how to play asphalt 8 - Remix OS for PC

How to play asphalt 8 with keyboard??? I tried with gamepad it doesn't support all the keys only left right working .. Someone help me

It should say keyboard detected and show you the guide when you launch it. Arrows/wasd for movement, space for nitro, left ctrl for brake or drift(ctrl+ left/right button). Careful not to touch the touchpad, sometimes it goes crazy and the car goes around in circles and stop responding to keyboard, restarting the race will fix it. Also the cars/3d stuff only seem to show up in very high graphics settings, there's some kind of graphic glitch on my laptop, driver issue probably.

Keyboard detected is not showing but if i connect gamepad its showing gamepad detected.... Do i need to connect external keyboard? Or internal works for you?

My laptop's keyboard does work without issues, I didn't plug in external ketboard. Did you try just pressing the keys does the car respond? You could try google to see where the controls are mapped by default on a gamepad.

Multi Touch Issue

I'm been messing around with my tablet and the multi touch apps that show the points that your tablet recognizes when you touch the screen. I found out that if i hold my finger on the bottom row of my tablet and then try and press with my right hand thumb on the same bottom row of the tablet the screen does not recognize my right thumb. Can others try the same thing and verify that this is an issue with the everyones touch screen and not just mine. If you play games like pewpew, minisquadron or samurai vengeance II, you may notice this issue where you can't use the virtual joysticks at the same time. Or they are not responsive. Can others give this a test and let me know if your tablet lets you hold your finger on the tablet and then press your other thumb on the same horizontal row.
I just tried this and with the power cord plugged in the touchscreen works Flawlessly but without I get the issue reported above.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
I've tried the Calibration app and that does nothing.

Video shows what i'm talking about.
i have played samurai vengance, dungeon defenders and zenonia and all of them work correctly. have you checked this in other roms?
I'm thinking it is just vegan 5.1.1 i didn't seem to have this issue with Calkulins rom. What rom are you running?
I have noticed that Gun Bros has a problem with the two dpads, but it does not seem to happen in the multi-touch app. Strange

Odd, i think it is a rom issue. Gonna try another rom but I'm not sure which one. Frustrating.
I want good HD video playback without this multi touch issue.
I have not noticed this but if you have "Spare Parts" or "Developer Tools" there is a cool app in there that just shows where you touch and tracks it. If you touch 2 spots it shows that too. Open up Dev Tools and find Pointer Location. Impress your friends if nothing else.

{Q} Trackpad seems not showing mouse pointer

I was wondering if anyone else's mouse pointer stopped working. Track pad still works just fine. I use it to scroll up and down pages, but the mouse pointer never shows up. Did I acidently turn off a setting? If so, does anyone know how to get it working again. I have tried putting the tablet in it's dock about 15 times, but it's still a nogo. Thanks in advance.
I found the answer myself by playing with almost every setting and button lol. Apperently the button on top of the #3 turns off the trackpad. I learn something new everyday. Mods, you can close this thread.

[Q] (Q) Joystick Center sticks going off screen

I searched and could not find the answer to this question.
The problem I have is when using my 360 gamepad, the sticks will continue to move up the screen when I press forward. I dont know how to make them stay over the stick buttons on games like Dead Trigger and Modern Combat. Once it goes up the screen and reaches the top, it stops responding and I must let go and press up on the stick again. I dont know how to fix this, nor if this is the right place to ask. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I tried to post a link to the video of the problem, but it got caught in the spam filter. If you search usb/bt joystick center 7 on youtube, set it to this week, the video should be at the top.

[Q] Home and back buttons randomly don't work when rotated

Upgraded to CM11, but had this on 10.2 as well. Back and home buttons are rendered inoperable depending on how NT is positioned (rotated). Really annoying and I know they aren't shorted because BACK works in one position but not the other, same issue with HOME. Anyone know of a fix?
Anybody?
you're talking about the onscreen buttons in android, right? i've never had any issues
that happen to me
I had that same problem when I change the dpi from 160 to 265 and that when it happen to me. It took me a day or two before I realized what causes It but when I change the dpi back to 160 my buttons started to work just as they did before.I hope this helps you with your fix.good luck
Well I don't know if it's your case, but this happened to me as well, and I found that I had dead zones in touchscreen exactly where on screen home and back buttons are, the only way I could use home and back buttons again was rotating the screen to upside down portrait (I could not pull down controls menu in this position since that part of screen was dead) or in landscape.
How I found out: download this app. from Google Play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rn.yamtt, turn your tablet to landscape so on screen buttons will change positions. Open the app. and select paint tester and move your finger on the part of the screen where the on screen buttons wasn't working in portrait mode.
If you have dead zones like me, the app. won't paint the area where you are moving your finger because the touchscreen is dead in that area.
Also, my nook developed another problem after this, it won't charge, and when I plug the power cord, tablet crashes and reboots and stay in a bootloop unless I remove the cable. I'm 100% sure the cable and charger are ok, my nook suddenly started to show a lot of problems, I'll miss my nook =/
so what did you do to fix it?

Nothing since this has no fixes, part of the touchscreen is simply dead, unless a miracle happens, I even tried to restore stock nook rom, opened my tablet to check if there is a loose cable or something.
Is this happened to you in the same day you opened this thread? If your answer is yes, this sounds funny, because it's exactly the day when this small part on left bottom of the touchscreen died in my nook.
Also, somewhat my tablet started to charge again, but very slow, like USB charging, but I'm happy my nook returned to life.
No this happened many weeks before the thread. All of a sudden both home and back touches no longer worked in portrait position, but DO work in Landscape. Annoying.

Did you made the check I mentioned before? Does the back and home buttons works if put your tablet in upside down position so portrait mode will move soft buttons to the top edge?
Yes - all three DO work when I flip it upside down in portrait. Is this my workaround?

Unfortunately, you have the same problem as me - dead zone in touchscreen. Flip the tablet upside down in portrait or use in landscape are the only workaround afaik. I thought in moving the on screen buttons more to the right in a zone where the touchscreen is working, but I didn't find a way to do this, I managed to move them a little bit by adding more buttons in the bar in system settings, but the back button would still stay in the dead zone, them I switched home and back buttons positions (so home stays in the dead zone) since you can still use the tablet N button to use home function.

Playing games via mouse over USB?

Well, the touchscreen on my Lifepad S9314 is coming to an end. Via YATT (yet another touch tester app) i recognize there a a lot of spots where my 1-tap gesture/point will trigger 2-3 "ghost" taps on the same horizontal but on the other side of the screen. (which causes a multi-touch-gesture being recognized, which causes most inputs not doing what i intend to do. (Typing, Games).
Well i already ordered a new Lifepad (which is coming soon) but in the meantime i'm stuck with this one. Most of the time i have no problems, but sometimes the "ghost"-taps keep coming every time - very annoying. Anyway I just thought "why not plug a USB mouse in and play via mouse?" and it worked. (via package/stock USB-OTG-Cable).
I tried it out and it worked. Now i have a small mouse cursor on my tablet and can play around with a mouse. I can play games, but one point is still "missing":
how can i "emulate" a 2-finger tap (so a gesture where i touch the screen in 2 places, like for a blocking-sequence in a game)? Because every mouse button i press (left middle or right results in a single tap. I "could" just touch the screen with 2 fingers at events when needed, but as my mouse has more than 1 button, isn't there something like a "makro" wich for example tells the tablet, that right click results in that 2-finger-gesture? Or else like using mouse wheel for progressive/repetitive/fast/action tapping?
