Another ROM for you guys to try. I made this from CM13. I added the commit to fix data issues. It is compliant with xposed and gravitybox.
ROM: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B97V_YadJs2bUkFjdWpYWHpxaDA/view?usp=docslist_api
Xposed flash in recovery https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B97V_YadJs2bYXpnaC1DcExYU0U/view?usp=docslist_api. See Rovo89s thread on xposed.
Xposed apk to install:https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B97V_YadJs2bSllSckdaZTg5dXM/view?usp=docslist_api
Xposed uninstaller to be flashed in recovery:

Gapps to flash:

And gravitybox.

Any surprises for us ?
Nope. Didn't feel the need to make a bunch of changes since xposed works well. And gravity box. Next build will include several governors. And default sleep CPU freq at 300mhz.

I'm losing a lot of battery in standby mode. However, of I turn mobile data off, I lose about 1% every 5 hours which should be the case. Are you experiencing the same issue?
Mobile data is still not working on cm13 at all without toggling airplane mode. It needs more work. SHM has it working on Candy 6. I cherry picked that commit to make it work and made this ROM. Battery life is the same on this ROM as Candy. When more work is done on data I will merge it here as well. Note I got 18 hours screen on time on this ROM as well as Candy. I will look into cell data more and see what I can find. I still have governors to ads to this ROM. I can add the ability to not enable mobile data when WiFi is on.

Man, I'm not even getting 8 hours of screen time. I'm using the Candy ROM. Have you checked out the screenshots I PMed you ?
If that's the car it could be an app installed causing it. Or even a bad cell signal. If you are in an area with low or no signal it will cause the radio to constantly be trying to get a better signal. Tower hop. Hard to say. 8 hours is horrible.

Maybe wipe and start fresh. Don't restore apps using twrp or titanium. Let android do it after install. Wipe cache and dalvik cache.

I always wipe cache and dalvik before installing new ROMs. I only use a couple of apps, so I don't want to really believe that the problem might be there.

Man, I'm going back to stock JB ROM. If you haven't noticed until now, I'm obsessed with battery life and getting less than 8 hours of screen time is killing me. All these new ROMs seem unfriendly to battery.
Here're screenshots of my battery consumption. I didn't even get 8 hours of on screen time. If the battery stats are to be believed, I've lost 3382mah and I'm down to 5% of battery. This means a full charge corresponds to 3560mah. If the battery capacity is 3900mah, then 340mah is unaccounted for. But 3600mah is still a lot of battery. Can someone check his battery stats so that I can compare it with mine and know what's wrong. I'm using Candy ROM.
@Moody66, I'm going to put your suggestion to test. I'm going to do a clean install of the ROM in this thread. After that, I won't install any app and then I'll let it sleep for 7 hours while mobile data is on.

I currently have super clean 2.9.1 + voodoo kernel with JAMT minimalist theme, but I feel like I'm losing more battery than usual.
I had 2 full days of moderate usage right out of the box (wifi always on and screen half the brightness), but now it drops down to 20~30% for about 7 hours of moderate usage with 0 brightness. Also I'm getting random shut-downs at least once a day.
I've now calibrated my battery (at least I think so...don't know for sure), but the battery life stayed the same as before; short.
I'm impressed that I get 1500~1700 on Quadrant, but I don't know if that performance is ever needed for my usage...
I suspect that everyone gets different results with all the roms, but anyway which rom is the most stable with excellent battery life, and with no crash in general?

Random shut-down is probably caused by not flashin ROM properly.

I've just flashed SC 2.9.2 NV/EC10 and it is working flawless right now.

I've already gone back to stock to 2.9.1 about 7 times, and yes I flashed Bstats.zip since the "wipe battery stat" option did not work.
Perhaps repetitive rom installation causes the crash? I don't know for sure...
It shouldn't crash even after times of flashin.
I've flashed my phone like 15 times now but works just fine.
Just go to CWM mode and Wipe Cache/Dalvik/Data and reinstall the ROM.

Nandroid Backup Backups to EXACT state u have backed it up. So, it would cause crashing again. I recommend you to backup data using TiBu(Titanium Backup). Then install ROM. I know it sucks to back up apps again, but better than your phone keep crashin, right?

Hello everyone,
My s6 Edge does not go to sleep. It drains huge amount of battery while idle.
I need urgent help. I have disabled all AT&T bloatware. But it still does not work.
I have also tried hard resetting it, it does not work. Battery continues to drain.
Thank You.
Is this something new or has it always been like this? Btw, which version of LP are you on? 5.0.2 or 5.1.1?

5.0.2 seems to be notorious for battery drains...check if your device has the 5.1.1 update which seems to be better in terms of RAM management. Also, are you data or wifi...if on data, then LP is again notorious for a world famous "mobile radio active" bug...it's all over the web...So, the best solution would be to either put the phone in deep freezer until Google fixes the huge bugs in LP or sell your phone...just kidding...
After updating your device (if there's any), do a factory reset...it should solve your problems...hopefully
Does not go to sleep? Check your settings about screen timeout..The battery drain can be fixes through system update..if samsung has any update ready

I was going to say just make sure you dont have too many apps running and you can also download a battery saving app on the play store for free which can help. It sounds like theres something you have running draining your battery though. Keep in mind however that the galaxy s6 edge when charged to 100 percent can hold a charge for quite awhile, but if your only charging it too around 40 or 50 percent it will die rather quickly.

Your best bet is to install TWRP, root, and flash "No deep sleep fix", thats if you dont care about tripping knox of course.
Seems like an aggressive suggestion since we don't know the root cause yet. It might not be a wake lock issue; it could be location tracking or updates getting stuck. I'd rather see the battery stats first.
Screen is not even on the list, i haven't used my device for more than 15-20 mins (used chrome & inbox for 15-20 mins in the morning)

Google Services like I thought. There's a number of things that can cause this as it's quite a fundamental service. The most simple fixes are:
- Make sure there's no pending updates in the Play store. These can work havoc with the battery when waiting for manual approval
- If this doesn't work, remove your google account, reboot and re-add it. For some reason this can fix the sync issues that cause drain
- Still no dice? The next one is to backup, factory format then restore your backup. It's a bit extreme but sometimes when you update your software it causes a glitch that only goes away with a factory format
Each time you try a fix, let the battery fully charge then check the stats a couple of hours later.
Thanks for the suggestion, I will let u know the results soon.

You're welcome. If it's any conciliation I had exactly the same issue and fixed it this morning with those steps.

Tried the third step many times before, didn't work.
So, yesterday I tried the 1st & 2nd step, worked like a charm, I was happy but today, the same results (battery was draning like i was playing games). So I completely removed my google account and left my phone for a few hours. Here is the result (see attached). As you can see no Stupid Google Play Services in the list but what is eating my battery ????

Again, LP has a world famous bug called the "Mobile Radio Active" bug. What this means that if an app uses the data services for some odd reason LP keeps the mobile radio open even if the app does not need it any more...So, for all you know ur issue is Android related and not your device specific. Oh btw, the upcoming M also has this confounded bug...so I believe we will be plagued by this bug for the foreseeable future...And I dumped my iPhone for this buggy Android...Dang!
How is your reception, If most of the time your phone struggle to get reception, it may be part of the problem, just my 2 cents, not an expert, but myself trying to get rid of the google service battery bug...
Better battery stats would give detailed information as to the cause, yet it requires root on all lollipop devices. Helped me find the exact cause of my phone never sleeping
Since taking Marshmallow, I'm sure there are questions/differences/issues people have with their V10s and might like to ask/share/comment on. Although this has been a fairly seamless update, I do have an issue/question:
I used to be able to access the phone app in App manager to clear my voicemail notifications. I can no longer do that in the same fashion as I the app list has been extremely streamlined, like system apps don't even show up on my phone(no matter which list I choose from dropdown). Can someone point me in the right direction to find it again please? Thanks!
I'm having battery drainage issues. I have done a factory reset and recalibrated the battery. Anybody else?
My wife is having horrible battery drainage also. Before the marshmallow update she could leave her phone sitting all night and only loose about 5% battery, now she looses a around 30% very two hours and it says its the android os draining the battety.
Same here. Just wiped the cache to see if that fixes the battery drain issue. Screen, Android os, and phone idle are each taking about 20% of the battery, according to the status monitor. I can't get through 5 hours without running out of juice..
...04.21 I wiped the cache and it had no noticeable effect. I factory reset yesterday, 4.20 and that appears to have made a significant difference. I'm only down 9% over the past 2.5 hours.
As you might imagine, factory resetting after a is Upgrade should not be necessary. The amount of time it takes to restore everything is a major hassle.
Thumbs up me if this helped you.

Unless my understanding of Portuguese is wrong, you seem to have 66% left, after 4 hours of use. That is 8.5% per hour. If you were using your phone actively during those 4 hours, it seems that you will get about 11 hours SOT, which sounds pretty good to me. If your phone was not being used at all during these 4 hours, then that would be pretty bad.

You should get more than 4 hours SOT - and the screenshot that you gave in the OP shows that you would get at least double that. I am not sure how your battery can go from 66% (as show in the OP) to 1% in less than an hour. Right now, you leave us guessing about too many things. It is not clear how exactly you are using your phone, how many apps you have installed, what are they, what exactly are they doing, how you have tested your battery to determine your SOT, etc.
To find out what is the problem, think you first have to start with a clean ROM. As someone has said, do a clean flash first (wipe data, dalvik/ART, and cache, and flash the ROM). You should first backup your apps before doing that. Install "PCMark" from the play store, and run the PCMark battery test with the clean ROM. Then restore your apps. Then run the PCMark battery test again. Then we can see whether there is a problem.
By the way, here is a good way to test your battery drain.

I think 4hrs was not SOT and not the heavy usage either, because it shows top battery drainer was the system itself. I think solution to his problem is to try another kernel OR fresh clean install of ROM. If you do not want to handle apps and backup then may be just try kernel. I faced the same issue on RR because i did dirty flash (wipe: cache, dalvik, system only). I am using below mentioned kernel and it solved my problem. Plus i use kernel adiutor app to change cpu usage, but i have found that it has troubles sometimes. (i can't change values of max/min cpu speed & Governor settings, "sometimes")

app: kernel adiutor
rom: dirty flashed RR 5.8.3 (18/06) for mido

I have tried pretty much all AOSP ROMs and I am finding that all of them have huge number of wakelocks. At night my phone is awake for about 1.5 to 2 hours out of 7-8 hours and drains 7-10% battery over this time. Even with clean install and only minimum apps installed.
In battery useage apps they show up as Kernel (Android OS) and Linage OS System in battery usage apps. Any idea how to find and resolve this?
same for me!

I am doing a test by clean flashing, not installing any apps and not even installing Gapps to see if the same drain happens. Will report back.
Cleaned flashed, NO GAPPS, NO other apps, left phone for 8 hours, lost 8%. "Significant motion detector" was awake for 2.5 hours. Same wakelock on all ROMs, seems like an issue with this phone. I don't know if it happens on MIUI but I guess no?
It might be because all the ROMs are based on the initial work of mdeejay and tingyichen, as I understand it. All the AOSP ROMs are basically the same, only varying in tiny amounts of superficial stuff that is added to them.
Did you try the unofficial OmniROM build? It's the only non-Lineage ROM that's developed from scratch (by ex-CM devs), and to me it does feel different than all the rest, in a positive way.
use better battery stats for understanding the culprit. i am on 8.1 AEX and overnight drain is 0.5%. 0n miui it was 1%.
Sent from my vince using XDA Labs
What phone do you have ? 3/32 or 4/64? And what baseband firmware? I ask because I had same 1% per hour drain on aex too. I wonder if having encryption on makes a difference?
I am tired of trying new roms and kernels but all behave the ssme. 35% time awake
Can you try to post a Better Battery Stats log? Is your WiFi turned on during idle?

No, everything turned off, only mobile signal. Also tried in airplane mode.

Please post a Log from Better Battery Stats. The only thing I can think of is that weak signal is draining your device's battery.
