Step 1:
Root it using it CF-Auto-root
https://download.chainfire.eu/362/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-hltespr-hltespr-smn900p.zip
Step 2:
Get ahold of iDone's GTv3.1.5.apk & GTUpdate2_v3.1.8.apk Install them and do the update but dont press unlock yet
Step 3 :
Downgrade the modem back M13 or Mj4 (i will double check but i have the link for the one i used )
https://mega.nz/#!mg5nVZiD
I think it was m13 plus my phone says it sooo lol
Step 4 :
After downgrading the modem back to m13 you can now go to idone gt app and press (SIM UICC Unlock) after that restart the phone (now the phone is internationally unlock)
Step 5 :
Final in the unlocking process for it work in the united states aka domestic
Goto the phone app and dial *#0011# the menu should open up press menu and back then menu key input "Q" press ok then press menu key input again "0000" press ok and wait for the menu to open
UE Setting & Info >Setting >Protocol >GCF >GSM/(E)GPRS/WCDMA GCF ON
It will say "success". Reboot the device then its domestically unlock
P.S. if you are you are using a International sim the us in order for it to roam you would have to do this step
Im also not responsible for any damage done to your device :good:

on step 3, the link prompts to insert decryption key

Unlocking Procedure
I'm new to unlocking and wanted to know if it's possible for you to add a bit more detail to this unlock procedure?
Thanks

What is the "Enter decryption key" that we need for Step 3?

IT WORKS!!!
I was getting 3G and H+ on my N900P and I couldn't have been more happy. Alright, so I've uploaded a zip file with everything you need.
Here's the link to the zip file on my Google Drive: http://bit.ly/1oZDO9t
Edit: The modem is version MI3 (That's emm eye three). Also, after you apply the GCF settings and reboot, you need to change your mobile networks settings from CDMA/LTE to GSM/UMTS for the new SIM card to be recognized. Enjoy!

What do you mean you received a binary file? What was the extension on the file you got? It should be a .zip file. If it's not, you'll have to redownload it.

It should look like this in your browser. Make sure you click the download button on the top. If it comes out as anything but .zip, then try a different browser.

My sprint note 3 uicc now shows that the phone is unlocked but there is a red X on the network signal bar. How can I get rid of this to make my phone work? Please help

My network is blocked and IMEI certi shows failed
I have been able to unlock the phone but when I checked on the service mode, I realized the network is blocked and the IMEI certi shows failed.
This has caused the network signal bar to show a red X. Though unlocked, there is no signal showing. Any help please

GT-I9300 unlocked, but not quite unlocked?

Yesterday I bought an S3 and rooted it straight away as I was trying to unlock it due to it being on EE. I couldn't do anything and downloaded Galaxsim unlock and paid for an unlock. Now everything shows as unlocked and so far I've tried orange and vodafone both work. I'm trying to get o2 to work with my S3 but it's not working and just says "Network is not registered". It also says invalid MMI when I tried something else I don't quite remember. Any help please?
This is in the UK by the way, I believe the phone is from germany though.

Use this metod to Unlock it, works fine on JB 4.1.1 you can try even if you have 4.1.2 installed. Downgrade to 4.1.1 if you can't see option 4 from guide.

Type the code *#7465625# or *#SIMLOCK# on the keyboard of your phone. It’ll display various lock status information of your phone. This method should work on all other Samsung Android handsets.

Hello. I typed the code in you told me about, I had done it before it just says "connection problem or invalid MMI code" when I put an orange simcard in and "not registered to network" for o2. The thing UMTS method thing also wont work for me because as soon as I go on network lock it says "menu does not exist current command is 186." The apn settings are all correct.
I'm going to ask again, which version of JB are you using? 4.1.2?? If yes, you need to downgrade to 4.1.1 to use this trick

Sorry man I didn't see your comment at all, yes 4.1.2, so I can't continue to use 4.1.2 or do I downgrade, use the trick then upgrade?
Yep, downgrade to 4.1.1 first, use the Trick (missing option 4 now will be there), unlock & check if works. Once completed, upgrade back to 4.1.2. This method is permanent so in future you can flash any ROM and SimLock won't be back.

No problem final question, does the baseband number really matter too much? I've got an XXELL4 but I can't find one for 4.1.1. Sorry if that seems nooby it's just my first time downgrading
Here you go
Download any similar one, on the bottom of the page you can get 4.1.1
I might be wrong but I don't believe this method will work on non qualcomm devices.
Anyway, no "network unlock code" requested on boot means that your device is not sim locked anymore.
Did you check that your serial number and imei match those written on your box?

Nope. Just shows the same thing it did before "MENU NOT EXIST, current command is 186"
EDIT: If curiosity is killing you guys now, the phone couldn't get unlocked. Not even when I took it to the shop; every simcard worked except o2. They simply gave me another s3 and I was happy

Exactly same problem with JB 4.1.2
I fear if I downgrade I can lost the IMEI, happend some trouble with IMEI with the guy who try to unlock before phone comes to me.
The GalaxSim Unlock shows that the phone is unlock and all ok, but still recieve the "not registered in network" error message with any sim that´s not from the seller company
¿Any ideas for unlock in JB 4.1.2?
Thanks

Sim unlock usually don't matter which phone its in.
The SIM only is locked.
Try using the wrong password untill it requests for PUK code, then get your PUK code handy.
Usually sim providers can give you your PUK code.
UNLESS YOU STOLE IT
Then you're a nigga**** !
XD

Let me know if it helps.

I want to use my phone with a vodafone SIM, but the phone is locked to T-Mobile.
Of course i know the PUK code I did not stole the phone or the SIM card
With this method I can use the phone with my Vodafone SIM?
The phone is rooted by the way.
When I enter my PIN code for the SIM, the phone asks for the network unlock code. That is my problem. And I can't use it with my Vodafone SIM card
Any solution for this?

No worries mate.
So first to download is the original firmware.
Go here -> http://www.samsungis.com/Firmwares/GT-S7275R.html
Choose based on country+mobile.
Hover the mouse over the words and it will show the country name if you're unsure.
So for example im in Malaysia and the latest firmware is XME, S7275RXXUANA3.
Once downloaded, the file is a single file. Extact it and you'll get an md5 file.
Use whatever odin version u have. I used odin 3.07
And select 'PDA' only. Then go to the downloaded file.
Proceed with flashing. Click start and wait for the phone to be installed.
Once install, phone should be brand new.
If phone stuck at boot screen, enter recovery and wipe cache and partition.
Let me know how it goes. !

I cannot confirm if the phone will be unlocked. But its worth a try.
But many websites charge you to get it unlocked and im not sure if there's a cheaper method.
But i can confirm that there is no CWM recovery for our phone yet.
Its the normal samsung official recovery i was speaking of.
Turn off phone, press 3 buttons at once (On/off button + home button + volume up button) .

Note: Flashing different firmware will NOT unlock a phone that is locked to a particular service providers sim you will need to get the unlock code from your provider or from one of the online services.
There are several online providers that can unlock GT-S7275 series phones online. The best ones will use a client software package that you download and install on your computer. You then need to pay them for the unlock before you can unlock the phone. Part of the process is changing your phone to Diag mode by setting the USB to DM+MODEM+ADB this is done by dialing *#0808# however on some S7275 Phones like the Telstra Australia GT-S7275Y dialing this code will not access the needed menu however it can still be accessed.
For Telstra Australia GT-S7275Y and similar phones you need to open the stock calculator app and type (+30012012732+ (note that the ( and the + signs must be typed) this will then open the Factory Mode dialler you can then type *#0808# and the menu will appear.
Don't forget to put your phone back to MTP+ADB (the default setting after unlocking).

Hi. It really helps if you explain what you actually need along with more details about the phone.
What update are you on - Build version?
Have you modified the phone at all?
Are you referring to flashing as in installing the android system or flashing as in trying to program it for another CDMA network?
Are you looking for an official or custom rom?
I think you are looking for this though:
USCellular SCH-R970 (Galaxy S4) under 4.3
Open Dialer enter *#22745927
When Enable/Disable Menu comes up tap "Hidden Menu Disabled"
Select "Enable" on Popup
Press Home button
Open Dialer
Dial *#0808#
When PhoneUtil Opens Select PDA
Tap Qualacomm USB Setting
Select DM+Modem+ADB
Tap OK
(Remember after flashing to return and put phone back to MTP+ADB)
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ______________________________________________
USCellular SCH-R970 (Galaxy S4, S5) 4.3
Dial ##DMMODE#
Tap On
(Remember after flashing to return and Tap OFF)
If that isn't it, then provide the needed details so we can be on the same page.
i still need your help please

the last info you gave me was great but i think i must have missed a step because i got into debug menu screen but afterwards i couldnt get antane
signal so i did factory reset so i could try process again but now *#22745927 does nothing can you please help me?
I'm not clear on what the issue is, so not really sure what to suggest. Are you saying you can't get access to USCC's network? No talk, text, web, etc? Without any details on what you've done to the phone or what you are trying to do, there's not much anyone can do to help.
still need help

yes i couldnt access any network at all. at top of screen where antanae bar was susposed to be just had a circle with a line thru it. i factory reset it
so now i have signal but no other sim cards work in it. if any other sim card is put in it. it gives invalid sim message. i havent did any other thing to phone. just trying to get back to debug service menu. the code you gave me before worked the first time but now it does not. i just wanted to network unlock the phone so i could use it on different network
Well there's your issue. You can't unlock that one for use with other networks. You can do it on the Sprint version, but no one ever figured out that one.

Verizon unlock gsm ?
Sir I have lg g3 vs985 verizon wireless I can't use GSM sim in this phone when I put gsm sim it show no sim card please insect a sim card
How can I unlock my gsm network please help
I m from india
Something weird is happening, I have my VS985 for about 6 to 8 months working perfect in Mexico with 4G ATT GSM, suddenly it stop reading the SIM card, I take it to a support center and they told me is due to GSM Lock... how can this happens in a phone that was working and already GSM Unlocked?
I use the phone on Stock, Custom Roms, Stock again and never had this issue, can any explain what could have been happend?
Also I notice something very very weird, when I got the phone the first time it never shows any Update, I got it on KitKat and never show the OTA to Lollipop or marshmallow, after I reflash it with the Original TOT now it let me download and install updates, can this be the cause for the GSM Lock?
have you found a way. I still have the same problem

Freedompop on sprint note 3

OK so freedompop is an app that lets you call, text, and get data for free. They also include a sim card, but you need to make an account and order it. Add your credit card to make account, once you get it make sure to call them and tell them you want to be on the free service, i got some special that gave sim card plus unlimited call and text with 2gb for 5 dollars. Once you make an account go ahead and go to your sim port and remove sim(easly done by taking a small flat head at 20 degree angle to push sim out, the you can use your finger to push it down or get another small flat head and grab from both sides to pull out). It will say invalid sim.....now thanks to darksavior, this is what i did and the idoneapps gt
Rooted
Step
1. Open up odin, click options and select nand erase all if you want, then click ap and select the N900PVPUDNH7_N900PSPTDNH7_N900PVPUDNH7_HOME.tar. Connect your phone in odin mode(power down, hold volume down, home button, and power button, press up to accept and your in odin mode) then hit start untill your phone reboots
2. Mine gets stuck at the samsung logo so what you do is go to recovery mode(power down, hold volume up, home, power)get to factory reset and reboot. 5 mins later it should say setting up phone for first time, this may take 5 to 10 mins.
3. Congrats, your on stock rom. Invalid sim and attempting to activate phone should pop up, you click active and it will say failed and hit exit. Power back down to odin mode
4. Click ap again and choose the CF-Auto-Root-hltespr-hltespr-smn900p.tar file, it will restart and root, when the message appears 10 seconds to restart try to go into odin mode again and choose the twrp-2.8.7.0-hlte-4.4.img(this is the verision needed to install most roms nowadays) and install twrp. Go to recovery mode, wipe, advance wipe, select delvik cache and cache, then reboot to system. Power off phone again and go into odin mode last time, and click CP button and choose the modem.bin file and reboot to system.
5. put the GTv3.1.5.apk in root of your sd or phone so you can find it. So we need to go to settings, general, security, check mark unknown sources and discheck verify apps. go on apps, samsung, my files, all, choose where you put your file, and click on it, then hit install, open, grant root access, it should say Baseband: N900PVPUBMJ4 and Bootloader: N900PVPUDNH7
6. Click sim uicc unlock, success, and should show UNLOCKED. Click the off button on hiddenmenu and it should turn on, click the IOTHIDDENMENU button on bottom of screen, TestMode Menu, UE SETTINGS AND INFO, SETTINGS, PROTOCOL, GCF, GSM/(E)GPRS/WCDMA GCF ON, success, restart phone to see At&t at bottom
7. Settings, connections, more networks, mobile networks, network mode, Gsm/umts, automatic, then access point names, plus sign, name what ever you want, apn fp.com.attz (or what ever it says in envople your sim came in) the button on the left from home button, save, and click the circle so its green.
8. Turn on your wifi and go to playstore to download the freedompop messaging phone sim app, open it up, it should read your sim and sign you in. Turn off your wifi and you should see an H+ network. Thats it your on freedompop now
9. Since this is older firmware i looked and saw developers stopped making roms for this back in 2014, so your pretty much stuck on this firmware but its not so bad your rooted. So what i did was install System app remover (ROOT) from play store and removed the annoying samsung dms service to get rid of the activation screen and anything else i didnt want on the phone.
Bonus, my 3 year old orginal samsung battery went crazy and kinda got fat. So i ordered another orginal oem note 3 battery because ive tested batterys through AccuBattery app and found out batterys lie about their mAh size orginals dont. Anyways got the new battery, used the battery repair on it, and advanced battery calibrator app, (calabrate, ok, close ad, shut down, charge to 100%) so now my freedom pop working and brand new battery
and here is link to all files from google drive https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B9MVYh1yVnznNzhQeWxtUTJhZnM?usp=sharing
Yes, it works. I sim unlocked my note 3 for domestic use without sprint's help. I did it two weeks ago. My phone now gets LTE gsm through freedompop's gsm sim. There's two threads in the general note 3 sprint section to read up on, but this might be the simpler one:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-sprint/general/sprint-galaxy-note-3-international-t3339789
The tutorial needs to be re-written. The goal is to be on NH7 bootloader, 4.4 rom, and MJ4 modem. Galaxy tools will unlock the sim only on 4.4 and it only needs to be done once. I installed NH7 stock rom, rooted, then installed MJ4 modem. You won't be able to use sprint roms anymore after you're done altering stuff in the hidden menu. It will have trouble getting a gsm signal. I am on a note 7 ported rom from the main note 3 section. You can try any others if you want.
Here's the corrections from the tutorial thread:
Step 1: Do NOT install the cf-auto root recovery from that thread, since its meant for lollipop, and it won't work on kk.
Step 2: You only need GT 3.1.5 apk
Step 3: You only need MJ4
Step 4: You need to be on a 4.4 rom to do this.
Step 5: You can open the hidden menu with GT. No need to open the phone app and dial to get it.
If that doesn't work, I also installed the regionlock away app and changed some other settings of the hidden menu from the other sim unlock thread. I'm not sure if that makes a difference.
Ill try this. So from what i understand. Download stock NH7 rom from sammobile, root, install gt apk, flash the mj4 modem, and follow the directions on gt apk

Sounds right. Also install twrp 2.8.7.0 recovery so you can install a rom from https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3
It has to be that version because newer versions have issues with roms that use aroma installers.

Are you on the MJ4 modem? I installed that after i unlocked my sim and the invalid sim msg went away. I rooted with kingoroot on pc. There might be alternate ways but that seemed to work.
You can also try the method from https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2593305

Fp uses the att network. Make an apn with fp.com.attz then download the fp messaging app. It should give you a notification of your phone number. If the connection is unstable, use another rom.
ok i will try again, i did all those steps without the modom. I installed the modom last and was on at&t...then i installed rom and said invalid sim xD so ill try again the right way. it should no longer say invalid sim any more at all right? and i dont need to select the gsm network or lte cmda? just once it shows at&t at bottom make the apn?

Make sure you're on the correct bootloader and modem. It shouldn't say that anymore. As i said, you can also try the other tutorial that has a bit more stuff to edit in hidden menu. Use GT to access it.
You can try the regionlock away apk.
What darklord rom are you on? Darklord roms tend to be junk compared to the new note 7 ports.
Phronesis might work but I'm on a norma note 7 port, installed with tmobile option(not sure if that helps), and mobile networks I did not touch. It was set to auto (lte/3g/2g)
Ill try the tmobile option also, it doesnt have at&t option from install
So region lockaway didnt do anything, i try click unlock from gt and it asks for a code. I did the dial and domestic unlock but it also didnt do anything
Unless....i can only use 4.4 roms
I tried "FREEDOMPOP(CDMA sprint sim LTE)" on "MM 6.0.1 Darklord Modded V5 By JCordero31 N5N7 APPS 1/22/17" with MVNOBuzbee.zip
but it did not work. MVNOBuzbee.zip might need edited but i just decided to move on.
So then...is just this rom not working with or i need be on any 4.4 rom

You are not on the correct bootloader or modem. That's why it got locked again. Also, you can't unlock on a LP rom, so you''ll get that window for a code. So let me repeat myself:
You have to be on NH7 and MJ4 and a 4.4 rom to unlock sim. you HAVE to stay on NH7 and MJ4 FOREVER in order for the sim unlock to stick. You don't have to stay on the 4.4 rom. NEVER flash a stock rom again since it will flash its own bl and modem, in your case, PH1.
You undid all your work by flashing a stock rom...
Ok i can live with that. So as long as modem and bootloader stay same...i can unlock, then flash any 4.4 rom and not have ti redo all this?
