No Lollipop Update? - Verizon LG G3

Recently just restored my phone to complete stock (with the TOT file and everything) after being rooted and now my phone is stuck on 4.4.2 and no OTAs are coming in. Anybody know why? Thanks!

[Q] Update Unrooted Phone

Sooo, pretty self explanitory, I rooted my Galaxy S4, got some OTA update, which unrooted me. I tried to do the Motochopper method again by downgrading my build number but now ODEN won't do it. My current build number is JDQ39.I545VRUAME7. ROM manager still thinks CWM is installed but I can't boot into it. Any tips on what I should do?
Wait until you are able to fully root again.

[Q] Stock Lollipop firmware complete factory reset?

A friend of mine has a Verizon GS4 and is trying to run the OTA update, but for some reason his device status is Custom so the update won't go through. He's fine doing a factory reset. Are the Lollipop files available yet, and, if so, is it possible to flash them without being rooted or having any recovery installed whatsoever?
Basically, can a Verizon GS4 have 100% stock Lollipop flashed over an existing 4.4.2 installation without custom anything?
lollipop files aren't even out yet, nobody captured the ota
best to probably odin back to a 4.4.2 ROM so you can start off clean

Stock Andriod Upgrade to Lollipop of Rooted VS985 ..... Confused.

Hi, i am rooted VS985 with king root, installed TWRP and on Stock 4.4.2 and rooted for deleting all pre loaded verizon and amazon apps and did some changes in system folders like hidden menu etc .. all deleted not today when i connected my PC software assistance tool , it says update is available.. see thumbnails
Now, i am confused if i update my rooted device , can i brick my phone?
please someone guide me, should i go for this update or NOT??
If you ran the update through the tool it would fail since you are rooted and don't have stock recovery installed anymore. It's good practice to never update the phone via OTA or tool if you are rooted and/or have a custom recovery installed.
To update to the latest firmware, use twrp to flash the 35B (5.1.1) version of Skydragon, jasminerom, or xdabbeb's in the Verizon G3 android development section. All are stock based ROM's and run great. 5.1.1 has been a godsend for this phone. Much smoother and better battery life.

Trouble: XT925 Unlocked, Rooted, CyanogenMod ==> Stock 4.1.1 ==> Upgrade 4.4.2

Awhile back, I unlocked and rooted my Motorola Droid Razr HD running 4.1.1. Then I installed a custom ROM (Cyanogen). Time has passed and to upgrade Cyanogen, I understand I have to upgrade to 4.4.2. I'm finally ready to do this. So I did a restore back to 4.1.1. All seems good there. But when I try to upgrade to 4.4.2, it fails and the phone keeps power cycling on and off (running 4.1.1). That's from an OTA update. USB update says no update available, so that does not seem to be an option. I'm at a loss as to where to go from here. I did a restore back to 4.1.1, so now the phone is not power cycling. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong please (to update to 4.4.2)? This is my first phone doing all this advanced stuff, so it could be something simple this newbie is missing. TIA.

Are you on VZW with a valid SIM card and are you on stock, unrooted and it's not modified? If any of your answers to even one of those questions is a "no" that is why. Considering you're still on Lollipop and MM has been out for a long time, my feeling is you have a modified image of some sort. If you rooted and then just removed root without flashing back to stock, that won't do it. Once rooted, you have modified the system partition of you phone and it will no longer accept OTAs.
If you have reflashed to stock, what did you use? From what I remember, if you used an earlier KDZ image before Marshmallow, there is a particular KDZ image that was based on a pre-release version I believe and it will NOT allow OTAs to come through.
You can always flash the latest MM image via KDZ but it's like a factory reset so back up all data (photos, etc) on your internal memory before you do it.
This thread explains how to flash via KDZ if you don't know how:
