Hi XDA guys,
Let me introduce you my second watchface for Android Wear, available on Google Play for free.
This is a very simple watchface, no useless stuff, no useless draws, no useless feature. Only brighting dots on a grid which represents the time, the wear battery level (as a gauge on the left of the screen), the mobile battery level (as an inverted gauge on the right of the screen), and the date.
A very nice animation is showing each time a digit has to change. Also a smooth and discreet glow animation is showing on leaving ambient mode for interactive mode.
Note that this application is fully optimized to save your battery life, only one computation per minute !
Retro and futurist at the same time, let be seduced by the lot of available colors for the brighting dots and the "non-brighting" dots.
If you dislike the square pixels, try to set the "dots style" to round in the settings (from wear or mobile companion app).
It could be adapted for square wears if the "arc gauges" hurt your eyes : simply set the battery style to "lines".
Many formats are available for the date, for each taste
Free on Google Play : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.yochi376.dotswatchface
Can you please keep me informed if any issue occurs, or if you have some more requirements for this watchface ? I will be a pleasure to develop this watchface for you.

it looks cool, i will give it a download later. How did you manage to make the display images you posted? I am also a dev and cannot figure that out for my life
Thanks guys for your positive feedback

Hi Redbred, it's not so hard to make these kind of images. I'm currently using Gimp. Use the deformation tools for the "parallaxe" effect on a real watch. And for the "mirror" effect, just copy-past your image in a new layer, apply a vertical mirror transformation, then add a "layer mask" on this layer, and finally a gradient on this one.
Here's a simple tutorial (in french, sorry !) http://www.clubic.com/telecharger/logiciel-retouche-photo/the-gimp/aide-astuce-tuto/faire-un-effet-miroir-avec-gimp-14872.html
Hi guys,
Lots of evolutions has been released in the last version on Google Play
Could you help me to have more reviews / feedbacks ? I really want to make it as perfect as possible !
Thanks again for your support,
Anthony

Here is a xBox live stats app for Windows Mobile. Its called WM Live and is still in beta.
WM Live runs on Windows Mobile powered devices, and it lets you sync your Xbox Live friends career / status / gaming history on your device so you can look it up while online OR offline. NET Compact Framework (which you might already have installed) is required.
Plz note : I am NOT the developer, just promoting it.
Developers Page and download : http://m.zaamit.com/wmlive/ [ via 1800PocketPC.com ]
And here's the developer
Thanks for the post theone, hope Xbox gamers enjoy my little app. All and any kind of feedback / suggestion is VERY welcome!
thanks bout to download now
awesome
What versions of Windows Mobile are supported?
(Please say WM2003SE)
I know it runs on wm2003, possibly with some graphic glitches. Personally, I've tested it on WM5, 6.1, and 6.5 in both portrait and landscape.
Just smartphones are unsupported at the moment.
@ zaamit : glad to see you here
well, glad of being an ungreatful lurker no more
Great App
Thanks!
I'll give it a try
Edit:
Just installed it on my TP2. Works like a charm. I was able to add my Xbox Live account as well as my friends.
Updates are nice and quick, as well as the app.
I like the sliding in and out animation for the Avatars.
I did find a minor bug.
When displaying an Avatar that has been set to maximum height the top of the head is cut off, in both Landscape and Portrait mode.
Here is an example, my avatar vs. my friends avatar:
One suggestion is to add borders to the Game Details popup (unless its borderless intentionally), its a lil hard to tell that something actually popped up with everything being white. Not a real big concern though.
Over all a great app.
Looking forward to seeing this app evolve.
Thanks so much for your feedback and the kind words too
You're right about the popup panel: it's borderless just because it was the quickest way to get it done, but the plan is to spice up the graphics a little bit before v1.0, so I'll definitely keep that in mind.
Quick update, as v0.9.4 is now available for downloading at that same address. As before, any comment / suggestion is more than welcome
Also, if you really like the app a Paypal donation is always appreciated. Goes without saying that it's not required and I will keep up with development as long as people use WM Live

Very true, that actually never got out of beta lol.
If anyone wants to give it a go and provide a sexy icon (original work) it would be appreciated... and credited.
Graphics are tough as I'm not sure I can get transparency to work on older devices (eg for the XBL avatars), but I'll see what i can do.

Krona Fusion Watchface
Weather updates, round and square layouts
I created a watch face, originally only with the Moto 360 in mind. I love my 360 and unlike others I'm a huge fan of the light refraction at the chamfer on the glass. This watch face has a halo ring that goes around the chamfer which looks really cool and doubles as a subtle battery status indicator.
Later I added a square layout for a friend and some other color schemes, weather updates ... and decided to push it to the Play Store. My main intention here is to find out about layout and performance issues on other devices (since I don't want to buy all the other watches out there). Any feedback is highly appreciated. Of cause you don't have to pay for the app but can download the APK directly.
DOWNLOAD
APK: KronaFusionWatchface_net.marscity.fusion.apk (totally free - updated to version 1.4)
Play Store: Krona Fusion Watchface (€0.79 / $0.99 - updated to version 2.0, official Watch Face API)
PERMISSIONS
For weather information provided by openweathermap.org the app requires:
• Coarse location, network-based (no GPS) for weather data [approximate location (network-based)]
• Full internet access for weather data request [full network access]
• Enable weather update service upon reboot [run at startup]
FEEDBACK
Here or in the Play Store please. Thanks!
UPDATES
1.4: better support for different screen sizes, layouts, and resolutions.

It's a Play Services (Wearable.API) Error. This is shown if the API is not connected and the phone/tablet cannot access the communication layer to the Android Wear service.
I attached a debug version. There will be a toast message popping up when you open the app. I should say: "onConnected:null". Can you tell me what it says in your case? What phone / Android version are you using?
Cheers and thanks a lot!

Usually that means that you do not have the Play Services installed - Xiaomi usually does not come with Play Services pre-installed.
Did you install Play Services manually and do you have the latest version that supports Android Wear communication?
This is really impressive, one of the best watchfaces I have seen, thank you very much.

Like a week after we finished the initial version, Google announced the new official Watch Face API ... and we started from scratch and rewrote the entire wearable App. I just pushed it to the Play Store and we are waiting for bug reports. Once everything is OK with the new API we will start working on features again. Prominent phone and watch battery indicators are on the list. ^^
On Sony Smartwatch 3 in ambient mode it doesn't look very well. Screenshot is OK:
but actually it looks like this:
- barely visible digital time, and just a single digit in the weather part. IMHO it should be near "#fff" to look well on this certain watch.
PS: screenshot and photo taken from the older version.

Thanks a lot for the picture. I attached the most recent version. Since we completely rewrote the part where the watch face is drawn (in interactive and in ambient mode) and implemented some ambient mode specific features, it may look quite different now. (maybe worse, hopefully much better?). Could you give it a try and tell us if there is any improvement? (requires Android Wear 5.0.1)
Thanks a lot

Perfect. We really like the new API - seems to work well with all the different power saving techniques by the displays.

To be honest: I don't see any difference between anti-aliasing on and of on Smartwatch 3. Furthermore - changing alfa on mute mode gives me strange effects on bitmap backgrounds. Dunno if it's hardware related (?).
EDIT: just found out that anti-aliasing doesn't affect bitmaps: wonderful post for beginners by Hoi Lam.

One of prominent items on my todo list. Unfortunately yesterday Sony published new SW2 firmware and companion app that broke down all the SDK 3.0 based widgets. Hundreds of apps on Google Play! Instead of doing something new, we keep replying to users' complaints, and waiting for Sony to tell us what happened.

Google gave devs time to rework their apps. Sony published (without any warning) software incompatible with their own API 3.0. And still no reply from them. One more reason to abandon SW2.

I'm searching for Beta testers to make sure most devices work fine: Get Tiled Watchface at Google Play.
Thanks!

Sorry for the delayed reply and thanks for trying out Tiled Watchface and for your feedback.
In itself the changes are small enough but I have to re-architect a portion of the drag-and-drop layout selection first before being able to implement those changes. Please be patient, I put them into my list and try to make the necessary changes as quickly as possible.
(I develop this in my spare time and it might take some time nevertheless...)
A new version of Tiled Watchface is out with several improvements:
- resizable tiles
- full complication support
- additional tile types.
Check it out on Google Play!
My two cents, is the latest version is just about perfect.
I have five complications running without an issue, asked for a Black, Black, White scheme and they supplied it.
Even though I use the Huawei 2 "Round", this digital watch face is no my favorite.
Wish the digital clock top center tile could be made bigger ? but I changed my Google Play rating to 5 stars.
Configuration tip, you need to configure the watch face from the Android Wear App "some other watch faces install apps on the Phone" this did throw me off for a bit.
A new and all around improved version is out. The main new feature is the the ability to add pre-configured screens and quickly change them on the watch:
Enjoy on Google Play
Just found out about this watch face. It's amazing in its usefulness and simplicity, and should be featured in all those "best Android Wear watchfaces" lists.
However... it crashes each time I try to click on an element to customize it (complication, allow the face to access the calendar, etc). It then defaults to the built-in "Simple" watchface and there's nothing I can do to use Tiled again, I have to uninstall it.

Hi,
as on the Sony SmartWatch 3 there is no Android Wear 2.0, i cannot use the complication-feature . So I am very sorry to request/ask again for a tile with phone battery. Is there any chance to get this? Maybe with phone and watch battery tiles with a phone/watch symbol? Would be realy great if possible (and not too much work).
Greetings

I got it to work, by uninstalling everything, reinstalling, going into the watch's app properties before using it and granting it permissions beforehand.
However, am I doing something wrong? I was under the impression that the watchface offered the possibility of multiple screens, a bit like a phone's launcher? This would offer a much quicker and easier way to access frequent apps. Try as I might, I'm only able to display one screen (plus another, dummy screen for ambiant if I want to).
Am I doing something wrong? Or is the app limited to one ambiant and one regular screen?
Also, one idea for future development could be to allow various tiles to have different colours. That would improve the look and readability tremendously.
Hi all, I've made a minimalist watchface generator. You can choose font type (google fonts), size, color and complication positioning.
Enjoy!

The EN version firmware doesn't support custom digital watchfaces. Only analog.
At least in current 1.3.2b.
Let's hope it gets updated soon.
Excellent! cant stop playing with it, many thanks!
I would be very grateful if the format of the date could be changed and also if the color of the font could be changed and finally if custom backgrounds could be uploaded.

Great job, fella!
Is there any way to see all the fonts on one page? The selector is a bit slow, plus can't use up down arrow to change once selected.
Also, any advice on best way to change the colour pallette? Instructions for GIMP or Paint.Net? The built in Camouflage face looks really good in standby, I'd be interested to know how they achieved that.
Cheers!
This WatchFace Generator is AWESOME!!
One minor thought: please, add Daily distance, because I have to edit all the watchfaces by hand to replace the total distance with today's distance. The dataType is '2' for this field. Thanks a lot!
there is any way to put differents timezones between digital time and analog time?
Think I might share this here, based on LCD from https://sawfb.fabiobarbon.click/ mixed some 'old stuff'
Cheers
(just change extension to .wfz)
any possibility to make clock into two rows like the Nike design on apple watch?
Thanks, this is great.
How do I use a different background image? I tried URL and File but neither work.
Awesome designer app!
Does anyone know how ... using this designer or manually editing the watchface files ... to create widget level rings. There are a handful of default faces like 'Strong Beat' and 'im Runner' that have steps, battery, etc as rings or smaller filled bars.
I have a few face ideas that would be great with those items added. I don't see any listing (yet) in other posts and forums about how to create those.

There is a circular option for almost all data elements in the designer. If you want to do it manually, you need to change the Model type (I think 1 - text and icon , 2 - for text and icon in circular progress bar).
Please note most of the default watchfaces are not implemented as wfz but as custom layouts and controls. You cannot create filled bars like the default watchfaces, unless you create your own app and implement custom UI elements.

Thanks, yes I knew about the small circles but was looking for a way to do the large fill bars. Makes sense. Maybe they will expand the wfz format to support them down the way.
.. and might I add that your watchface generator is awesome!
I'd like more analog hands to choose from , and one page with preview for those and fonts, if it's not too much.
I'll share one I'm proud of , called "H7 Anton BW lines" (I made about 10 with various distinct fonts) , I made it with white BG because it's more readable when backlight is off , on daylight.
EDIT: one analog , readable in sunlight, too
It would be cool if we could change fonts/sizes/colours for date/steps/etc.. is it possible, though ?

Many of you who have a Windows Mobile past like me, might have instantly recognized the thin colorful line(s) in the above image. And for the new Android generation, introducing Energy Bar - a pulsating Battery indicator!
Energy Bar puts a thin line on top of your Status Bar whose length corresponds to your device's current Battery level.
Got a full charge? The line will cover the whole width of your screen.
Battery depleting? So will the length of Energy Bar.
After several iterations (thank you for the feedback, early testers), the App is now feature packed:
Energy Bar can be configured from a width of 1 pixel to cover the entire status bar
Energy Bar puts almost 0% load on CPU, as it wakes up only to reflect any change in battery level
Energy Bar's origin can be configured as left/center/right
Energy Bar can hide on fullscreen content (apps, videos, images, games etc)
Energy Bar can be configured to change colors automatically depending on the live battery level
Energy Bar could have a mono color/multiple color segments/gradient
You can literally assign any color in the world for your favorite configuration
Energy Bar as a cool pulsating animation whenever a power source is plugged into your device
There is something about visual over numbers that keeps you and your device's battery level in sync with just a glance. You may find it intuitive/effective/stylish way to read the battery level, let me know what you think

Charging animation demo (style - bounce), thanks @sl33pyK!

Hey this is cool, I was considering making a similar app around the camera cutout... might be something you consider adding to this project! "Energy ring"..
Doesn't really translate onto the screenshot well tho:
Looks good. I did notice that the charging animation restarts when opening/closing the Energy Bar app. Did not appear to restart animations in other apps though.
It adds a corner to the top left of the screen that is visible in screenshots but doesn't appear anywhere else.
Screenshot attached for others to see.
Hi, great app for my s10... Thanks
Hi, Good Afternoon, I would like to install your App, but why is it asking for so much permissions. It says it wants to read my messages & other personal items. If this is an App to show how much power I have left, why does it need all those permissions?

Could always see what disabling those permissions does to the app.

I'm afraid to install it. I will try and see if I can get in touch with the developer. To ask why? I thought he monitored this thread. Thanks for answering.

I'm still in school learning about development or I could be of more assistance. But I would assume the dev does check on this thread from time to time... Hopefully...
I love it
Possible to have a static battery bar around the camera lens? Id love that..

This is a very good idea. I wish I knew how to create apps
