Cool. Thinking about flashing back to stock to get this setup. Especially since new radio and bootloader. Want to make sure I get everything updated properly.
Your lucky, mine is getting hot during idle(never dozing) and consuming battery like never before, the radio was even worse until I flashed angler 2.50, i am getting lag all the time. I'm going to wipe the phone and see if that helps.
My mic doesnt work due to update so phone calls aren't a thing :'(

Can confirm. Got 6.5 yesterday with 18% left to spare at 16 hours of total usage. I doubt the regular S7 can do that though.

I can agree!! This new build update had made my Nexus 6p phenomenal!! Fixed everything that was wrong, and I'm 100% stock as well.
Didn't fix the slo-mo bug.
I agree that this new update is really nice but I was hoping it would fix the popping noise when recording video.
I still have the att LTE issues. Maybe you just haven't gotten one yet?

Only way I'd rock a S7 is if it was free. ;p
I think people who get not so good battery live in poor coverage areas or poorer than others and that's the deal... I'm 5&6 sot.
I've been on latest for 2 days now and def agree with people. It's best update yet.

What's the average battery life for everyone
Sent from my Xoom using XDA Premium App
About 7 hours for me. I'm planning to buy an extended battery . I always have to check my Facebook and twitter every hour and send about 400 texts a day and run Google music. In pretty sure if I was using my sister's evo it would only last me 5 hours lol.

So it is better then the evo?
Anybody know about vs the photon
Sent from my Xoom using XDA Premium App
Yes it better than the Evo not by much but I'm sure that the Devs will cook some kernals up for the 3d to improve battery life a bit more. I'm not sure about the photon, but I know that the photon has a slightly smaller battery, 1500mah I believe. But it's not size that matters, it's how you use it.
On my ROM, I get about 19 hours of moderate usage.

If you're not worried about how big your phone is just get a seidio super extended battery. I got the biggest one they make for the Evo 3D, 4000mHa, and it lasts about two days and I'm a pretty heavy user. Even if you are a heavy multimedia user the 4000mHa will last you all day no problem.

Mine shows 12hrs up time with 3.5hrs awake time and still has 60% battery left on stock ROM. I guess I would call it light to moderate use. I should be within that range by the end of the night.

Battery life can stretch depending on how smart you use it but if its a constant heavy usage then 6 hours is no surprise (I sometimes get 7-8 hrs but meh)

Just wondering, what sort of screen time is everyone getting?
Please include:
1. What Battery you are using
2.What Rom
3.Kernel
4.Screen Time
5. What is your approach to saving battery?
Thanks!

Stock battery. Beans build 13 with perseus 36.2 as the kernel. At this very moment I am at 51% after 16 hours with 3 hrs and 13 minutes of screen time. So far today I've texted a decent amount, surfed the Web and xda, and played some nimble question. These battery stats have been typical for a while now and it's great, my battery lasts me a whole day with lots left over no matter what I do all day so I don't even bother trying to conserve battery

How come your screen percent of total battery time is 25%? I usually have mine above the 50% mark
Do you have it on the lowest brightness setting or what?

I find the range of battery life we can get on this device really interesting. Here's mine:
1. Stock sometimes anger
2. Mean Bean ice
3. PBJ kernel
4. I typically get almost 4 hours of screen time.
5. I usually keep data off, and use auto of half brightness.
My normal uses are texting a few hours a day, and browsing xda and reddit. Occasionally I play games, but not that often. I get about 26 hours average use.

My guess is because he's gone over a day without plugging the phone in. It all needs to add up to 100% so in that amount of time 25% is probably about right.

Anyone who has tried both that has any thoughts on pluses or minuses? They seem to be the only choices for Note 3 features on Note 2.
I have only tried Nebula, but Skynote RC2 just dropped. So I think I'm going to give it a whirl. I'll report back.
Any thoughts to report back? I'm on SkyNote now, I like it but it is a bigger drain than the stock N2 rom I was using. I want to try N3bula, but I leave for vacation in a couple of days and don't want a phone that has issues.

You can run the debloated version of sky note. My battery life is pretty good with normal use and my screen is on full blast
I haven't been able to get more than 15 hrs on sky note. And that's with some major tweaking (greenify, cpu control, low screen level etc).

Hello everyone, I'd like to share my thoughts about battery life on Marshmallow. Has anyone noticed better battery life after updating to Marshallow? I sure have.
About 5 hours on screen time on Lollipop 5.1.1 and about 9 hours on Marshmallow 6.0. I found that sweet.
What do you guys think? Do you have a better or worse battery life?
