag that was caused by my old cheap SD card's speed

I'm not sure if somebody else experiences this, but as soon as I've installed ICS on my Sola, my sd card would cause either a bootloop (Samsung class 10, 32gb) or would reboot itself whilst reading/writing from/to the sd card (sandisk, 32gb, sandisk, 2gb).
Like I've mentioned, this only happens on ICS. I've tried the stock ICS ftf, then tried Dynamic rom, problem still there.
On one hand I feel like requesting a repair for my device, but on the other hand, if I flash it back to GB, relock BL, they won't find a problem with the SD so that gets me nowhere since official ICS isn't released yet -- which makes me wonder how the official release can differ from that of the global ftf...
What to do? This makes me almost regret not getting that Xperia Go when I had the chance.
Tablet: VERSUS TOUCHTAB 10.1" DUAL CORE 16GB TABLET ANDROID 4.1 BLUETOOTH
I bought this tablet about a year ago, but I have not really used it because I have an iPad but recently I thought of using it and it was running slow. It was also complaining about memory. I bought a new microSD card but it is not allowing me to save apps to it. I have made sure device is rooted and can access card on PC so microSD card is. Anytime I move to SD always moving to NAND flash memory and not SD. I thought a change of ROM might help with SD issue and also increase speed of tablet. I am currently using jellybean 4.1 and will not let me upgrade through the normal process.
PS. If anyone could suggest a fast ROM compatible with my device would be grateful and also quick guide on how to put new ROM on tablet because not done it before.
Hi there. I'm a new member to the community and in desperate search for a Android 6.0 Marshmallow ROM that is compatible with my Hip street Pilot Tablet. Or even someone willing to make one? I've had problems since I picked up this tab in a sale, mainly being stuck on 5.1 Lollipop and lack of internal memory (unable to run apps on SD card). I have rooted it and tried to relocate my main memory to SD card but no luck with what I need it for. Really I need marshmallow where I can sync the internal and external memory as one. Anyone offer any help? Thanks, Kieran.
Hey Guys,
Recently my wife broke her galaxy note 4 ( IKR? ) and she is using an Xperia m4 aqua 8gb one until we figure out if it's better to fix the note or buy a new one, or learn to coexist with the Sony phone.
Now the thing is that we have the 8GB version, which leaves us with roughly 0 MB to use (she can't even update whatsapp, and all she has is whatsapp and facebook on the phone) and i'm trying to figure out, should I try flashing a custom ROM that shouldn't be as heavy as the stock cellular provider ROM that filled most of her memory with junk, or is this just a band aid solution and she will still have insufficient space to enjoy a normal phone?
Also, I can't literally understand why would Sony make a 8GB phone, but who am I to judge?
I would really appreciate any opinion on the matter, thanks in advance!
Fix the Note 4
Good news is M4 aqua is possible to fix.
You can have 16 GB adoptive storage, very smooth and fast system and _very_long_ battery life.
Bad news is that it is little difficult, needs very fast sd-card (example sony 64GB 95MBs) and needs much time.
I recommed to try anyway.
1. Backup all data (sms, contacts, whatsapp etc.)
2 remember to take backup of drm-keys
https://forum.xda-developers.com/m4-aqua/general/guide-backup-ta-drm-keys-unlocking-t3260209
3. take sim card and sd-card off
4. Insert fast sd-card but no sim.
5 install prerooted system
https://forum.xda-developers.com/m4-aqua/development/rom-6-0-1-xperia-m4-aqua-t3423264
Start phone. log in to wifi, but no to google or anything else.
6. Create adoptive storage. mixed 75% works fine on 64GB card(16GB adoptive)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/m4-aqua/general/adoptive-storage-marshmallow-t3421828
Select migrate data on settings - storage- sd-card (You can rename adopdet partition)
Now you can log in to google and update applications.
some goes internal, nut example facebook goes to adopted.
If everything goes fine you can put sim-card to phone.
Hi guys! One of my best phone is M4 aqua. Sadly the internal storage was not enough, therefore I updated it to Android 6.0.1 because it has the feature for adoptable sd card.
I done it too, with a fast 16gb samsung sd card.
But this is extremly slow right now. The programs does not starts, or quit with crash errors. For example facebook or messenger needs to start at least 4-5 times before it started and not rerports any crash.
Why is this? Can u help me?
