Nexus 6P Benchmark Thread - Nexus 6P General

Hi everyone, this thread is an attempt to consolidate all of the benchmarks amongst all of the different roms and kernels we are using. The purpose of this thread is to supply those who are curious with factual information as to what combinations of kernels, roms, and customizations they may use to have full benefit of their phone.
Please post the following:
1) Phone rom name & version
2) Antutu Benchmark photo(plus others if you'd like, but antutu as the standard)
3) Battery Life photo (any segment of 8+ hours is sufficient to show average battery life, post 100% to 0% if you would like)
4) Any customization that you may be using (different kernel, overlock, underclock, governor choice, i/o scheduler, etc.)
My submission:
1) Benzo Rom 2015/12/21-Angler
2)

Here's mine...
ROM: Cyanogenmod 9 Alpha 2
TWEAKS: using setcpu to make my TouchPad go into deep sleep (192mhz max and min.) while the screen is off.
LIFE: Can squeeze 12 hours with hours of gaming and browsing.

Does your touchscreen ever become unresponsive after waking it up with that low of a setcpu setting?
No. I have never lost any responsiveness. The only time I had a problem was when I locked it and itsleeped while temple run was running. Then the game became choppy and I had to restart the round

I've just started using Juice Defender (purchase version) to switch my WiFi off when the screen goes blank. I've put some exceptions in too, so Titanium Backup and others can wake the data connection up for syncing if required. Improved standby power saving considerably.
JD also shuts off Wifi after a little while of no data throughout. This can be handy if you are doing something that does not require data, such as games.
Orange, just a suggestion, use powersave scaling when sleep is on. This will peg the clockspeed to the minimum. The only difference between that and what you are currently doing is that it will no longer need to scan to see if it needs to increase or decrease the clockspeed.Theoretically it should save battery.

[Q] Does Perseus kernel give a better battery life?

I'm currently running Omega V43.2 on my phone and it works like a charm (No lag). Average battery life is 1 day and 2/3 hours on screen. I'm thinking that changing the stock kernel to Perseus may help improve my battery life but wonder if Perseus kernel really does the magic. Some advice is much needed thanks
+1
If you leave default settings, yeah.
If you optimize it even more for battery life, then heck yeah.
If you configure it incorrectly / aggressively for performance - you may actually reduce it.

eh, it's not superb
it made my battery life better

thanks maybe i should try it out.
Battery life depends on your signal strength, data transfer, running apps and usage scenario.
For my usage, 3hours is pretty good, others have far more

[Q] Bad battery life

Hello, 3 days ago I've installed CM10.1 nightly build from 2013-07-25 on my friend's Galaxy S III (international), now his battery life is really bad and he's complaining on me, any way I can improve the battery life?
Here goes a screenshot (as you can see, he wasn't even using the phone when the battery just dropped 50%):

Cyanogen mod roms are known to drain battery much faster than touchwiz.so you cant really expect the battery life to be the same as on stock or stock based roms. you may improve the battery life by using an app called Greenify. it hibernates apps so that they will not run in the backround. this can help considerably. also make sure to turn off gps , bluetooth, wifi. and mobile data when not in use.
well first tell your "friend" that thats how things are in AOSPs. Secondly use differrent kernels and proper setting to get max battery (tutorials are available) plus greenify apps you do not use. And the usual killers as GPS/WiFi/NFC/3G use only when needed or turn them off..
Something is extremely wrong there. Get a normal usage BBS dump and post it here. Also take screenshots of the BBS pages.
Also post a screenshot of your battery stats page (one that shows which apps drain battery).

Your SOT ( Screen On Time) from your custom Rom...

Hi Note8 Lovers
I think if we share our Battery life and SOT from own favorite Custom Rom, will be useful for all.
Write your information's with this method:
Android version: ---Custom Rom name: ---Custom Rom Version: ---Custom Kernel name: ---Custom Kernel Version: ---Any Description (if you want): -----
Good luck :good:
And what exactly will it be useful for ?
Sent from my Galaxy Note8 using XDA Labs
Most of people after root and install one custom Rom because of busy job can't test all custom Rom.
And one of important parameters of custom Roms is Battery and SOT.
Good luck
my highest from lightrom is 6.32hours of sot while aod was off..with aod on i got around 5 hours of sot...best battery backup..
Ironman Rom v 1.2.0
Xceed Kernel v 4.4.13
6 hours SOT /26 hours total from Last Charge..
With AOD permanently on, WiFi/4g/voLTE/voWiFi permanently on and everyday Bluetooth on when i am in the car (twice a day minimum) about 1-2 hour Bluetooth per day.. Also the brightness is all day at 60-70% only at bedtime i can't handle much brightness and i have it at 30-40%.. The resolution chosen is wqhd+ and use all stuff like Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Spotify, lots of web browsing and a little bit of YouTube not much though..
This is the right way to say about your battery status.. Including the total hours device is on from the last charge..

Thermal throttling

I recently did 2 tests regarding performance as far as I've seen lag spikes and fps drops in pubg by the end of the matches when the device heats really much :

In the first one, there's my phone in the freezer, then, outside the freezer. You can clearly see the difference.
I'm using abc with radon and downloaded the radon app and forced the min frequencies to be maximum. Even in these circumstances, frequencies will drop when temperature rises too much.
Is there any tweak to be made to remove the throttling at all ? Thanks.
If you disable it your device will burn

It really works, lol. I was about to replace the thermal paste to the chip but it doesn't heat that much to be necessary. Thanks.
will this work on redmi 4a ?
im on aex 4.8 oreo 8.1

Buy AC or Buy big freezer twice your size. or Antartica may be the best place to play pubg. Or Neptune or Pluto is last option.
Change rom nd flash aex extended 8.1 with stock kernel. It is the best stabe rom. Benchmark upto 81-85k
In system/vendor/etc thermal-engine.conf you can edit it and change the frequencies that the cpu is throttled to or flash agni (includes increased thermals)
