CM Updater "Installaition aborted" - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So, I flashed cm 13 nightly from cm 12.
Honestly this rom is excellent, but its not providing root excees even after tapping build number and set none to "apps & adb"
So, I went to download cm 13 feb 10 (Latest update) Its downloaded successfully but when I tap update my phone restarts and goes to recovery and then it says "Installaition aborted"
Please give me a solution about this as I can't connect my phone to odin and root excess is not working either.

[Q] Unable to root. [4.3 with CM 10.2]

I decided to install the new CM 10.2 with its 4.3 android today. In the guide I was using it also said to install AJK kernel so I did
and now I have everything working except ROOT permissions. And I can't figure out what did I do wrong. Here are the steps I took expecting to have my phone rooted and with cm 10.2 at the end:
1. I installed the new kernel by their official instructions in recovery mode
2. Installed SuperSU in recovery
3. Installed CM 10.2 in recovery
4. Installed GAPPS in recovery
5. rebooted phone
Could you please tell me what am I missing or what did I do wrong? I already rooted my phone before so I can't seem t figure out what am I doing wrong now.
Any help is much appreciated, thank you all.

[Q] Question about CyanogenMod OTA updates

I'm on the CM 10.2 nightlies (9/15 currently), and I'm trying to update through the Settings -> About Phone -> Check for CM updates option. This option is supposed to download the update, then boot into recovery and install the zip. It downloads fine and boots into recovery (CWM) and things look fine, but after that I get an error that says "E: failed to open /sdcard/0/cmupdater/cm-10.2-0130917-NIGHTLY-jfltevzw.zip (No such file or directory)." And then the line below that says "E: signature verification failed." I get the option to Install Untrusted Package, but that just gives me the same error.
Has anyone else run into this problem or know a way around it? I like that this seems like a very hassle free way to stay up to date on Nightlies. I saw an option in recovery to turn signature verification off. Would that get around this? Thanks in advance for help.

[Q] [GT-I9195] Problem With flash CM 11 "untrusted zip file" Fw

Hi all, my problem is this:
I Have installed on my s4 mini international LTE (Europa) the version of Cyanogenmod 11 (cm-11-20140325-NIGHTLY-serranoltexx.zip).
My ClockWorkMod recovery is : PhilZ Touch 6 V6.0.4.7
This is the only firmware work on my s4 mini developed by CM.
My question is:
After downloading the update CM i try to install a zip package (new fw) and i toggle "signature validation", i proceed with the installation and he say "install untrusted zip ?". I respond "yes", and the cell phone say "can't open file, installation aborted".
This Cyanogen work fine, but i want update my CM 11.
Somewhone can help me for this question?
This is the last CWM avaible for this phone.
Thanxs.

Can't install latest cyanogen mod update

My phone keeps prompting me to update, so when I press accept, it restarts, i see the green android logo, then i very briefly see it show him lying down with some red writing (implying it's failed), then it boots up.
When I get to my homescreen, it then prompts me to install the update again. it's done this around 5-6 times, and it just won't install.
What do I do?
4.4.2
GT-I9300
kernel version - 3.0.64 CM
CM version - 11.0-installerXNPQ08Q

try to update your recovery to its latest version..
Try to update from recovery: simply flash the zip file.
From this link you can download the latest CM 11 nightly or M release (more stable than nightlies): http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=i9300
If you continue to have problems, flash the latest Philz Recovery via Odin, probably your CyanogenMod stock one is very buggy.
Ps your rom is very old, updating without a data wipe (losing all your apps, settings and files stored in internal memory) you might have problems due to the great system changes. Surely you didn't updates since M7... or earlier!

But when I Selected boot from the TWRPCAF Screen, phone starts and doesn't go beyond a screen with the text "Google" and a unlocked lock logo at the bottom of the screen.
