I bought SGS6E from polish operator Plus - with CSC PLS.
I found polish XEO (i was thinking that):
XEO-G925FXXU1AOCV-20150410142820.zip
flashed via ODIN. Everything went ok. But the CSC that phone show is... TPH for Portugal.
It is possible to change CSC without waiting for new firmware (good) for XEO?
Did you perform a factory reset in recovery as that resets the csc.
Otherwise maybe phone tools Samsung from the marketplace?
On the screen i seen
Appiled multi-csc. Csc appiled: TPH

Hey,
No way to do that. The problem is that even if you download FWs from sammobile that have different CSCs - based on my experience - they will default to something else. On my Galaxy Alpha which originally had XEH I flashed a XEF ROM and there was no way back. Sad but true.
The only good thing with the S6 is that with the currently available 5.0.2 ROMs you can still achieve root without loosing the warranty. And after root you can change the CSC and then can flash the original ROM which will NOW default to CSC you just set. But only if it contains that CSC package!
Hope I could help!
Cheers,
TT

I had the same problem first get your firmware from sammobile flash it through odin
then factory reset from stock recovery it will chose a random CSC but dont worry once you setup your new device go into the setting>backup and reset>factory reset. make sure you dont have automatic restore.
after reset setup device again then Open your phone’s dialer and type the following code with your device IMEI number: *#272*Phone’s IMEI Here#
it should automaticaly take to your csc changer screen pick ur one then install
hope it works !

How it works : on devices where dialer NOT shown up CSC changer (e.g.: 920F) :
Go to recovery, Dial up, Home + Power
wipe cache and perform a factory reset
next is important : power down the phone. NOT to reboot.
Power on in download mode: volume down+home+power buttons
FLASH for example : BTU :
G920FXXU3COI9_G920FBTU3COJ1_G920FXXU3COI9_HOME.tar
after reboot, it will be English, and If U go to recovery it will apply BTU.
Hope it helps
p.s.: It wont works with EVERY Firmware. don't know WHY. For example :
I wanted to flash after succesfully changed the CSC from TPH to BTU, so I wanted to flash XEH....BUT that resets to TPH after XEH flash.
So at least to BTU it works specially if you are in TPH CSC !
Can I change the CSC on an 925F to something non F? Currently mine is coded THR (Iran) and I wish to change it to something USA related. I'm hoping to activate Samsung Pay but from what I've read the change will require root which will trip Knox which won't allow Samsung Pay to work. Am I right?
Working for Galaxy s6 Edge in COJ9 ? If yes I will restore it
damm i wish i found this thread some hours ago ... same prob with G925FXXU3COI9_G925FOXX3COJ1_G925FXXU3COI9_HOME.tar as XEO CSC declared ...
coming from DBT -->> BTU --> trying jump to XEO with Firmware found by SamFirm , but failed.. every try it switches to TPH anywhere with CSC/Firmware i come from.
after read this thread i give up my trys
so go back to BTU and hope OTA Update to marschmallow comes next days ...
greetings from germany
So finally there is no option to install CLEAR XEO when you have brand? The same as author. Comming from PLS (plus) / TPL (T-Mobile) to XEO, and i get TPH For portugal.
Or meybe ishanmu and tiborprogmed way is working to have clear XEO with LTE icon?
Checked with CSC XEF, you can download the Oreo ROM directly, don't need flash Nougat one and then get the OTA.

If you're using N950F with single SIM, it's possible to change your phone to dual sim if your phone is non-rooted.
You cannot do this by yourself, there are enough discussions in terms of this,
I have converted my N950F to dual sim and tested, working well on both SIM cards, VoLTE looks only work on SIM1
I'm looking the sim extension cable, I have already bought dual sim slot from ebay, but you CANNOT use sim 2 and SD at same time,
Otherwise you need DIY your SD card and SIM card, I cannot do this because my second SIM card belongs to another country, I cannot get new card if the old one got damaged.
So I'm looking some SIM extender cable.
There are 2 solutions for this,
1. Copy the IXXI to SIM2, some country will restrict same IXXI on the network, duration: approximately 2 hours, remote control 1 time
2. Using 2 different IXXI, but the original IXXI will be lost, they will give you 2 new IXXI for both SIM cards, duration: approximately 3 working day, remote control 2 times
If you need keep the current CSC, please use oreo AP/BL/CP and your home_csc file from your country rom.
I have tested, all good, VoLTE is working well.
If you need change the csc to another csc, normally change to the different csc but in same country, for my case, I have changed my csc from VAU/VAU/VAU to XSA/XSA/VAU.
I'm on vodafone, the VoLTE is still working after CSC changed, so don't if VoLTE is working on XSA with carrier vodafone.
How to change the CSC in same country:
You can just change to another country, then flash your home country firmware back, I have tested, the default csc will be changed to your home csc, even you take your SIM card out.
The only way with unroot is using the combination rom, see steps below (source)
Prerequisite:
*Battery at least 50%,
*Remove SIM & SD Card.
*Important- BACKUP
*Odin 3.13.1
1- Download the latest Combination file,
Google COMBINATION_FA71_N950FXXU3ARA2_CL12771072_QB16471415_REV00_user_mid_noship.tar or COMBINATION_FA71_N950FXXU3ARA5_CL12991683_QB16751804_REV00_user_mid_noship.tar
2- Flash your home country firmware, if you didn't flash to any other firmware, you can ignore this step.
After flashing the official ROM, Do a Factory Wipe.
3- Flash Combination file you downloaded in AP AND your country HOME_CSC file from official ROM
4- After successful flashing is done, wait for the phone to boot up, it will go in to diagnostic/Factory mode, don't panic.
5- Tap Factory IMEI and enter the code *#243203855# ,it will show you list of available CSCs, choose the one you need and tap install (I remembered there is 2 options, I selected the option with full).
6- Just in case, do one more Factory/Cache Wipe.
7- Power off the phone & enter download mode and Flash it with your country's officlal ROM. Four files (BL+AP+CP+CSC) Use CSC, don't use Home_CSC.
8- Knox Zero. System Status: Official
9- You can check your active CSC in recovery mode or use Phoneinfo app.
XEF Oreo firmware can be downloaded directly now, not OTA

The N950F and N950F Duo uses the same firmware
If i flash this via odin, how can i change csc back to original (my csc is THL)?
Downloaded via SamFirm . I'm on TPH (Portugal). Should I flash only AP as per sammobile instructions?
Instructions
Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.13.1
Extract Odin ZIP file
Open Odin v3.13.1
Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes
Thanks in advance.
Hello, one noob question, if I flashed this fw, will I lose all of my data after flashing it? Thanks

You will likely have to wait 7 days for the option to appear, then you can toggle it to unlock the bootloader.
Soooo, flashed with CSC instead of Home CSC to get a full wipe and try to change stuff around, yet i am still at the old CSC, and i mean completely (MID/MID/MID). I fear i wont receive OTA's in the future now, but how the hell did i manage to do that?
At least i got Oreo.

EDIT. Answering to myself and everyone interested. Flashing AP, BL, CP, HOME_CSC works fine and leaves data intact. Done it.

Thanks but it's supposed that the oem unlock option only appears when the csc code match with the local SIM.
I did the factory reset but I still having Arab Emirates csc and I'm from Chile.
Dialing *#1234# I get this one csc: .....oxm.... what does mean?

Did you have oem unlock before you flashed/reset?
OXM is a multi-CSC, and if your home country isn't included in that package then I don't think it would change to Chile.

Chile has like 5 CSC, one of them is "open". So, the question is: can I flash this firmware without problems or I have to wait to get the OEM option? If I do that, the SIM card must be on the phone or not? And, What happen if the OEM doesn't appears?
Sorry if im bothering but I don't want to mess up my phone.
Thanks in advance.
Hi i want to change CSC for my S9+ G965F/DS
My actual CSC is CAC/CAC CAC/PHN
CSC : G965FOXM2BRJ3
I tried to flash combination rom with odin but it failed
download odin 3.13.1., i've attached it below
extract it and run odin.exe as administrator
download the rom you want from sammobile
use HOME_CSC if you want to keep your files, otherwise flash the second CSC file
i think this should work
You will need sim card from country to wich one you wolud like to change CSC. OXM is universal multi CSC,and when you put that sim from that country it will ask you to restart phone and after that just do a factory reset and csc will be changed. Its only way without playing with combination files.Sorry for my english.

Hi all...
I recently flashed BTU Android 12 firmware on my XFA Galaxy S10e (exynos). Everything went perfectly, it defaulted back to XFA...
Then tried the same thing on my Galaxy S20 FE (exynos) (also installed the BTU Android 12 firmware), and am now struggling. The firmware first defaulted to Russia (SER). I was able to downgrade back to Android 11 (BL 8 for both) but then the CSC defaulted to Turkey (TUR).
Now, no matter what I do, I cannot get it back to XFA, or anything other CSC for that matter. It's stuck on TUR, no matter what region of firmware I install. Even tried XFE which is not an OXM CSC and it still went back to TUR. And I cannot currently use Samsung Pay.
I cannot use SamKey as my work laptop won't let me install it (Endpoint Security quarantines it).
Does anybody have a reliable method I can follow to change it back to XFA.
I've tried flashing, even using the pit file and doing nand erase with no luck. The codes on the dialer don't work either. I've also tried flashing various firmwares such as BTU and XFE with no luck.

Mine is a Galaxy S20 FE G780F, do you have the same phone as me? I did manage to fix mine, read on to find out how.
This was not easy for me to fix. I tried samkey on someone elses laptop and wasted 2 credits because it did not work. I selected XFA on samkey and it went to SER (Russia). Second time it stayed on SER.
Downgraded to Android 11 XFA, and it got stuck on TUR (Turkey) again. No matter what I tried, it would not change from TUR.
I tried flashing pit files, rebooting with different sim cards, factory resetting many times as well as flashing about 10 firmwares both on Android 11 and 12. Still was stuck on TUR.
I then decided to flash the Australian firmware for Android 12. When the phone booted up, it was actually English. I thought it was fixed, but no, it was then on Indonesia. Atleast everything was English but samsung pay would still not work.
I then flashed the stock XFE (Samsung unbranded - South Africa) firmware and boom!!! When the phone booted everything was back to XFA.
I now have Samsung Pay as well as the latest security update which is not even out yet via OTA.
Only issue I'm experiencing now is bad battery life and the phone heats up a lot with light usage. So I'm still pissed
