Hello,
I have chinese tablet Irulu eXpro X1, and recently i've tried to root him, i did as is written here : androidtablets.net/threads/allwinner-a33-4-4-2-kitkat-rooted.70443/ and it worked, but after some time i've noticed that tablet after reset are coming to factory settings. Initially i've thought that this is problem with BusyBox ( like this : android.stackexchange.com/questions/52406/why-does-bad-busybox-installation-in-system-xbin-cause-problems ) but deleting BB didn't worked. I've removed root, and did factory reset through recovery, and nothing happens, the problem still exists. Moreover i've noticed that attempting to root tablet again ends up with error, because of complete reset after reboot. Do you have any idea what can i do to fix this issue ?
PS. I'm not native in english, so I'm sorry if i made mistakes.
Anyone can help ? The case is getting worse, auto-rotation of screen stopped working, and after some time of using android show up random errors like "Unfortunately, xxx has stopped"

Hi everyone!
I hope I'm in the right forum, I'm sorry if I'm not but I just don't know if that's a android general issue or a specific tablet issue.
So here it is, I just bought the ASUS memo pad HD 7. ( That was my 1st mistake :silly: )
Just after opened the box, I tried to root the device, because of the many useless apps factory installed in it. I installed Titanium Backup and I tried to unistall one or two app to test it.
After that, I was like " Hey... maybe it would be better to update the tablet first, and then root it ", because I don't know if update after a root delete the root ( like a jailbreak on iOS).
So, I proceeded to a factory reset, following this tuto: you tube /watch?v=rMTzwG1IOcc
After that, I started to update the device normally ( actually it started automaticly on startup ). And, during installation ( Green robot on full screen ) it stops and shows:
image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2014/05/1391332670-error.jpg ( copy/paste in browser )
Does the factory reset not a good un-root thing? I thought it would just restore the tablet exactly how it was before the root
How to clean everything properly and make the update works?
Thanks for reading! Hope you'll know how to fix this
Hello all,
Since couple of days my phone is acting really weird. Here are the specs:
Brand: Huawei U8800 ideos X5
Rom : Aurora 4.1, update 20
Recovery: cwm
I was installing an app from the market and suddenly the phone restarts and every app starts to crash (Unfortunately...... has stopped) with the downloading app stuck at the notification at 80 % forever without progressing. The weird thing is I can't uninstall any app. I can uninstall, but after booting every app uninstalled appears as if it's not Uninstalled at all.
So I decide to do a factory reset using CWM. Cwm says reset is successful, so I restart the phone and see nothing has changed. It's as if no reset has been done and the crashing continues.
So I decide to go for Stock rom (Gingerbread). After following the official installation steps the phone says the installation is successfull and restarts automatically. When the phone boots up all I see is old Aurora Rom and the same old crash of apps(all apps crashes a_z).
This is so weird. I have never seen this before and have been googling since 2 days without any solution.
I request xda devs to help me on this.
Regards

When you're flashing back to stock have you tried to wipe every partition including your internal SD?
Also how soon does the crashing begin after you flash your ROM?, because if the crashing begins as soon you boot up, you may have a hardware issue and of course the only way to solve that would be to send your phone into warrenty if you can.
Hi tidaboy9
I can't actually flash any roms. If I do, it says the flash is successful, but after the restart nothing will change. Whatever I do in the phone, it will restore everything after reboot, apps, history , etc .
By wiping partition, do u mean flashing stock partition. That I did.
All I want to do is do a hard reset, wipe everything and start new, but I am unable to due to above mentioned reasons. And yes, the crash begins soon after the reboot.
Please tell me this not hardware related as it is not under warranty.
Thanks
Hey people,
I have a big problem and I am a big noob what contains to software, hardware is my thing.
Lets get straight to the point......
I have rooted my device(Kingzone K2) with Kingroot on Android lolipop 5.1.
the first time i tried to root it would not work because my phone had a unknown version of android or something like that, so i reported that to kingroot and a month later they made it possible to root on my device.
now I have rooted my device but I started up my phone and all of a sudden my phone was reset to factory setting.
I thought it would have been a accident with android devicemanager.
And up following I wanted to download apps and stuff but it gave me the error that Android.procces.media was stopped.
And the apps wont download I tried everything to download them, also camera and gallery wont work for the same reason.
So can someone please help me with this problem.......
Thanks.
Ive got an android tablet that is having trouble after rooting with kingroot.
Worked fine for a while after rooting, main reason I rooted was to remove the bloatware installed (full of disney apps etc)
After removing the apps, then i started having trouble after reboot, and the following message keeps appearing and wont go away.
"unfortunatley, the process com.android.systemui has stopped"
Hopefully im asking in the right area here, but im hoping i can find a decent firmware with the bloatware removed , and hope that flashing will fix this once and for all at the same time.
What complicates this is that this model is for the New Zealand market and i think they are renaming another model number for New Zealand.
If another firmware is available that i can flash onto this tablet, it would be great thanks

Its produced by southernTelecom

If it's any help, I'm having the same problem, still unable to find a solution, mines the ST13, but have the same problem with "com.android.systemui" - Be keen if you find a solution, I'm happy to restore the original ROM (or custom) but unable to find either as yet.
Here's hoping...
net nanny

net nanny is hardcoded and dont remove netlauncher 3 . if you deleted it, it breaks the android.ui and there is no recovery image.
If anyone can come up with a ROM image, that would be great.
I also have been told here to try downloading net nanny off google play.
Apparently that works.

If a ROM could be found it would be great.
I got mine working again after reinstalling the netnanny app from the play store, fixed it. But it still does not run flash.
Net nanny
re downloading net nanny from the play store does work, at least to get it working again. I had a problem that after that message popped up a few times (com.android.systemui failed to load) or whatever, I couldnt click on anything. AFTER I factory reset the tablet, that problem stopped. The message kept popping up, but I was able to click "OK" and type a few letters on the setup page lol. I got into the play store, found net nanny, downloaded it, and SHAZAM! Its working again. i JUST WANT TO PLAY MY GAMES LOL. THANKS TO WHOEVER FOUND THIS OUT! I hope this helps the next person that un-installs net nanny lol. BTW, I contacted southern telecom and said I got a virus or whatever and requested a website to download the firmware, so if they give me that information, I will share it with you all
Any news on that link for the firmware
Playing with a ST13 now, the os disappeared and tablet is stuck at bootloader, unable to do anything at this point. Windows does not recognize tablet and now I am out of options.
Anyone have any ideas thoughts?
Hello! this is my first thread.
Normally I wouldn't take the trouble to write about a problem of this sort and just search for a similar and resolved one in forums, but this time I couldn't find any.
My tablet is a Polaroid a900x, used mostly for work and social media. It was working incredibly fine before I installed Xposed and an Xposed module along with it over a year ago. Now every time I boot it, it shows the logo and never arrives to the home screen, instead there appears constantly these error messages:
"Unfortunately, Stresstest for 5.0 has stopped.
"Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped.
"Unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped.

Even if I click "Ok" on all of them, they keep appearing.
So far I have tried to wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition without success.
Could someone help me find a solution or explain to me what happened?
I already took it to a "Technic" which just told me I should better buy a new one, preferably of a "better" brand...
Thanks in advance! (and I hope this is the right forum)
