Huge drain from Google service, started a few day ago. Some one with a solution? Except factory reset and downgrade.

In Google play app settings turn off auto update apps and notify when update available ect.
THEN, in phone settings-apps, Wipe cache and data of Google play app reboot and start up Google Play again.
And if that don't work bin the honor and get a nexus [emoji2]

Strange that it worked perfect for 3 days and now this.
Try the following and see if it helps :
1. Remove your Google account
2. Clear data in Play Store
3. Same for Google Services Framework
4. Reboot
Add the account back and see if you still face the problem.
If that too doesn't work then the last option, as any Google support would tell you, factory reset

Hi Guys
I'm getting the attached error whenever I try to open Google Playstore from my cell.
I'm on Poland LIB firmware.
Things I've tried :
1) clear cache and data
2) Uninstalled updates
3) installed the latest update of Playstore
4) added a new Id (same error)
5) remove and add the previous Id
Gmail is working fine but playstore is giving me this trouble from past 12 hours.
I can log in to play.google.com without any issues.
Currently I'm accessing it through Mobile Data and have no other connection to check this if it's a connection issue or Playstore issue.
I've done no changes to anything and it was working perfectly fine till yesterday evening.
It started giving me this error all of a sudden
Help please.

Have you tried opening the google play, push the options button (the left one) and go to account? Is there any account added? If not, add your account.
PS. No need for bumps or nobody will help you next time...

I am currently suffering from this same problem. Tried everything you have. Even cleaned data/cache then disabled google play store and rebooted phone. Re-enabled play store, tried to open it... stuck loading. Recleared everything, installed google play from apk, reopen. Still stuck loading after re-entering all information. I have had different apps stop working and had to uninstall them. Reinstalling worked on other apps but when it's playstore system apps turn to fail, can't uninstall fully.
I'm rooted so I uninstalled google play with android tuner app i have bought a while ago. I rebooted the phone and did get LG security error. Sadly when google play was reinstalled, this has not fixed the problem. I am doing a factory reset. Using titanium backup and a external sd card, so restoring my apps wont be too tedious. I feel bad if anyone else encounters this problem. I still don't know how it happen.

The specifics may vary, but some general pointers to get the playstore working correctly:
1- first force stop the app when clearing cache and data, , and also do it for google play services and google services framework. Reboot with mobile data and wifi off, turn wifi or data on, then try to open playstore again.
2- repeat step 1, but also remove and add again your google account from settings before opening the playstore.
Make sure you're not using firewall apps or ad blocking apps to reestrict data on google play services, once playstore is up and running you can enable them again.
Make sure you're not using autostart managers or apps like greenify on playstore, google play services, or google services framework. You can apply them again afterwards.
Good luck.
QUICK AND DEFINITELY WORKING FIX: Just clear Google Play data and reboot. Then change your Google login password and let the device ask for new password.
Force sync and all will be back to normal....

After doing an accidental Factory Reset this week, I have several apps with Error 403 n the Play Store.
I've cleared caches, uninstalled them but nothing seems to work...
Anyone have a solution?
This is a google play bug if it repeatedly happens
Sign out of your account (something in settings>account settings)
Then sign in again
If it keeps happening back up your stuff and repair device via Support zone in Sony PC companion

Does not work...
Just updated wife's phone to lollipop. Keep getting notification that an app needs updated play services. Takes me to play store but no update available... Any ideas?
Clear play services cache...same with play store cache
That did it. Thanks!

I had a similar problem, but the download for the services sticks at 31% and locked the phone, wouldn't let me clear the cache, tried in recovery too same results, had to factory reset

Hello Guys,
I have Note 4 N910C running Android V5.0.1 and few days ago I started to face a problem while downloading new apps or updating existing apps from Google Play Store through mobile data as it only stuck on "Downloading...." and it never goes to Counter or Installing phase and while everything else is working very fine on mobile data so I tried to use WIFI and it works which is very weird... I tried a lot of things in order to solve this issue but I failed... I cleared cache, data, uninstalled updates of play store, google play service and google services frame work and I forced close them and I removed google account and restarted my phone but it didn't work with me... I also unchecked all devices from google play settings on the web and checked only this device but it didn't work too... I removed devices from devices and activity through google account settings and it didn't work.
The only way worked with me is after I wiped data and factory reset the phone and I really don't wanna do this again... Any suggestions please??
