Did you follow the instructions ENTIRELY from the guide you used?
I have an HD6 and it worked. When you turn it on, does it show the Amazon logo at all? If it does, leave it, since first bootup is long. If the logo doesn't show and you can't boot into recovery, go to Amazon support claiming you don't know what happened, they'll give you back a refurbished one.
Well i talked to amazon and my hd fire 7 is out of warranty. So i got a new one with the sd card for 30 bucks instead of 50. But when it shows up literally there is just a black screen no logo no nothing. I followed it completely but i flashed the 5.2.2 u recovery instead of 5.2.0.
I also have noticed that it is stuck in a preloader loop as every 5 seconds it will launch MT65XX but dont know what to do next.

excuse me but, did you try connecting the charger for a while?
the stock factory charger...
I have a bricked one here for days, stuck at recovery. from time to time it does this: a black screen and preloader looping.
I connect it to the charger for a while and then it can go to recovery screen again.

So I upgraded to a custom ROM, everything appeared good.
I then did a factory reset via menu>settings. Phone didn't boot up past the Sony Ericsson splash screen.
So I rebooted it into recovery. Did another full wipe there. Still wouldn't boot past the splash screen.
It stayed on the splash screen for a few hours then is went off. Not it won't boot at all.
I can no longer get it to boot into recovery.
When I connect it to Flashtool nothing appears to happen except the red LED flashes twice quickly.
When I try to turn it on all that happens is the red LED flashes twice quickly.
When I plug it in after a couple minutes it boots to the Sony Ericsson splash screen, stays there for a while and then the screen goes off again.
What can I try? Any advice would be Great.

the red led flahes means it has very low charge left.
charge it for 1-2 hours and then try flashing stock firmware via flashtool.
If it doesnt work, then put the battery in other phone or external charger and charge it.
Then try to flash stock firmware.
Also, AFAIK you should not do a wipe from settings menu on a custom rom ( I might be wrong about this )

That's what I assumed, but it flashes red like that after being on the charger for 8 hours.
And the battery is not dead because I was getting multiday usage out of it last week.
But I will try what you suggested again. It is on the charger right now...

Honestly I'm not going to go out and buy another accessory for a phone that may or may not be dead (espesially since I would have to order it online).
Maybe I can find a friend that has a X10 though.

OK I found someone that has an Xperia Play and it appears they both use the BST-41. I'm gonna see him tommorow. Hopefully with a fresh battery I can get it to boot into recovery...

Hello, my Galaxy S3 is stuck on a boot loop.
It's a rooted S3, forgot what firmware. I think it's the latest one whichever that is. I used Odin.
It will not go into recovery or download mode no matter how many times I have tried. And will not connect to my computer at all, tried connecting to Odin and Kies but still nothing. Tried everything I could think of.
When going into download mode, after pressing continue, it shows a loading screen with the Android in the middle and status on top left. Then goes back to the boot loop after ~3 seconds.
When going into recovery mode, it begins to load recovery then reboots into the boot loop after about ~3 seconds.
About 30 min before the boot loop began, a notification popped up saying my SD Card is damaged and asked if I wanted to format it. I declined and rebooted my phone and it went away. So I assumed everything was okay. Then after charging my phone I unplugged it and it worked fine. Locked it, then tried to unlock it again but nothing happened. Held the power button then I see the boot loop begin.
I have crucial data on my phone that I need and would prefer being able to save everything before formatting.
So, what next? Any ideas?

Read the post you actually quoted, it suggests what to do.

Try to remove the battery and connect it again for sometimes, and try to go to download mode, and not to Recovery mode.
If you try several times you will succeed to enter into the download mode, then you can enter into the recovery mode also, and if you wipe Delvik cache the phone starts to work normally. I encountered this problem 3 times that's because of some conflicts in operation of Android. Something like what happened some months ago in WhatsApp.
The phone told me there was a new update I started to install it, got to reboot and now is just on the elephone logo which comes every 20 sec and goes again. I cannot turn the phone off or do anything with it. Any help please

so my battery was fully empty now.. i even pressed the power button 100 times after the battery was empty, to make sure all current is out of the phone.
plugged in charger... after 10 seconds phone start itself (after viewing the picture of empty battery) and elephone logo shows short and then back to showing picture of empty batterie cycle. After some minutes, and battery is loaded a little bit, elephone logo cycles again.
So rest in piece my p9000, i can nothing, i cant do anything from my pc because its only starting for like 5 seconds, i cant shut it down because of that and i cant get in factory mode
i am so pissed right now
just wanted to install the new update, everything worked fine like all the times before that and now my phone is ready for the trashcan.
Is there any way to reset the software without getting in factory mode?

Same for me, I have no idea how to restart my phone. And i dont want to loose all data I have on it.

Its actually a great phone. Do you have twrp installed and can you get access to it? You could always boot into twrp transfer over the ROM and install it from there. If you have installed the vcom drivers then when the USB not recognized alert pops up. Go to settings and device manager. Right click the unknown device and click let me pick driver. You should be able to install it from there
The only thing I can suggest is to take the back panel of and unplug the battery. There videos on how to do this if you search YouTube or the forum. Effectively you perform a hard reset of the phone.
If and when you do get it working just twrp installed and do a backup of the whole phone working before performing any future upgrades or Rom changes. Its just better safe then sorry.
thenk you very much for that
The problem is that when I connect the phone on the off to the pc starts again the cycling through the elephone logo so the pc sees the phone for a few seconds in which does not recognises it and then is like the phone goes off until the next cycle so no time to go to device manager and install manually. but thank you for the comment.
removing the battery will void the warranty. I had the phone only since may.
It's unlikely it really matters. Your phone seller not going to take it back or fix it for free just because it's bootlopping. Well they may so just ask them. If you can't get it into recovery then a battery disconnect or contact your seller are your options
thank you

My honor 7 is stuck in bootloop I've tried to enter recovery mode but I can't turn the phone off as it keeps restarting and getting stuck at the same screen. The screen gets stuck on "Honor Powered By Android" and doesn't get past this. The phone is rooted but by an app from the play store as I didn't know how to root it through the computer. The screen has been stuck in bootloop before but after couple of restarts it has been getting past but this time I can't seem to turn it off or get past this. Only time i can get it to turn off is when the battery is dead but even then it will load right back to that same screen without me doing anything. Anyone that could help would appreciate it thanks.
alright . download a stock official update . send to ur SD Card into folder Named dload ., ( update file name should be (.app) not zip

Use the latest firmware for your phone. You can easily get it by just googling it. Should be more than 1 GB.

Hey y'all hopefully I haven't rendered this phone completely useless, but I had rooted it some while ago and it was working like a charm until one day it froze, restarted, and bootlooped. When I left it alone for about an hour, it would boot to the OS but restarted and bootlooped after 5 minutes tops. I followed the steps by thejesus to install the original rom and basically unroot it. Now my issue is now not only is it bootlooping when I try to turn it on, but when I try to boot into recovery to do the reset, it won't even boot into recovery. It gives me those 2 options I say yes to with the volume keys and power button, but after I press okay it goes right back to the LG logo, the "your device can't be checked for corruption" text then back to the LG logo ad nauseam.
