Anyone else notice the cameras on Snapchat are fuzzy/have noise ? Is there a fix to make the cameras look like camera app quality ?

I have ICS 4.0.2 and the image quality is crap. The pictures I take are all blurred and have a lot of noise.
Is there a way to reduce compression or otherwise improve quality?

u can try some third party camera app from stores and see
Camera Fx, Camera ICS+, Camera360(only still photo), U-cam etc.
Hello! This is my first post here in the galaxy s5 forum... has anyone noticed that instagram blurs photos? I have taken quite a few awesome shots with this camera and even when im editing them in instagram they look great, but when I upload it the picture looks all blury.. does this have something to do with the high quality image process thing on instagram?
I find that Instagram definitely lowers the quality of photos. It seems the only photos that are perfect quality with Instagram are photos take on the iPhone.... :/ I wish they would change this for Android. A 16MP camera is a shame to waste.
This is a known bug with the crappy instagram app on Android.

Alright so as the title above says, I want a way to disable photo processing because in my opinion, photo processing totally ruins the photo's quality, so if you all have a suggestion or an idea feel free to share it with me and other z2 users.
By the way, I think it's possible because I downloaded Aosp 6.0 by rcstarr6696 and it didn't have camera photo processing and the photo I took with front facing camera( which is well known for taking 100% pink :laugh:looking photo in low light) it didn't had grain or anything I was completely cut off guard, hope you all know a way to disable it :good::fingers-crossed:
Download google camera or snap camera from the play store. You can also flash camera next or moto camera if you are rooted.

If you've UB'd then there is no post processing..
Has anyone found a camera app that records 720p 120fps(slowmo) on any custom rom other than miui based ? All i can see is that no 3rd party app can record 120p 720p like mi camera would do, they only cut the fps to a quarter and make it slowmo, it's really frustating taking in consideration that both chipset and camera are capable of recording 120fps at 720p, but i couldn't find any camera app that does that other than mi camera. Any solution is appreciated, thanks.
Hi guys
I've seen that many people are interested to get anx camera working. I'm on newest syberia and anx is working.
But I'm wondering why all wanna have this app.
In my comparision anx cam to gcam there's for me a clear winner (you'll see a big difference if you zoom in the pictures) :

I've tested in the same area by night and by day.
Both apps are many time adjusted to get the best result of each app.
May there's someone who uses another app with good pucture quality but for the moment gcam 7.3.018 is my favorite.

I agree with you on photo quality.
However stock cam supports better portrait mode, ultra wide camera video recording, manual mode, pixel peaping, etc...
Gcam focuses on quality of standard features, MIUI camera focuses on widening features. There are times MIUI camera has advantages over Gcam, so having both is a better idea than just to pick one.
