Hi everyone,
I had purchase last month the new HUAWEI Y6 SCL-L04 White; 8GB edition.
I've try 4 differents Bluetooth headsets and some of my contacts reports that my voice are getting Robotize during calls. My Contacts need to hangup and recall and problems solved for couple of minutes.
I've test 4 differents headsets : Jabra Supreme+, Jabra Supreme, Jabra Freeway, and Toyota Corolla 2015 bluetooth.
Does anyone has experience same issue or know how to resolve this issue? It may be a driver of codec issue, but it's really painfull to use a cellphones without a bluetooth headset.
Please note, it's not a Network issue, Network are full and properly worked if not using bluetooth.
Thanks.

HI Wizards
I must inform you for the following
I have installed the latest I9100G nightly - cm-9-20120730-NIGHTLY-i9100g.zip
2 problems are repeat themselves all releases
1. In PC - 'Device Manager' can't recognize device's Bluetooth properly - it says that drives cannot be found (a specific one)
2. In Car - I have a Bluetooth Speaker installed in my car. (Nokia CK-100, if required)
When I make an outgoing call everything works properly both sides are speaking and hearing each other
BUT
When I receive an incoming call device isn't recognize as BT connectivity and I can NOT hear or speak via car's microphone. I must use it as handset.
It is a known issue - I saw much of CM9 for I9100G users that complained this problems
Are there any suggestions to fix it??? Does someone know the source of this problems??????
Police might be caught me speaking without BT speaker and then I will get a report....
Trust'n you... tnx
When receive or dial out, my Nokia BH-102 mono bluetooth v2 works for CM9/CM10, but not Jabra Easycall v3 bluetooth. However music streaming works for Jabra mono headset.
I have a 2012 Honda Civic without Navigation. My phone calls and streaming audio w/ artist info work fine over Bluetooth (HTC One running Android4.3/CyanogenMod10.2), but any sort of message notification or interaction does not.
I think this is because the *2012* Civic's iMid doesn't support the Bluetooth MAP (Message Access Profile). CyanogenMod 10.2 does support MAP. Here's the iMid features for a 2012 EX with an AT&T iPhone 5. Compare that to a 2013 EX with the same phone. Combined, this evidence suggests my conclusion.
However, a friend of mine has a 2013 BMW with iDrive, but his phone (Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8) does not support Bluetooth MAP. But his phone does something rather clever. When his phone wants to notify about an SMS message, it simulates a phone call for the car. No ringing, but the car clearly thinks it's in a call. The "caller" (the phone's text-to-speech system) reads the text message over the phone call audio, and then waits for a command to be spoken back (e.g. "delete", "reply", etc.). I believe it's doing all of this through the Bluetooth HFP (Hands Free Profile).
Is there such a solution for Android?
I'm going to try SoundAbout and Mono Bluetooth Router.
I'm having this same issue with my Nexus 5 and a 2013 Audi A4. Did SoundAbout work as a workaround? Any other developments? Thanks in advance.
Not quite

I've not got SoundAbout to work very well. Honestly, though, it has so many options, it's overwhelming! I couldn't really figure it out. I should try again. I even posted to their forum: http://soundabout.userboard.net/t284-newb-confusion-for-reading-notifications-sms-e-mail-over-hdp-not-a2dp#1001
hi all,
after updating to official ROM 4.2.2 on my samsung Tab2.7.0 i'm facing problem with connecting my BT headset (plantronics m55). BT connects but i hear strange static or distorted sounds on the both ends (ie. caller and receiver) this issue is only for phone calls.
But headset works fine for VOIP calls, Skype and listening to music and voice guided navigation.
I tried unpairing and and resetting a number of times but nothing has changed, i tried to connect another Plantronics M55 to my tab still the issue existed.
both M55 BT headset worked fine on my iPhone.
Please help to fix this.. I have made exhaustive search but couldn't find a solution.

Seems more like a problem with your carrier. Can you hear this sound without the BT also? even faintly.

Are you only using skype and VIOP on wifi?
Could be the way your device handles carrier signals, in such a way it interferes with the bluetooth signals.

i use Skype and VOIP on both wifi and mobile data at both instances it works fine but if i've to make a voice call through my phone i hear only static and distortion on the BT headset, the same headset i used on my iphone and laptop it works fine.
The BT even plays music well on tab but voice call is the problem. I tried pair and unpairing a number of times even i tried to select only call audio and unpaired my Iphone and laptop, still it is giving the same problem i mentioned above.
BTW PLANTRONICS M55BT HEADSET was working fine until official firmware upgrade to 4.2.2 was done. My device is rooted.

dear jkjoms
thanks for the reply... i had been using the stock based rom and was working fine... now again i switched to it(sungsonic hd anniversary edition)...
it is working fine with it.. but out of eagerness i am expecting some solution for it in kitkat custom roms, because they are slimmer and faster... anyhow thanks
looks like this problem started with the official jb update and continues with the M builds for tab 2 series.
Hi,
I use Bose QC35 ii and Jabra Elite 65t for streaming Bluetooth.
Both of them have a lot of settings that can only be done in their apps.
Problem:
Both the softwares says that the handsfree has not been connected (although is IS connected and I'm listening to music in it). So the phone connects to the handsfree but none of the apps can see that the handsfree has been connected.
Sidenote: I do not have this problem on P20Pro or Galaxy Note 8.
Anyone that has experienced this? Knows a solution?
i have the Jabra Elite 65t , and the Jabra sound+ can't work due to service not loading.
Works well on Android 8 Oreo, i think the problem is the software and not EMUI 9.0, as they need to support Android Pie probably.
I hope they will, otherwise we can't run those apps.
Ok, so then it is up to Jabra and Bose.
Have never tried to contact Jabra but BOSE has a horribly bad customer service that does not answer at all.
Thanks for your reply.
Let me know if you'll get an answer for Jabra.

I just downloaded a new update to the Jabra-app. It does not say anything about Android 9 support but now it works.
Also tried the beta-program for Bose but not even their beta app seems to have support for it.
SOLVED
Hello!
I struggle to sync my jabra elite sport with my huawei P30 Pro for long time, but lucky for me and you guys I have the solution.
You just have to go to the settings menu in your huawei, then go to battery and in that part you will find the "start of applications menu" or some like that, in there you look for the jabra service and jabra sport app, and you will set both in manage manually and there you have problem solved.
You should be able to sync your headphones with no problem.
Let me know if this worked for you
Hello everybody,
Looking for some advice on how to fix my connection problem between Airpods 2nd generation and Huawei mate 20 Pro.
I really like both devices but somehow the Airpods can't be used for calls. The microphone either picks up a lot of surrounding noise or does not record any sound input - meaning the caller can't understand me at all.
I have already tried resetting the airpods, updating their firmware, reconnecting them and adjusting the Bluetooth absolute volume checkbox in developer settings. Anyone has any other ideas on how to fix the issue? I have heard many people actually have no issues with the airpods of 1st gen at all.
Thanks in advance
Whoever also faces the same issue, try to set the maximum Bluetooth connection to 1 in developer settings. For now this seems to have solved the issue.
